Nerco's POV

: hello?"

Zane: Nerco!"

: what Zane?"

Zane: where are you?!"

: at the cove why?"

Zane: there is a Martians ship close to you about 44 miles south" 

I was scared. if they hurt Megan I will go crazy. 

Megan: babe?"

: everything will be ok"

I hugged Megan. her eyes were filled with fear, I kissed her. she kissed me back, she wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her body. I wanted to keep her close to me and keep her safe. I can not let them take her away from me. I moved one of my hand down to her butt. I felt my face heat up.

Megan: babe?".

I moved my hand away from her butt and started to blush really badly. 

: sorry dirty thought"

Megan: it's ok, you are not the only one with some dirty thoughts"

: really?"

Megan: yes" 

: Megs I know you wanted to stay here until you go the crystal figured out but there is a Martians ship about 44 miles out from this cave and I want to keep you safe... please can we go to the lab. the people I know won't hurt you, they want to protect you"

Megan: I want to protect you too babe"

I smiled at Megan. Megan hugged me, she is a hugger. We went outside for hunting, her skills with the gun are awesome but she is a little scared of accidentally hitting me. I can't tell her about my shifting. During a blood moon, I shift into a creature, when I see blood I go into a thing called rampage. 

Megan was looking at a deer when it ran off. I saw another deer. I closed my eyes and shot the deer. I opened my eyes and saw the blood on the ground, it was a half-moon tonight. 

Megan: babe?"

: sorry I can't stand blood"

Megan: it's ok, you don't have to look at it"

I looked away and felt rampage started to take control. Megan walked over to the deer and cleaned the blood. 

Megan's POV 

Nerco told me about not able to see blood. is Nerco a vampire?! no, he can't be 

Nerco: babe?"

: yes, Nero?"

Nerco: this is the blood gone?"

: yea"

Nerco walked over to me and his eyes were almost blood red. There is no way my boyfriend could be a vampire I mean he never told me he was and he's always out in daylight that is definitely a clue that he is not a vampire but he was never outside during a full moon or a blood moon speaking of a blood moon is going to be 1 in two weeks.

: babe are you okay I don't mean to sound nosy but is this something you're not telling me"

Nerco: I'm fine and if there was something I wasn't telling you I would be telling you I promise just not right now okay babe"

He never acts like this I was getting really worried about him he's the love of my life what is something bad going to happen to him and I don't know about it. We went back to the cave and started cooking the deer that Nerco killed I still think something's wrong with my boyfriend but I can't judge at least he doesn't know that I'm the last guardian of us and I need the four crystals to survive right now I only have the first Crystal which grants me the power a resurrection I have to get the crystals in the exact order that they were destroyed in.

Nerco: babe are you okay you've been quiet for about an hour now?"

: yeah sorry just thinking about something"

Nerco: baby please tell me what's wrong I know something is wrong because you don't look me in the eye"

I cannot look him in the eyes not yet I need to figure out why he wasn't allowed to see blood. All of a sudden I felt something coming closer to us.

Nerco: babe you have to trust me on this we need to get to that lab"

: okay we can go just tell me what it looks like and I can teleport us there"

Nerco: no I have a fast way to get us there but you need to go packs your backs okay I cannot let you get hurt again"

I looked him straight in the eyes and I could tell he did not want to lose me so I did what he told me to I went to my room and started packing my things technically it wasn't my room it was the caves room well I was getting my stuff together he was getting his things.

I went back to the main room of the cave and Nerco putting a new round in his gun.

: babe?"

Nerco: everything is going to be okay I promise I need you to hold my hand"

I grabbed his hand and we was teleported to the lab. But how did we get from the lab here in only 2 seconds.

??: Nerco?!"

I opened my eyes and saw a Martian standing a few feet in front of us.

Nerco: hey Zane"

Zane: how did you get here so fast the Martian was right on top of you guys"

Nerco: I used my pocket watch second power I know it's still dangerous but I had no other choice I could not let her use her powers again to bring us here"

Zane: and I'm guessing the Girl in your arms is the girlfriend you was talkin about when you mentioned she was burning up"

Nerco: yep Zane I want you to meet my girlfriend Megan Megan this is one of my friends Zane he's a martian but he walks for my family in a way"

: hi.... Zane"

Zane: well you're a little shy but hey really help I know somebody who said to nice to meet you Megan".

Two other martians lost towards us I was really scared because Martian shot at us before but never was nice to us.

Zane: this is Toph and Jack"

Toph:  hi there"

Toph is a female Martian I've never seen a martian up so close before it was so cool. I looked over at Jack had like an Irish style going on I could tell he was a little bit of Irish.
