Letters from them
Grommash Hellscream
His frost wolf seems to recognize your scent. It took his time to travel to your location without any harm coming to it. In its mouth held a scroll in the size for orcs to use. Upon noticing the frost wolf, who came and relaxed in your barn house near your green house, gladly take hold of the scroll as it was gifted a steak to gnaw on.
You weren't sure if this would help with communication. A barrier that stops either to know more of one and another. However, upon opening it, find out it was written in your language. It is easy to read without any issues.
I hope my companion finds you well. This letter was not written by my own hands but that who knew how to translate it. I'm not fond of letters, for it takes far too long for a response. These past few weeks are torture. I prefer to be you I spend it with and not remain far apart.
The herbalist of my clan gave me these items. We lack much here. I figured to give them to you as a gift.
One of these days, we will see each other again. Soon.
~Grommash Hellscream
So that was his name? Sounds kinda spooky...
The so-called item was, in fact, what you had tons of in your green house and garden. Tons of them ready for harvest.
His frost wolf followed you around like a lost puppy. A sack of herbs prepared for his clan to use. A new scroll was used for you to respond as well, choosing what to say before writing it down.
Grommash Hellscream? I was beginning to wonder what your name would be.
The herb you sent me is, in fact, what I have in store at my home. I'll cherish the gift as I send you and your clan enough to possibly use it up.
It indeed has been weeks, but I would love to know you better as well. Whenever that is.
~(Y/N) (L/N)
Your satisfaction with your letter was clear as day. His frost wolf remains still as both items were attached to it. Soon, he ran back to his owner and clan.
This left you to venture inside your house. Placing the herb in a glass jar near your work desk. Soon, resume with your day to day task.
Orgrim
He had the scroll prepared along with an item to help with communication.
"Oh? You followed the pull?" Your silence was broken by the orc and frost wolf, he nods before tossing the letter.
Catching it was easy, though it was huge, curiously open it to find writing inside. That you could actually read.
It took me some time, but I found a way to communicate with you without any barriers. The other clans tend to have things lying around. This will help with further communication.
No name was at the bottom. You're not sure what he found till he was knelt to your level, never noticed him hop off his frost wolf nor move, just to place this necklace item onto you.
It had silver chains, yellow red stone, and orange beads. It could be mistaken as a chocker, but it was not.
"-er me?"
You blink, baffled at the male voice "Y-Yeah! Woah! This is cool!"
He seems to be less tense now. Shoulders lower down at the relief. Now he can say anything and would make sense.
"Good. May I get to know your name?
"(Y/N)!"
He smiles, with his tusk and teeth showing more, glad to put a face with a name now. Soon enough, his one hand was set on your head. It was big and heavy. Enough to crush your skull. All he was was set it there and take in your features.
(H/C) hair, sun kissed (S/C), vibrant (E/C), and cloths humans worn. It made him wonder what it would look like if you had worn his clan clothing. The thought alone made him eager and excited to know..
"I have a message to report to the queen and king of Stormwind." Tiny hands took hold of his hand, well one finger, gaining the attention of Orgrim "It's not urgent, but it needs to be sent."
He sighs, knowing he found a way around the issue, nods in understanding. He watched as you walk further away.
Only you stop, smiling at your idea, turn to face the orc who watch you leave "If it's possible, can I meet members of your clan? I'm off for a few days."
The thought about you in his clan cloths came back immediately. The fact he had to nod again to avoid being an idiot says it all. By this news, you ran off with a hop to your step. Orgrim returns to aid his clan, who tries to grow custom to this world.
Blackhand
His frost wolf was nearby as you ventured the nature side outside the camp.
You're high up in a tree, his frost wolf laying there near its roots. The view was mostly the camp site of the horde. Well, half of whom is here. Apparently, the rest is still on their dying world..
"Your fragile bones will shatter if you fall."
Your peace was interrupted by the orcish lady below. Actually, how did she even find you?
"I'm okay with falling." Your eyes stay on the horizon, still not happy with being trapped here, not noticing she climbs up to where you were "Actually, I might as well fall right now."
"Before you do, I have a message from Blackhand." She was so close, almost falling off the tree branch if she didn't take hold of your arm, soon hugging the tree for dear life.
"You scared the shit out of me!"
"You should be more aware of your surroundings. How did you not notice me climbing up this tree?"
"No one climbs a tree that fast! And I'm more focused on the view! The view!!"
She seemed to be amused and disappointed in you at the same time. She didn't think she was a fault and thought you were running a tantrum.
"He requested you to be by his side during training hours. To find warriors, well enough for battle."
Your eyes were keen down at her, confuzzled by that request "....your joking, right?"
Her silence was loud and clear.
You frown, not wanting to go but not wanting to be punished, fiddle with a leaf "So? When should we--WOAAH!!?"
Arms wrapped around you, tight and secure, as she falls out of the tree. Backwards. Panic and fear rise as she fell down. Yet, thinking you were about to die, lands without a scratch on her. The frost wolf wags his tail as your set on the wolf's back with her behind you.
"Immediately."
She rode off as you're still recovering from the event. Even at Blackhand's side, orcs fighting other orcs, still bamboozled by the event that occurred.
Durotan
It was by accident. Wandering into orc territory out of curiosity. You were lucky enough to be saved by the same exact frost wolf from days prior. Not even other orcs were allowed near because of how protective this frost wolf was.
At some point, the pull brought the orc fated to you into the mess. He immediately took action and lessen the crowd. One of the orc men seemed to be friends with him, talking back and forth, quickly set you on the frost wolf, and sent away for your safety.
That was weeks ago, and that frost wolf was still here.
Weeks turn to months. And you begin to believe you messed up bad. So bad, he doesn't want to see you anymore...
But he did come.
At his side was his wife, who seemed taken back at another fated but human, who now supported her husband attempt to fix this problem. Her frost wolf took them to whom his fated lived. A lodge deep in the woods. His frost wolf happy he was back with his owner once again.
The house was small. But he felt the pull leading him inside. He could fit nowhere but found a window for where he could fit his arm into only. That window was where his fated slept. Curled into the thin sheets and slept the night away. Alone in the dark of night.
He felt bad that he made you wait this long...
"Durotan, the letter."
His wife, who would have liked to meet you, comfort her husband, who was in guilt. He was a sweet, soft orc. A leader. But a good husband. A good father.
So, without breaking a thing, set the letter near your bedside. He hopes you would forgive him for his miscommunication. He even left another set of hand-made human sized teeth jewelry for you. He was trying to fix it. In any way he can.
"Come. Let's head home." She called her husband, to which he listened, his frost wolf and hers rode off. Leaving you alone to sleep.
When you awoke the next morning, the sun is coming in, find the scroll and new jewelry. The jewelry was a dead giveaway of whom it is from. Reading it on the spot.
I didn't expect you to meet my horde so soon. It went entirely unplanned. I wish to thank you for the kindness you showed me at my weakness, but to send you away like this without contact is unforgivable. I understand you may not like to see or remain in my life after this. Most time was spent with my clan and wife and child. She admits she was taken back but grew eager to meet you. She is a splendid woman. Our son, too.
If you'd like to come by again, do wait at the ditch you found me at. There I will know if you forgive me or not.
Also, we do not speak the same language. I had a translator do this for me. I meant word by word.
Hope to see you soon,
~Durotan
