"roni, nessa, you guys won't join district 21 right?" mom said

"we won't mommy, we promise." roni said

"okay good, district 21 is very dangerous." mom said

"we know we won't go mommy." nessa said

"district 21 called me." veronica said with a worried look.

"what?! no, really?!" vanessa yelled running to roni looking over her shoulder.

"new voicemail." vanessa read.

veronica opened her phone and opened her voicemail box and saw a new voicemail from unknown. veronica tapped on it and they both listened to it.

hi this is cassie thurmann i'm one of the head dorm owners at district 21, we called to inform you that you are invited to join district 21; a practice base for secret missions and tasks.

vanessa paused it.

"no, we can't do it!" vanessa pleaded.

"nessa, you didn't let her finish." veronica exclaimed tapping play again.

we would love to have you here. we know you have what it takes to be a trainer at district 21. we would also want you to know that  you will have to live here to join and you'll have a couple of  roommates. you will be able to go back home once all the tasks and missions are complete. well we will inform you more when you join. If you join that is. if you are interested in joining just call this number back or come and stop by, the address will be texted to your number. thanks for your time.

"no we can't! mom and dad told us not to when we get older, we can't join district 21." vanessa exclaimed freaking out, walking back and forth.

"nessa, we have to do it!" veronica  yelled grabbing vanessa by the shoulders.

"no we can't. vanessa said, frightened. "remember what mom told us?" vanessa reminded her of.

"nessa c'mon it's probably not as bad as mom thinks." veronica pleaded.

"no, mom said it was dangerous, especially if we're women." vanessa exclaimed.

"who said women aren't strong?" veronica said making a confused face. "especially strong enough to be in district 21." veronica said crossing her arms.

"c'mon we've got nothing to lose please nessa." veronica whined.

"no!" vanessa yelled.

"please please please please." veronica begged.

"fine." vanessa sighed.

"fine." grayson said. there was a long pause.

"no, i still don't wanna." grayson exclaimed.

"c'mon dude, it'll be fun." ethan whined.

"no we're not joining district 21." grayson said.

"eth, gray dinner's ready!" cameron yelled from the kitchen.

"we'll be right there!" ethan yelled back.

"c'mon dude it'll be fun, cameron joined she said it helped her a lot." ethan whined.

"dude c'mon please." ethan whined, pouting.

"ethan. we're not going." grayson exclaimed.

"guys dinners ready c'mon." cameron said opening the door poking her head in.

"i said we'll be right there!" ethan lightly shouted.

"geez okay." cameron said.

"anyways i over heard you talking about district 21." cameron said.

"are you interested in joining?" cameron asked

"yes" ethan said.

"no" grayson also said at the same time.

"well if you wanna join then just give them a call, i have the phone number for you." cameron said.

"i'll send it to you guys after i'm done cleaning." cameron said

"ok." ethan exclaimed.

"but first you guys gotta eat, c'mon." cameron said then shutting the door.

"ethan, i don't want to be in district 21." grayson pleaded.

"just give it a chance." ethan said.

"i promise you it'll be fun." ethan said.

"ugh." grayson sighed. "fine we'll do it.

"great!" ethan jumped bursting out the room filled with joy.

"ugh, older siblings always get their way." grayson and vanessa sighed.

i hope you guys liked that story :) it's a little different from my other stories. sorry that it's such a short chapter just had to get that one out of the way and then start writing the fun parts and also sorry that it took so long to publish but I work on my stories all at once but I do want to publish asap. also this story is inspired by dolanmerrell you guys should go check her out her stories are amazing, i get most of my ideas from her books and it inspired me. anyways i hope you enjoyed this story. chapter 2 coming soon ;).
