I looked around the table to see all the guys talking amongst themselves as they had now finished their dinner. We were currently as a restaurant as a long day. Sean had past away 2 days ago and yesterday was the day we buried him. A lot of people showed up which was quiet unexpected. Most demons showed up but there were some witches and humans in the crowd besides my brothers. Turns out a lot of people also loved him and actually looked up at him which was a bit weird considering how he fought to take over Hell. Speaking of Hell, Lucifer and I have spoken ever since he walked out of Sean's room that day. I didn't even see him at the funeral which was a bit sad.

Sometimes nudge me in the shoulder and I turned to see it was Gabe with a concerned look.

"You alright? You look a bit lost," he teased. I shrugged, "Maybe I am," I tried to jokingly reply but it came out as a blunt response. He seemed to have known how I truly felt inside because he took my hand in his.

"I know things are hard at the moment but you'll get through it just as how you always do," he reassured me. I nodded my head, "I know. It's just, when we get a break, something else always happen," I mumbled.

He nodded along with letting out a sigh, "Tell me about it. It's honestly annoying but we're not normal. Even the guys themselves despite them being human. We're all powerful in our own ways and the things we know makes us a target," he informed me to which I could only nod in response.

We spent the rest of the night hanging around in an arcade after dinner before heading home to meet Henry and his wife who hadn't seen Gabe yet. We had told Henry yesterday over the phone what had happened but he didn't believe us at first until Gabe spoke to him on the phone. Henry was thrilled to hear his voice again especially since he took Gabe as his actual child like the rest of us. Henry wanted to come over yesterday but was a bit busy so today him and his wife was going to basically reunite with Gabe back at the house.

James was driving as Seth took the passenger's seat and Gabe, Mason and I took the back. I looked over to Gabe who was looking out the window. He seemed deep in though.

"Are you nervous?" I asked in a soft voice. He turned to look at me with a small toothy smile before scoffing, "Nervous? You wish," he jokingly replied. I gave him a small smile as comfort, "You'll be fine. Just be honest. He honestly wouldn't care what you'll say. I just know he'll be happy to see and hold you," I stated.

He nodded his head and we continued the drive in silence with Gabe and I holding hands. Finally reaching to the house, we pulled into the driveway to see Henry's car was parked and he was most likely inside the house with Selena, his wife. 

The guys all parked in the driveway and got out the car. We decided to all wait outside as Gabe would have privacy with Henry and his wife. Gabe thanked us before walking inside the house and shutting the door behind him. I sat on the hood of the car where James was sitting.

"He's been a bit different since he came back," James mumbled as we stared at the front door that was closed. "How so?" I asked looking at him.

"He's much more calmer and more...at peace," he informed me. I thought for a second before nodding, "You're right. He still can be a bit scary though," I added. James chuckled, "No kidding. I almost shit myself when he disintegrate Lucifer's fireball. I think Lucifer almost shit himself too," he jokingly replied to which I chuckled too.

Our chuckles died down quickly and silence took over before James turned to look back at me.

"I'm sorry it had to go down like that with you and Lucifer. He was wrong not to listen to you. I also was wrong for not listen to your explanation. I'm sorry," he apologized.

A small smile rose to my face, "It's okay and don't be sorry. I know it must have been hard for you and the guys to just see me taking siding with Sean."

"It was but I'm still sorry it all went down like that. Gabe and I ended up talking about everything yesterday. Turns our when we die, we'll also be guardian angels for Earth," he spoke with thrill. My eyebrow rose, "Really? He told you that?"

He nodded his head, "He didn't tell you?"

I looked back to the entrance door. "No," I mumbled.

"I'm sure he'll tell you himself soon," James reassured me.

I shook my head, "I don't think so. Ever since he came back he hasn't told me much and we literally haven't even hugged yet. Just held hands. Like I know he hugged you guys for sure. Why wouldn't he hug me? Is it because I'm a demon or something? Is there something off or wrong with me?" I questioned.

"Of course not. There's nothing wrong with you. I promise. He might just be waiting for the right time," James assured me. I turned to seem him looking at me with sympathy in his eyes.

"Right," I mumbled.

About half an hour went by before the front door opened. Light escaped from inside the house causing the driveway to be brighter than it was in the dark. Gabe walked out with Henry and Selena behind him. I then saw Henry had a folder in his hand. As he spotted me, he had his way towards me.

I hopped off the hood of the car before going up to hug him and Selena. After hugging them both, I looked to Henry who was smiling.

"I take it that everything went well?" I assumed.

Him and his wife both nodded and smiled at me. "It did. Thank you very much," Henry spoke.

"Of course," I smiled at him.

He then handed me the folder to which my eyebrow rose in curiosity as I took it from him.

"What is this?" I asked as I opened it. "Never mind," I quickly replied before realizing it was a mission.

"I know this seems like a lot and you can reject it if you want but," he emphasized on the 'but', "I can only count on you for this. I was going to go to Zane but he's busy with another mission," he sighed.

I could feel how upset he was over this which meant this was some top priority mission.

"Details," I ordered as I looked through the papers.

"I need a couple to fly to Europe and disguise themselves as part of an industry. The industry is run by husband and wife. There cover is having oil wells and owning some buildings that are worth more than diamonds. Recent investigation show's that this family are secretly trying to form some explosive. There place is heavily guarded that even the Prime Mister wouldn't touch them. I need some more proof they're doing dirty work. Once you find this proof, send it and then you'll be granted permission to take out all targets involved," he explained.

"If you accept this mission, you'll have to fly out tonight because there's a ball happening in two days. In the ball, you'll have to make a good impression. Your role is a designer and your partner's role is an architecture. You two will be personal assistant to the husband and wife. Get as close as possible and do what you have to do. Also, no powers. The security there is too tight. Only use it when in danger and you guys need to act like a married couple," he further explained.

I looked over to Gabe who was looking back at me with the same expression. "No offense but I'm not kissing you," I scrunched my face up to which he did the same.

Henry burst out laughing as he shook his head. "God no! I meant you and Lucifer. Since you guys were engaged, I thought it would be a perfect fit and you guys are a perfect team for this mission."

I stared at him before now I was the one bursting out laughing. "You're funny. Did someone put you up to this? Did Lucifer tell you to do that?" I asked a bit annoyed.

His eyebrow rose as he shook his head, "No, but I did speak to him about the mission and he said he's okay with it if you are. I thought you guys were on good terms. I'm sorry," he replied a bit disappointed. I felt how sad he was about this.

"No, it's alright and we're on good terms. I was just wondering," I lied. I hate seeing Henry disappointed and this mission seemed like it meant a lot to him.

"Are you sure? I don't-"

"I'm sure. I'll start packing then," I smiled to which he smiled as well. We hugged it out before him and Selena left.

I was now in my room throwing clothes into my suitcase. Part of me didn't like the idea of Lucifer going. We weren't even talking yet.

"He's downstairs waiting by the taxi," Cody spoke referring to Lucifer.

Letting out a sigh, I closed my suitcase and grabbed my designer purse which had the folder full of mission details, any important documents such as my ID, passport and green card. Walking out the closet, I walked over to my mirror and slipped into my nude heels before straightening my white short dress and diamond necklace. I put on some lipstick and put on some diamond earrings.

"Do I look the part?" I asked as I turned to look at the guys who was scattered around my room.

James walked up to me before examining me. "I think it's fine," he mumbled.

Randy scoffed, "As if," he disappeared into my closet before coming back out with a hand and sunglasses. He fixed the hat on my head and shoved the sunglasses in my bag. He then placed a couple of diamond bracelets around my wrist before sliding some rings on my finger. He then slide the ring Lucifer had proposed to me with on my ring finger.

"I know you guys aren't on good terms but you need to act like a true couple. I already lecture him about it and now it's your turn. Fake smiles and fake kisses. Fake it till you make it or in this case, fake it till you complete the mission," he replied as he eyed me from head to toe. He then nodded at the complete look in approval.

With a few minutes to spare, the guys and I all hugged it out before I went downstairs. A hand grabbed my hand causing me to look back to see it was Gabe. Without a word, he hugged me to which I was a bit surprised but ended up hugging him back.

"Be safe," he whispered into my hair.

I nodded and we hugged for a few more seconds before walking out the house. I turned around to the driveway to see Lucifer shoving my suitcases into the car before shutting the trunk. Letting out a sigh, I got into the car and looked out the window as all the guys were waving at me. I waved back as Lucifer got into the backseat with me before the taxi drive pulled out the driveway and headed to the airport. Letting out a sigh, I laid back in my seat praying this mission would be over already.

~~~ Lucifer P.O.V ~~~

As I shoved her suitcase in the car, I could see her hugging Gabe from the corner of my eye. I could also hear him whispering to her to be safe. As they released, she turned on her heels and walked towards the car. She didn't even look my direction nor even glimpsed at me on bit excepting for when she walked out the house.

The outfit she was currently wearing made her look untouchable. I was wearing a suit which wasn't much but she had on a white dress, nude heels and a lot of diamonds. Her hair was lightly curled under her hat. Her lips wore the shade of a light rose pink. A pink I would want to kiss.

She got into the car before I got into the backseat next to her. She was currently looking out the window waving at her brothers as the car had pulled off. My eyes then flickered down to her left hand. She was wearing her engagement ring. Piece of me smiled but then remember she was probably just wearing it to pretend as if we were a real couple.

I then frowned as I remembered I had called her so much dirty names and said a lot of things I now regret. I was furious once I found out she had Sean alive this whole time. I was even more furious when she chose him over me. But then again, I didn't want to let her explain so I guess I deserved this, right?

I emotionally and physically hurt her in so many ways. I was truly a monster. A monster consumed with rage and jealousy. But when Sean was laying on his deathbed and requested that I at less see him, part of me wanted to say no because I was still mad but I knew no wasn't the correct answer.

Sean had told me how sorry he was that it all had to end this way. He didn't mean for things to turn out this way but also lectured me for not treating Skylar the way she's suppose to be treated, like a Queen. Imagine that! A demon on his deathbed lecturing the Devil himself how to treat his own fiance. Quite amusing to think about.

Nevertheless, he told me I was in the wrong for not listening to her and lashing out on her. The only reason she didn't want to kill him was that she was hurting for the lost of her brother who she thought was dead along with her friendship with him which they used to have. I should've known Sean was a demon all these years. I mean we even did business together and even ran the black market for some time. He told me that his sickness cause some blockage for him to which I couldn't sense who he really was in his demon form.

She also didn't kill him because she wanted answers no one else could give. After he explained everything, I finally understood. He even admitted he kissed Skylar when they disappeared for a day. I was a bit made but he then told me that she didn't love him the way she loved me. Even after I burned her out of anger, she still loved me. I don't know whether Skylar was stupid for still loving me or forgiving.

The car came to a stop and I looked out the window to see we were in front the airport. Skylar and I both got out before taking out the suitcase from the trunk and heading inside. I didn't think she would also agree to do the mission let along with me. As she walked in front me, I could help but stare at her from behind.

I'm so sorry I've done you wrong and hurt you emotionally and physically. I still love you dearly, Princessa.
