Chapter 13

Song: Fleurie - Hurts Like Hell

Stella and I stood by the stairs as we watched Crystal did some chant with the crystal in her hand in the integration room. She was sitting in the center of the room with a circle of salt around her along with candles. The flames of the candle stood still but once she chanted louder, it started to flicker. She then stood and looked over to me. I walked over to her and held my hand out. She pricked my finger causing blood to draw.

A few dropped on the crystal in front of her in the white bowel. My finger self healed and I looked to see as the blood was being absorbed into the crystal. I walked back to Stella as Crystal continued to chant. After a few more minutes, the candles all out and Crystal took the crystal out of the bowl before standing up. She walked over to me and passed me the crystal.

"Alright. The room is half finished. While you're getting the dagger made, I'll enchant the room. When the dagger is done, come back. Meanwhile, I need some alone time in the room. Text me when you got to dagger," Crystal spoke. I nodded and thanked her.

As I walked upstairs, I turned to look at Crystal who was walking back to the center of the room. "Would you like me to get you anything to eat?" I asked.

She thought for a moment and nodded. "Maybe Checkers?" she suggested. I nodded with a smile, "Sure. See you in a few," I spoke. I walked up the stairs and closed the door behind me.

"You sure no one is going to go down there?" Stella asked. "Yeah, no one really goes down there. We haven't even used that room in years," I admitted as I held my hand out. She took my hand and I teleported us to my garage. We hopped into a Bugatti and I drove to weapons store. I knew Keith was good at making certain weapons along with his father.

Finally arriving, I hopped out the car along with Stella and walked in. The store had no customers. I walked to the front and saw Keith flipping through some weapon magazine. As I got closer, his eyes flickered from the magazine to me. A small smile rose to his face as he hopped over the counter.

Before I could say anything, he pulled me in for a hug.

"I'm sorry," he spoke in a soft voice. It was clear he knew Gabe was gone. I felt my throat closing up as I was forcing myself to not cry and keep it together. I hugged him back and buried my head in his chest. We stayed like this for a while. We then pulled away and I gave him a small smile, "Thanks."

He nodded, "Anything for my little sister. So what brings you to your fetish store today?" he jokingly replied. I rolled my eyes and Stella laughed.

"Oh, right. Sorry, this is Stella. Stella, this is Keith. Keith, Stella is taken," I added. Keith rolled his eyes at me and greeted Stella. "And I need you to make a replica of this dagger," I informed him as I took out the dagger from behind me and placed it in front him. He took a look at it and stared at me. "I've never seen anything like this let alone the stone or material it's made off," he spoke in shock.

I nodded, "I know. I can't really say much but can you replicate it?" I asked. He examined it a bit more before nodding. "I could but it would be made of a different material. It will look exactly the same," he informed me. I pulled the crystal out of my pocket and passed it to him.

"I need this as soon as possible. When do you think it will be finished?" I asked.

"I could finish it by 3 or so," he spoke looking at his watch. It was currently about 9 in the morning. Before I could reply, my phone rang. I pulled it out my pocket to see it was Lucifer.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey, where are you?" he asked in a concern tone.

I looked at Stella who had her eyebrows raised, "Just in the weapons store. I'm showing Stella where I buy my stuff," I lied.

"Oh, we'll I'll take you guys out for lunch. We need to talk. I'll be there in about a minute or less. Is there people there," he spoke.

"No," I spoke looking around to see there was still no costumers.

"Okay, see you in a few."

"See ya," I spoke before hanging up.

I quickly turned to look at Keith with a panic look.

"Hide the dagger and stone. Don't mention anything about this. He's going to be here any second. Also don't think about the dagger as well. He can read minds," I quickly spoke.

His eyebrow rose, "Who and read minds?"

"My boyfriend. Long story. I'll explain later on if you want when I pick it up. He's basically the devil. I'll tell you more later," I spoke.

He stared at me with a blank face before laughing. Stella shook her head and I let out a frustrated groan. I don't blame him. I sounded crazy.

"Keith," I called in a deep voice as my eyes blackened.

His laughter died down, "Shit," he mumbled before quickly taking the dagger and stone before running into the back room.

The bell above the door rang and I returned to my normal eyes before turning to look to see Lucifer. He gave me a small smile as he came closer. He pulled me into a hug then planted a kiss on my lips.

"How are you doing?" he asked in a soft tone.

"Good," I gave him a smile. He kissed my forehead and released me before looking to Stella and greeting her. "I didn't know you were interested in guns," he admitted to her.

She nodded, "Yeah, I mean I work with the organization as well but I have a different weapons dealer," she informed him. He nodded in understanding.

"Well, when you guys are done, I'll take you guys out for lunch. I need to have a talk. Mainly with you," he spoke looking at me.

"I don't mind giving you two space you know," Stella smiled.

Lucifer shook his head, "I know but I need you to know what's happening as well. Axel told me how serious you guys are and you're honestly involved with him and Sky so it makes no sense not to include you in what's going on," he spoke in a stern tone.

His eyes flickered off mine to behind me. I turned to see him staring at Keith. "Lucifer meet Keith. Keith meet Lucifer," I introduced them.

Keith casually nodded the him. Lucifer nodded back.

"Alright, well we're going. See you around," I smiled at Keith. He held up two fingers to his head as a salute, "See you," he replied to us.

Lucifer turned on his heels and walked out the door with Stella and I trailing behind him. He got into the driver's seat of the Bugatti whilst Stella got into the backseat and I in the passenger. "Can we go to Checkers?" I asked. He gave me a small smile, "Of course we can."

We drove to Checkers in complete silence. Finally reaching, we all got out and headed inside. We ordered our food and took a seat in a booth. Lucifer was across from Stella and I. We had now finished ate and Lucifer was quickly replying to some messages. He then locked his phone and shoved it in his pocket.

"Right so tomorrow, we're going to war with Sean and his army. I've already arranged for your brothers and Jayson along with Henry to be in a safe location where only Micah, Axel and I know about. They're already there. I can't risk taking you to them because some witches and demons on Sean side can get into people's head. I'm sorry," he spoke in a sincere voice.

I nodded in understanding.

"Axel doesn't like the idea of you being involve and losing you but he also knows you wouldn't give up, but you will stay here on Earth away from the war," he spoke to Stella to which she nodded. He then turned back to look at me. "The war is in another realm. It's just like Earth but the energy level is much stronger and powerful. We jump to the other realm at 10 sharp to meet up with our side," he informed me. I nodded my head as I mentally took notes.

"You and I will meet a little before 10 to gear up. Questions?" he asked.

"A few actually. Will everyone on our side have the weapon I had yesterday?" I asked referring to the dagger.

He shook his head, "No. Only you, Micah, Axel and myself will have this weapon. If I gave it to everyone, I'm pretty sure they will end up losing the weapon to which the other side might use it against us."

"Right. What happened to Mel and did James said anything about Gabe?" I asked.

"Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you about both of those things. I sent Mel back to Hell and James said when this is all over, you'll all have a proper burial for him. For now, he's in the morgue in the lab."

I nodded in understanding. "That's about it," he spoke trying to remember if he missed anything.

"Wait, I have one more question," I spoke.

His eyebrow rose, "What's that?"

"What powers the dagger? Like why can it kill?"

"It's all within the stone. The dagger itself is normal but it holds the stone in place and is enchanted by Hell itself. Whatever holds the stone can empower the object when used. It's rare and nearly impossible to find the stone in Hell. I still don't know how you found the weapons room," he spoke with curiosity.

I shrugged, "Pure luck. Do you have any extra stones that I could have?"

His eyebrow rose, "Yes, but why?"

"No reason," I gave him an innocent smile.

He then let out a sigh, "Sure. When we hit the road, I'll get you one."

"Great and last question. What happens if you break the stone?"

"Nothing. It works the same way for the object as long as the object penetrates the demon's heart," he explained.

"Understood."

After this conversation, Stella ordered food for Crystal before we hit the road again. I was now driving and Lucifer was in the passenger's seat whilst Stella was in the back again. He disappeared then reappeared holding his hand out in front me. I looked to see tiny stones like the one on the dagger in the palm of his hands in a small white clothe bag. They were the size of peas.

"They're molted together to make a huge stone like the one on the dagger," he explained as he passed it to me. I thanked him only for his phone to make a notification sound. He looked at it and it was clear to see how angry and frustrated he was. Letting out a sigh, he locked his phone and looked over to me.

"I have to go sort out some stuff."

I gave him a small smile, "Go. It's okay," I spoke in a soft tone. He gave me a small smile before kissing my check. "I'll be in my office if you need me. I love you and drive safe," he planted another kiss on my check. "I love you too," I replied before he disappeared.

Stella then squashed herself between the passenger's seat and driver's seat as she climbed to the front and took Lucifer's spot. "Can you search up wears the nearest nail salon," I asked her. She nodded her head as she pulled out her phone and typed it in.

"The best I found is about 10 minutes away. What's your plan?" she asked.

"Well, I was thinking that fighting an army along with witches is going to tireding and time consuming if I have to stab over a thousand people on my one with a danger. Lucifer said that the stone powers the object which basically results in the action of killing a demon," I explained.

"Oh, I get it now. You're trying to outplay the system so as another help, you're putting the stones on your nails like a design," she filled in.

"Exactly. Hopefully it works," I smiled.

She gave a toothy smile, "Well, since we're at it, can I choose what the design can be for your nails?"

I nodded then chuckled as she let out a girly scream. "This is going to be awesome."

My phone went off and I looked down to see it was Crystal. She was finished. I pulled over to the side of the road and grabbed Stella's hand before teleporting so we had switched seats. "Don't drive yet," I spoke as I placed Crystal's food on the dashboard. I then flashed into the interrogation room only to receive a small scream.

Crystal let out a groan as she saw it was me. "You suck," she shouted in anger.

I shrugged, "You swallow," I smirked. Her eyes widened before she stuck her middle finger up at me causing me to laugh. "Well, how'd it go?" I spoke walked around the room.

She smile victoriously, "Successful. Where's Stella?"

"We're going to get my nails done. I'll explain everything in the car. Stand here," I spoke directing her a distance behind me so she would land in the backseat and I in the passenger's seat.

I flashed us in the car and passed grabbed the food from the dashboard before passing it to her. As we drove to the nail salon, Stella and I explained everything that was going to happen along with the stone that was going to be put on my nails.

Later, the girls both decided to get their nails done as well instead of sitting around and waiting. Throughout the entire time, we made jokes and laughed. I could feel their emotions. Deep down, they were a bit scared of the outcome of tomorrow. I was also scared. Not scared to die but to lose my family, my friends, and my future husband. Every time I think about Lucifer, I just see the book from Hell showing me Sean ruling Hell.

Why didn't I see Lucifer?
