Say Yes (Reverse Version)
**I originally planned to write not only a proposal chapter where Tremaine proposes, but also one the other way around. This is my take on that.
Warnings: Roshan mentions getting hit by a car. It doesn't actually happen. They're also cuddling for the majority of this scene, if that bothers you for whatever reason. Enjoy :)**
Tremaine and Roshan were cuddled up in the former's bed in the Phoenix Riders' dormitory, just talking as they often did. Despite Roshan's whining about the less than comfortable bed, he couldn't deny that it was worth it to spend time with his sweetheart.
They wouldn't talk about anything of vital importance. Just occasionally swapping stories, sharing small kisses and just enjoying each other's company.
"Can I tell you something?" Roshan asked at one point, looking up at his boyfriend, cozily nestled in his arms.
"You can tell me anything," responded the other, smiling warmly.
Roshan bit his lip, thinking for a moment. "I was thinking the other day, like, what if I knew I'd get hit by a car tomorrow? What would be the final thing I'd want to do?" Upon the other's nod in understanding, he continued, "and...I'd want to find a way to show you how much I really love you. I'd want to marry you."
Tremaine smiled. "You're sweet, Ro."
"But I'm serious," he said, his cheeks turning slightly pink. He looked down, then met Tremaine's eyes again. "Like, would that be...not entirely out of the question? Marriage?"
"I don't think it's out of the question at all," he responded, smiling. "It's definitely a possibility."
"But like...is that something you'd want?" Roshan asked, focusing intently on him.
"Roshan...are you asking me to marry you?"
The question immediately flustered the already blushing Roshan. "I-I mean I don't want to r-rush you," he stammered, "I-I'd definitely want it, I just didn't know if you'd-"
He was cut off by a soft pair of lips against his own.
"Of course I'd want that," Tremaine said gently.
Roshan giggled softly. "Then we'll make it happen," he said.
"R-really?"
"Mhm," Roshan said, kissing him gently. "There's nobody I'd rather spend the rest of my life with."
Tremaine grinned. "The feeling's mutual," he said softly. Then, "We're really gonna get married?"
"We're really gonna get married."
