Chapter 54
"Gabe!" I spoke out loud.
Within a flash, he was standing next to me. "What happened?" he asked as he walked up to Adyin's body. "Well, he tried to drug me but I switched the cups. Anyways, let's see what we can find while he's out," I spoke causing him to nod. We spent half an hour looking around and maybe trashing the place purposely before finally looking in his office.
Everything was listed in Adyin's computer including everyone who works for him which is about almost 100 people. Gabe decided it was a smart idea to invite them all over to the penthouse in the one we were currently in and then kill them. It was smart indeed. They were all going to be here in 6 hours.
We spent houses just playing around with our powers and spray painting the bedroom and bathroom. Time eventually came and Gabe was in the main hall making sure the guys who arrived in the elevator took a spot in the living room. To them, they were still having a meeting and Gabe was one of the new guards. I was currently in the bedroom sitting on the dresser, twirling handcuffs in my hand as I waited for Adyin to wake up.
The bedroom door opened and I looked to see it was Gabe.
"Everyone's here," he informed me. I nodded as he closed back the bedroom door. I got off the dresser and walked over to Adyin. Looking down, I saw he was peacefully sleeping.
"So peaceful," I spoke in a soft voice with a smile. Within a swift move, I then slapped him across the face causing him to bolt up. Within another swift move, I used my strength to flip him over and handcuff his hands behind his back. I then quickly taped his mouth before he could shout or even process what was happening.
I yanked him off the bed and shoved him out the bedroom and into the living room. As I made my appearance, all his guys went to reach for their guns but Gabe stopped them.
"No one move," Gabe shouted as he aimed his AK at them. It kind of funny seeing this considering Gabe could just use his powers but we were saving that for later. We wanted to have a bit of fun first. All Adyin's guys stood around the room by the couch and I sat Adyin down in a chair about 20 feet away from them.
"Do you know why you're all here?" I asked as I ruffled Adyin's hair which caused him to growl through the tape.
"Because you're a psycho," one of them scoffed to which I chuckled. "Nice answer but no and if you want to see psycho, I'll show you psycho," I offered with a wink, "But you're here because you are in the mafia and work for this asshole," I spoke as I gestured to Adyin.
"I'm getting bored over here," Gabe groaned to which I rolled my eyes, "Fine. Start it," I huffed.
"Yay! Okay, I want all of you to take your gun and throw it in the garbage can," he gestured to the can that was 5 feet in front him. "If I find out you have an extra gun or hiding something, I'll kill you on the spot," he added.
"Right, well while you do that, I'm going to grab some stuff. Want anything?" I asked Gabe. He shook his head and I walked back to the bedroom before teleporting into my weapons closet. I grabbed my belt of knives and put it on along with the one that wrapped around my thighs. I then realized I was still in my swimwear to which I shrugged before flashing back into the bedroom.
Walking into the living room, I saw a few guys were dead on the floor to the side of the room. I guess they didn't listen to Gabe. Once everyone was done disarming themselves, Gabe lined them up. I looked to Aydin who was beyond pissed.
I ripped the tape off his mouth causing him to become more pissed off. "Eindama 'akhraj min hadhih al'asfad, sa'aqtuluk! (When I get out of these cuffs, I'm going to kill you!)" he growled.
"'Ashuki jiddaan 'an (I highly doubt that.)," I replied in Arabic. I watched as shock took over his face, "You speak Arabic?" he questioned.
I nodded my head, "I speak every language but I guess I'm still a stupid American, right?" I questioned. Before he could reply, I cut him off, "Anyways, I'm going to ask you a serious of a question. Answer truthfully and I wouldn't be in a rush to kill you. Lie and you get hurt and one of your guy dies. I would like to call this game Truth or Die," I smirked.
"You're fucking crazy," he hissed.
"I know. Tell me something I don't know. Now first question, how many girls have you drugged before?" I asked.
"I don't know what you're talking about," he lied.
I swiftly took a knife out of my belt and pierced it through his leg causing him to scream in pain. I then turned around to look at his guys, "It seems as though your boss doesn't care that you guys may die," I chirped.
"It's ride or die, bitch," someone whispered. I looked to the person to see them with a straight face. "Mhh, yes. Well, then you shall be the first to die. Please step up," I gestured.
He let out a laugh, "Fuck you."
"You're just a whore who wants attention," another guy commented
I nodded my head and looked at Gabe who knew we were going to step it up a notch. He quickly snapped the gun in his hand in half and threw it in the trash. I then flashed over to the guy who said 'fuck you' and reached into his chest before pulling out his heart. Gabe flashed over to the other guy who called me a whore and ripped his heart out.
"Do anyone else have something else to say?" Gabe asked to which they all shook their heads in shock at what they just saw.
I then walked back to Aydin who was still in pain.
"How many girls?" I asked. "I don't know. It's a lot," he breathes out through the pain, "If you let me go right now, I wouldn't drug any more woman," he offered to which I chuckled whilst looking at Gabe.
"You heard him? He promises not to do it anymore," I laughed causing Gabe to chuckle as he shook his head. I then stopped laughing and slapped Adyin across the face.
A smirk then rose to my face and I skipped over to Gabe who looked bored out of his mind. "Brother, how would you a change of plans. Something more fun?" I asked causing his eyebrow to raise.
"I'm listening," he spoke.
"Well, judging by this building, it is connected to an energy source which is controlled by the computer in Adyin's office. How about we put the whole building on lockdown, shut the lights off and set it into emergency mode. Everyone will be running for their lives but there no way to run. Only from the penthouse down to the 160th floor which is 10 floors. Either hide or die," I suggested.
A smirk rose to his face, "I'll program the building's security," he spoke while walking off into the office. I then turned to the guys who were standing in silent.
"Right, well we're going to play a different game to spice things up," I spoke as all the lights turned off before turning to a flashing red which was most likely the emergency mode. "You guys will have 2 minutes to get out of this room and hide. You may hide from here down to the 160th floor. All the exits will be locked and all the phone lines will be disconnected. You could try to fight back but you'll just die quicker," I informed them as Gabe entered the room again.
They all stood there quietly. No one moved or even flinched.
"Well, hop to it. Your 2 minutes starts now," Gabe shouted causing them to all run to the elevator.
Gabe and I chuckled before turning to Adyin who was still on the chair.
"And me?" he asked referring to if he could join his guys.
I shook my head, "We aren't that stupid to let you go. Instead," I paused before turning him on the chair to look at the t.v screen before turning on the security camera footage, "You can watch every single one of you men die."
Gabe and I spent the next hour hunting every one of the guys. Throughout each floor, there was blood spattered everywhere and heads rolling around the floor next to ripped out hearts. After finishing the hunt, Gabe and I returned to the penthouse and tortured Adyin for a bit. We were now eating ice cream still covered in blood. Killing people can be a lot of work more than you think.
"I'm going to go wash up. I'll be back in a few," Gabe spoke before flashing out. I looked to Adyin who was slowly losing blood from all the knife stabs he received on his leg.
He just looked at me with this sorrowful look. However, I didn't feel sad. I shot him a smirk, "Is someone contemplating their life choices?" I asked. He didn't respond. His eyes then lingered behind me and I saw a flash of hope.
"Please help me," he groaned out. I turned to look at who he was talking to and felt chills run down my spine.
