"Do I really have to?" The team looks at you in pity as you stand facing the open and functioning stasis pod.

"Y/n. We don't want to force you."
Bumblebee nudges you forwards towards the pod and you turn to face them. Fear evident in your optics.

"Y/n.." Strongarm steps forwards. The two of you had built a bit of a friendship over the past earth month during her guarding shifts, but it doesn't show at all as she stands in front of you.

"If you do this, time will pass faster for you. And you could be let out sooner for cooperating." She places a servo on your shoulderplate and you sigh.

"Ok.." turning back to the pod, you step in, and shakily turn around to face the bots. "Bye.." the pod closes, and frost appears on the window.

You wait patiently for stasis, but it doesn't come. You are able to watch as the bots turn away from the pod, and you scream silently.
Trying to tell them you're still awake. But you're frozen. Unable to move.

Is this how I'll stay until all of the cons are captured? I don't want to be awake!

Panic overcomes you as you struggle to move your limbs.

Someone get me out!!

A single tear of coolant trickles down your faceplate as you realise that no one would know if the malfunction in the stasis pod unless they let you out.

This is going to be a long couple of months..

Memories flash before your optics as your boredom increases.

You have been stuck, fully conscious in the pod for two earth months now, and you've watched as new bots come and go, and the base is attacked. But with every attack, every con escaping, your pod has never been touched. From your spot on the Alchamor, in your pod, it seems that the only time anyone even knows you're still there is when someone mentions Drift's first time coming to the base, and thats when all optics slide to you in the stasis pod.

Other than those few times, no one had gone near you or looked at you. Until Grimlock decided to clean the outside of your pod.

Sounds from the outside are still muffled, but you can clearly see Grimlock approaching the stasis pod with a human hose and large human blanket in servo.

What could he possibly be doing...

The newly arrived Prime also looks at the green dinobot in curiosity, but does not follow him as he turns on the hose and aimed it at your pod.

What appears to be water, sprays out, and hits the dusty glass of the pod.
Then, with gentleness you didn't know he possessed, Grimlock wipes off the water. Your vision is cleared and you can watch better as he disappears around the pod to wash it as well.

Sideswipe approaches the pod as well out of curiosity, and his derma move as he speaks to Grimlock. A smaller rag is thrown to him, and he hesitantly looks you in the optics through the glass of the pod before rubbing small circles on the glass starting in the top left corner.

Why are they doing this? And why does he look so nervous? Only Fixit can open this pod, so he has nothing to worry about..

A groundbridge opens, drawing their attention, and they leave your pod to approach the returning minicons and Drift.
Another groundbridge opens, and their helms swivel towards it as Bumblebee and Strongarm appear, dragging a pinkish-purple con.

But something is wrong. A worried jolt fizzles through your system as the two ground bridges combine into one, and the bots are all thrown back from the force.

A tall, slender, and somehow familiar mech steps out, and it takes you a moment to figure out how you know him.
But a smaller piece detatches from his chassy and a familiar drone flies in a large circle around the scrapyard.

Laserbeak! That means the mech is Soundwave!

If you were out of the pod, you would have run to your old friend, but all you can manage from inside of your pod, is to widen your optics slightly, and even that takes energy.

Your old friend now sports stifle-jointed legs, his arms doubling as wings, making them, along with his fingers, very thin. His face is a visor that appears to function as a computer screen. You note as numbers and letters flash on it.

The Autobots attack and Soundwave easily throws Bumblebee into the still open ground bridge, using smaller groundbridges to confuse the others.

A strange feeling ovecomes you, and you manage to twitch your digits as Strongarm and Sideswipe are smashed into the wall.

Soundwave begins constructing an object, and you somehow manage to summon enough strength to tap the glass with your digit.

Seeing movement, Laserbeak dives down and hovers in front of your pod.
He seems to reconise you as he moves to the control pannel of the pod and hacks it within nanoseconds.

The glass hisses as is dethaws, and it slides away.

You fall out, onto the metal floor of the Alchamor just as Fixit and the humans charge towards Soundwave.

Who, at the sound of the opening pod, turns to you.

He seems frozen as he stares at you from behind the mask, and a single recording is played as you slowly rise to your pedes.

"Y/n?"
