Skylar POV

I set the book down and stood up. Letting out a deep breath, I closed my powers and focused my portal powers. Opening my eyes, I saw one led to an ocean and another led to a cornfield. I had formed two separate portals. Reaching out, I grabbed the blue rim of the portal and moved it around like a hula-hoop. 

I closed the ocean portal focused on the cornfield. I held my palms together and pulled them apart causing two portals. One was normal and the other looked to be a mirror portal. I grabbed the chair next to me and threw it in the mirror portal. The chair flew into the mirror portal but stopped after 3 seconds of flying. 

Reaching in, I felt around to see it was like a trap mirror. Leaving the chair inside, I walked out and used my telekinesis to move the chair and bring it out but it slammed against the portal as if it was trapped inside. I reached inside and pulled out the chair with no problem. It looked like I could only reach in and out of the trap mirror. I put the chair back into the mirror portal and focused on my ice powers. 

I froze the mirror portal over and shattered it to pieces causing ice to fall to the ground. I then mirror the original cornfield to see the chair was no longer there. I threw another chair into the mirror portal and merged the mirror portal together with the original one only for the chair to disappear. I pulled the portals apart to see the chair was still in the mirror one. 

I pulled the chair out of the mirror and placed it back down before closing all the portals. Whatever I put in the mirror portal will stay in the mirror portal as long as I don't destroy it. This is kind of overpowered considering that I could do anything with this power. I could expand the portal as well to any size I want.

What if I placed Earth inside a mirror portal. Or what if I wanted to take over or destroy Heaven or Hell, I could simply just put it in a mirror portal. Imagine the power I could hold between life and death.

"What are you thinking?" Godric asked causing me to snap out of my thoughts. I turned to see him looking at me from the doorway.

"Nothing," I lied with a smile. He shook his head with a chuckle as he walked up to me, "I know that look on your face. I've seen it before. You normally have it when you figured something out or have an idea so spill it," he ordered.

I let out a sigh, "Alright, alright. I was thinking what if I trapped Earth in a mirror portal or what if I put Heaven or Hell in there. I could also destroy it," I spoke.

"Yeah and you also flip the balance of things and not to mention end up killing everyone and everything," he spoke in a stern tone. I rolled my eyes, "It's not like I was going to really do it. It was just an idea," I mumbled.

"Sure it was. Now go get dress. I'm taking you a little business trip," he spoke as he teleported me into my room. I grabbed my bag and headed into the bathroom.

"So what do you do for a living?" I asked as I changed into a pair of ripped blue jeans and a white shirt.

"Well," he started off, "I run a private market," he stated.

I walked out of the bathroom with my eyebrow raised, "As in heroin?" I asked.

He nodded his head, "And pretty much any drug you could think of," he spoke before walking out of my room. I followed him downstairs to which he whistled. I watched as Finn, Harry, Marco, Ash, and Ryan emerged out of different rooms and trailed behind Godric.

We all walked out the out and towards a black SUV. Marco hopped into the driver's seat and Ryan took the passenger seat. I sat between Godric and Ash whilst Harry and Finn took the back. "By the way, I got this for you. I know your birthday past and I'm super late but happy belated birthday," Godric spoke as he passed me a black box.

"You didn't have to," I spoke as I opened the box. I let out a gasp as it revealed a silver anklet bracelet which had charms around it. "It's beautiful. Thank you," I smiled before kissing his cheek then placed it one to which Ash whistle. Godric then rolled his eyes before smacking the back of Ash's head.

As we drove to the location, the guys were all talking about what was supposed to happen at this business meeting and I found my eyes trailing to Godric's hand. I grabbed his hand and look at the side of his left pinky to see my initials.

"You kept it," I mumbled as I looked at him. 

He nodded his head, "Always," he spoke as he held his pinky up. I then held up my right pinky, "And forever," I spoke showing him his initials on my pinky. 

When we were small, we got each other's initial as a pack that no matter our distance, we would always be with each other.

"I don't know if your sweet or crazy considering I tried to kill you in the pass," he chuckled as he kissed the side of my head. 

"Well, look on the bright side, I know how to kill you permanently now," I smiled. 

"Psycho much?" he laughed.

"Very," I winked before leaning up against him.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed the top of my head. "How are the guys?" he asked as he held my hand in his.

"Pretty good. They recently destroyed the house with a paintball gun so I made then run suicides and repaint the house. Not to mention Justin, Randy, Hunter, and Ethan got arrested because they thought it was a good idea to take it to the next level and use cars. Oh, then there's Gabe who died," I informed him.

"Yeah, I heard about Gabe. He part angel and demon. Kind of wild to be honest," he mumbled. I nodded my head, "Yeah turns out all the guys will become an angel when they die so I guess we're all immortal," I shrugged.

The car came to a stop and we all stepped out. Looking around, I saw we were in someone's driveway with guards all around. We walked up to the entrance to which we were all patted down before entering and led into an office.

The guy in the chair got up and gestured for Godric to take a seat. The doors behind us closed and I turned to see Finn and Ash was in the room and Harry, Marco, and Ryan were outside. There were three armed guards in the room.

"To what do I owe this visit to?" the guy asked as they both sat down across from each other. "You were suppose to pay last week. I've been letting you side for almost 3 weeks now but I need my money," Godric demanded.

I looked around the room and saw this guy's office was just bland. No photos, no books, not even decorative vase. Looking over to the window I saw it overlooked the pool.

"No," Godric growled causing me to snap out of my thoughts. I looked to see the guy was looking at me and Godric was now flaming with anger. "I'll pay," the guy offered.

"I said no. She's not for sale," Godric growled as he bolted up from his seat.

The guards in the room all aimed their gun at him.

Within a swift move, Ash and Finn both disarmed all the guards and knocked them out before aiming their guns at the guy. He went to push a button under his desk but Godric shook his head. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," he sang.

The guy slowly lifted up his hand. "Fine. I don't want to buy her anymore," he hissed.

My eyebrow rose, "Am I not pretty enough," I frowned as walked around his desk. I looked to Godric who gave me a smirk, "Have fun," he gestured as he sat down in his chair. I sat on the guy's lap with my back against the desk. I then took the guy's hands and placed them on my thighs too which he smirked as he started to stroke me.

"A bit of a freak all tatted up and even your eyes is all tatted black," he growled lustfully. 

"There's nothing wrong with being tatted," I smirked as I ripped his shirt open revealing his bare chest. "How flexible are you," he asked as he leaned in to kiss me.

"Very," I smirked. 

Before he could kiss me, I used my ice powers to cause shards of ice to come out of his chest. He let out a brutal scream to which he tried to push me off him but I didn't move. 

"What happened? I thought you like freaks?" I mocked as I formed a portal which was leading to the bottom of his pool. I pulled out the mirror portal and stood up. Before he could say anything, I grabbed him by the neck and threw him inside.

I sat down in his chair and watched as he frolics around trying to get out of the pool but couldn't. placing my food up on his desk, I looked to Godric who just looked a bit impressed. "How long do you think he'll last?" I asked.

Godric shrugged, "Maybe 30 more second."

I looked to Ash who shook his head, "Maybe a minute."

"Nah, more like 2 minutes," Finn disagreed.

We all turned our attention back to the guy who was drowning. I couldn't help but remember the time I was stuck in a loop of drowning. It was painful and felt worst than death itself. I watched as this guy started to choke on the water. His eyes soon rolled back as bubbles escaped from his mouth and nose. He was some dead.

"Bummer," I frowned, "I kind of expected more of a fight," I mumbled before freezing over the mirror and destroying. "Right well we're going to kill everyone else. See you back here in a few," Godric spoke before him and the guys walked out of the room.

I shrugged my shoulders and walked out of the room. I then skipped down the hallway as I explored the house. I then stopped in front of the kitchen and walked in over to the fridge. As I looked through the fridge, I saw there was a box of pizza laying around. I reached for the box only to hear a click.

"Who are you?" a voice growled. 

I slowly lifted my hands up and turned around to see a shirtless guy with black hair aiming his gun at me. "I'm just hungry," I smiled. 

He fired the gun and I quickly caught the bullet in my hand. Before he could react, I flashed over to him and slammed him down on the island. I then flashed over to a stack of knives and pierced the knives through his palms and legs which stuck him to the counter in a cross shape.

He let out an agonizing scream to which I found myself smirking. Sometimes in me click and I felt this moment quite enjoyable. I walked over to the fridge and took out the box of pizza and grabbed a beer before walking over to the guy. I sat down by his head side to which he was now breathing heavily from the pain.

"What's your name?" I asked as I took a bite of the pizza. "Fuck you," he hissed to which I rolled my eyes.

"You're kind of stuck here until all the blood drains from your body so you might as well tell me," I muffled out. He stared at me for a second before looking at the ceiling. He then released a sigh, "Jacob," he mumbled.

"Ah, I'm Sky. So how come you joined a gang," I asked as I drank some of my beer.

"Cause I got kicked out at 17," he mumbled. "Details," I demanded.

"I stole cars when I was a teen and got locked up multiple times. My parents got tired of it and kicked me out. A gang found me on the street and decided to train me and offer me shelter. In return, I would do their work so I agreed. Been with them ever since. Haven't seen my family in 10 years or had any contact since," he explained.

"Tell me about your family," I asked.

"My mother and father are both the happiest people I've ever known. I have a little brother and a little sister. They're probably in 4 grade or 5 about now," he spoke.

"What do you regret," I asked.

He laid there silently for a second. "I regret taking life for granted and behaving so badly," his voice dropped. I stopped drinking my beer and I focused as I searched his mind. He was telling the truth about everything.

"Would you take the chance to return home if you could?" I asked.

He let out a hysterical laugh, "Without hesitation," he stated.

I stared at him for a second and let out a scoff. I was going to fucking regret this. I quickly flashed around the island and took out all the knives causing him to scream.

"What are you doing?" Godric's voice came from the doorway. I looked to see him and his guys were behind him covered in blood.

"I'm keeping him. He's my responsibility," I mumbled as I threw the knives to the floor and took out some kitchen towels from the drawer before tying it around his wrists and his legs.

"Whatever. We're going to go eat. Want anything?" he asked. "Nope," I replied before they all left casually.

"Why?" Jacob groaned out as I helped him off the counter. "Don't question it and don't question anything I do or I'll change my mind and kill you," I hissed before teleporting him into my bathroom in Godric's house. He fell to the ground and I leaned him against the wall.

"Stay here. I'll be back," I replied before disappearing into Hell's library.
