Chapter 3
OK I am back with chapter 3 of my fantasy story. Hope y'all enjoyed the second chapter. OK, enough introductions let's just jump into this.
I came up on a red traffic light as I slowly approached the four-way intersection upon entering Eddyville.
"Man I hope this doesn't take too long..." I thought to myself as the light turned green with me slowly picking up speed and crossing the intersection. Then, I took a right and drove towards the park as I rolled up into a parking spot and stopping the bike. I look at all the people walking, talking, and playing as I got off the bike with it disappearing.
A female about my age slowly approached me from behind and covered my eyes.
"If you move, then you're going to regret it..." She whispered into my left eye, "however, if you guess my identity then I'll let you go."
"Hmm..." I thought, "is the person I'm talking to named Sophie?"
She smiles as she removes her hands then moved in front of me, with her blonde hair shining in the sunlight.
"Dang." Sophie said to me, "I thought you would screw up LoLo."
Me and her began laughing as we started walking around the park and town.
"So, have any plans for the summer LoLo?" Sophie asked as she looked at me.
"No, not yet anyways." I replied as I looked at her with a smile. The only thing that was my favorite about my friend was her smile. That same smile that always greeted me everyday.
"So, do you have any plans for the summer?" I asked Sophie. She shrugged and said that she didn't have any ideas either.
"Hey, you want to go get something to eat?" Sophie asked me. I smiled and looked at her.
"Sure." I said as Demon's Fury appeared with Sophie looking at it with awe.
"Where..." Sophie asked as she was given a helmet with her taking it and putting it on. Then, I got on the bike and started it up as Sophie got on and held on to my stomach.
"Do you know how to drive this LoLo?" Sophie asked me with a little worry in her voice. I look at her and smiled.
"Of course," I said as we took off from the park with Sophie holding on to me much harder. I couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Nervous, Soph?" I asked as I whiskey throttled the bike making her hold on to me more.
"Jerk!" Sophie said as she punches me with a smile. I laughed as I drove us to the Station.
The Station was a local burger joint that most of our friends go and hang out at when they have nothing better to do. Sophie and I walked through the doors as we were greeted by a high pitched, "HEY!"
"Hello, Kwin," Sophie and I said as we turned to the tall male standing behind us. Kwin was almost 6 feet tall, had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He had his arms around me and Sophie as he dragged us to a table with some of our other friends. The table he brought us to had five of our friends: three being girls and two of them males. I smiled; however, frowned mentally as i was waiting for the mystical call of Lucifer to order me away.
"Hey LoLo and Sophie," a female named Rachael Kluppel said to us as we were dragged by Kwin. The other four who were talking turned to us with bright smiles waving to us.
"Hey guys!" Sophie said with a smile on her face, "You all have plans for this summer?"
"Not really," said her best friends Rachael, Hannah, and Bailey, "You?
"Not really either," Sophie said with a frown on her face. One of the males quickly stood smiling.
"What about the lake?" my friend Taylor Carney, but everyone called him Carney, suggests.
"YEAH!!!" Everyone but me screamed. Sophie laughed a bit turning to me as i was dead silent.
"LoLo, what about the lake idea, since you have nothing better to do," said Sophie with smiled sweetly. I was currently lost in thought as my left was flaring up without anyone around me knowing. This was a typical behavior whenever a Rogue Demon or Rogue Arch Demon was nearby. I shook my head as I looked at Sophie with a smile.
"Sounds like a great idea!" I said as cheerfully as possible.
"Great! How about tomorrow then?" then asked Carney with a smile.
"Yeah!" Everyone then cheered but was cut out by a female screaming her head as I heard a demonic roar coming from the entrance of the restaurant.
"Shit," I thought to myself as I quickly ran with my friends hiding in a hallway before the demon can attack. Travis's spirit appears next to me as we communicate through telepathy.
"Looks like Artemis has escaped," said Travis as I mentally nodded.
"Ya think?!" I yelled as Travis smiled.
"Well, what are YOU going to do?" Travis then asked as I realized the predicament I put myself in...
Well, do I have to spell it out for you?
I'm Back...
