Megan's POV

Zane: This is Toph and Jack"

Toph: hi there"

Toph is a female Martian I've never seen a martian up so close before it was so cool. I looked over at Jack had like an Irish style going on I could tell he was a little bit of Irish.

Jack: hello there lassie"

: hi"

Jack: it's ok lassie we are here to help you find the crystal and to keep you two safe".

I looked over at Toph and saw she had an evil smile on her face.

Nerco: Toph what did you do?!"

Toph: nothing sir"

Jack: lassie please follow to your room, is there anything you need?"

: maybe a glass of tea and a shower"

Jack: there is a shower in the room I will take you to and I will get that tea for you, what kind do you like?"

: peppermint please"

Jack: you're welcome lassie"

Jack took me to a room and there was a master bed and a desk near the window, I saw a door leading to another room. I opened it and saw a bathroom.

Toph: there are a few dresses in the closet don't know if you would wear them or not"

: thanks, Toph"

I went in to take a shower.

Nerco's POV

I was looking at the map we had at the base. the cave was 44 miles away from here.

Toph: you should see your girlfriend she looks hot"

I gave Toph a glare and went to my room at the lab. I will kill Toph of everything happened to Megan. I unlocked the door and saw Megan wearing a dress.

My jaw drop. She looked super hot

: Megs you look super hot"

Megan: thank you Nerco * her cheeks were turning bright pink*"

I walked over to her and hugged her. Megan placed her head against my chest. I was only 3 inches taller than her.

Megan: babe"

: yes, Mega?"

Megan: will we be ok here?"

: yes we will be, this lab is under a clock to where no one will find us that does not have one of this * I pulled out a dog tag chain and show it to her* anyone who lived or worked here has one"

Megan: all but me"

: don't worry babe I will get you one"

Megan looked up at me and smiled. I placed my dog tag on my chest and kissed Megan. Megan kissed me back.

Jack's POV

I was heading to Nerco's room when I saw the door opened, I looked in and saw them kissing. I placed the tray on the table and walked out of the room.

Zane: we need to work on the new suit for her and weapons"

: and a dog tag"

Zane: good idea Jack"

I looked at the map and saw an X on the spots we checked for Nerco's brother Blaze.

Toph: there only two more days until his shifting happen"

: Megan won't know how to deal with it as we do"

Toph: we will help her"

Megan's POV

we stopped kissed and I saw a tray on the table near the door.

Nerco: looks like Jack brought your tea for you"

: Yay! sorry I really like tea"

Nerco: it's ok I get the same way with coffee".

P.A System: Nerco please come to the main area repeat please come to the main area"

Nerco: Toph!"

Nerco walked out of the room. I grabbed the cup of tea and sat down at the desk. There were letters upon on the desk. I grabbed one them and started reading it

" Dear Brother

I have missed you so much, hope my team is treating you well I'm off to looking for some new friends to help out the base if anything comes up you know how to find me I hope one day I can re-see you again it's been a long time since I last saw you, brother,,,,

Your brother"

Nerco never told me he had a brother why was he keeping this a secret from me he never keeps secrets from me.

Jack: hey lassie"

: Hey Jack"

I never took my eyes off that letter it was like you never wanted me to know that he had a brother but why. I mean I'm keeping a secret away from him so it's fair right?

Jack: you ok lassie?"

: yes I'm just thinking about something"

Jack: Lassie if you want you can tell me I won't tell us soul unless you want me too".

: I did not know Nerco had a brother I've been hiding a secret from him I'm the last guardian of Earth my mom died in the first wave all I member of my family is my mom was a powerful Guardian but my father was abusive, when I met Nerco my life changed Nerco treating me with the love that I didn't"

Jack: oh lassie"

I started to cry. Jack hugged me. Even though Jack only meets me he is being nice to me.

Jack: Lassie, we will treat you like family here. We will love you like our own sister"

I smiled at Jack.

Jack: how do you like the tea?"

: it's awesome Jack thank you"

Jack: your welcome lassie".

Jack left the room and I went back to focusing on the letters why would he not tell me any of us.

Later that night

I was reading a book when Nerco walked into the room.

Nerco: babe?"

: yes, babe?"

Nerco: Jack told me that you were crying"

: I was thinking of my past"

Nerco: babe do you want to talk about it?".

Nerco sat down on the bed next to me. Should I tell him my whole past or no I mean I've already told Jack the beginning half of my past maybe me and him can make a deal if I tell him a little bit about my past he would tell me little bit about his.

: how about this babe I'll tell you my past if you tell me a little bit about you okay"

Nerco: deal".

: my mom died in the first wave at attack after she split up from my dad ever since then it has just been me until I met you now it's us and I wouldn't want to have it any other way"

Nerco: I lost my brother in the first wave attack, I don't know what happened to my dad"

I hugged Nerco, I could tell he was going through a lot of pain.
