The word "dismay" was not sufficient to express her current mood, but probably there was no word able to summarize it!

Once back to her world the girl thought of having had a terribly vivid dream, but, evidently, it wasn't so since she was gone for more than 15 hours without anyone knowing where she could be. Her family panicked and after having looked for her in every place dear to her, they wanted to go to the police to report her missing. Her mother had even hypothesized an alien kidnapping and the absurd thing was that was almost right!

Right when her mother, father, brother and even her cat kept spinning out around the living room, a shining chasm opened on the ceiling right as the one which had teleported her in the far away reign from which the girl exited followed by a "light" landing (If she had arrived quicker, probably she would have left a crater on her living room's floor!).

Her relatives were astonished; at the end, what could a normal person say after having seen his own daughter believed disappeared who knows where, reappearing from a strange portal on the ceiling?!

The girl couldn't still open her eyes for the first seconds, scared of finding herself in a place even worst! How could have she been so crazy to jump in a green whirlwind at the incitement of a mad old woman, convinced of being in charge of an important mission for the world salvation who, among the other things, had managed to involve her and the other strange guy in this daring research?

After a while, she found the courage, opening her eyes and meeting the petrified glances of her loved ones who still hadn't assimilated what just happened. Then, there was a moment of absolute silence to which followed a sudden scream! Poor Fido's fur was singed off for the fright and had run to hide under the sofa.

After this meeting, Clara tried to summarize the last events, if possible, trying not seeming a poor mad in the grip of hallucinations. At least, she had the proves and no one could hypothesize strange drug use; she didn't use normal ones either!

At the end, everyone looked at her astonished but, despite the strange circumstances, they seemed to have understood, even if didn't know what to do, since, apparently, her daughter should have joined in this mission to save a reign who knows where and from who knows what or who! It wasn't surely something for which they could ask the help of police. Who would have believed to them?

After having made sure that they didn't freak out, she went to prepare the bathtub, to take a long and regenerating bath and to pretend that anything happened! Unfortunately, fate had something else on mind for her, since she found her problems in the flash in front of her in her bath, naked as a tree during the winter!

After having thrown on him everything she had at hand, she thought that it would have been better not killing him instantly!

<<Would you be so kind to explain to me what the Hell are you doing in my bathroom?>> The young woman hissed with gritted teeth, wrapped in her fluffy bathrobe and with her wet hair still dripping in a towel. She was definitely ready for a parade across the streets of sweet life!

<<This is really a bizarre place to meet...>> Amos told looking around. He surely had never seen a modern bathroom! Clara kept flashing him with her gaze waiting for the reason for this unexpected and definitely unwanted visit!

<<Lillybet thought that sending me here could have helped you to explain the situation to your family in the less shocking way.>> He explained, still looking around like he expected something or someone coming out of blue.

<<Then let me relieve you from this heavy assignment since I had already ensured and the situation is completely under control, so you can come back from where you came. Thank you for your interest.>> The girl answered satisfied, until she heard her dream breaking! Her family didn't do anything to avoid of being heard until the other side of the world

<<Yes, I see that you have everything under control. Leave it to me, when I will have explained everything, they will calm down.>> Amos stepped, like he had an answer for everything.

<<For God' sake, stop! What would they say, seeing that my new "friend" is a kind of dark angel who seems to come out of a fashion magazine? Do you really think that this would calm them?! I don't want them to have a heart stroke!>> She replied, undoing the distance. (Who cares of "vital space"?!)

<<So, my torture and delight, what do you propose? Keep living here doesn't seem to me the right solution, but maybe I am wrong>> He told her never stopping looking at her with those beautiful purple eyes.

"Wow, I'm sure that someone up there is really testing my firmness; at least, I hope that it worth. It's like having a tempting and dish in front of you and choosing not to sample it due to the diet. This would be the right thing if I were on a diet, but I'm not! Oh, what kind of things am I thinking in a moment like that?! I must absolutely recompose myself and send this kind of living temptation from where he came and make sure of not being involved in these crazy bailouts, since the only adventures that I want to live are the ones that I write in my novels." She thought, trying to find a way to avoid an embarrassing meeting between him and her family. She still hadn't had a true love story and, surely, she didn't want to have one with a non - human guy who, among the other things, had even tried to kill her, except stopping for his dirty interests!

<<I'll figure it out, but the most important thing is that they don't find you here.>> The girl told him, but hearing the door opening and starting imaging the worst scenarios!

<<Who is him?>> All the members asked at the same time.

<<My name is Amos and if you interfere with me, it will be the worse for you!>> He answered, looking at her with a gaze like "don't worry and leave it to me.".

"The good news is that it can't get much worse!" Clara realized, trying to keep a minimum of self – control.
