Elemental Princess is the shipping between Pyrrha Nikos and my OC, Stella Valentine!!

Summary: The students are celebrating Christmas together, when Beacon falls. All Stella wanted was a perfect Christmas with her girlfriend, little did she know it would be their only and last holiday together

Blackness.

That was all that Stella could see.

The small, pink haired girl inhaled, trying to breathe, but she only choked on dust.

Getting to her feet, she could hear voices. The Valentine couldn't figure out who the voices belonged too, but they all sounded distressed.

"Pyrrha?!" Stella cried out. "Yang?! Ruby??!" She called out, just wanting to know that they were okay. "Anyone? Is anyone here?"

"I'm coming! Hang in there!"

Suddenly, the concrete hiding the pinkette in a pocket of darkness, was removed. Stella got to her knees, and noticed Myx and Jasper standing before her.

"Oh thank god." She blurted, relieved to see her team leader and friend alive. She got to her feet, and hugged the brunette. Shakily, Jasper returned the hug.

"What happened?! Where is everyone?" Stella asked, once pulling away from Jasper, though the teammates still held onto eachother.

"I... I don't know." Myx admitted, though she still looked shaken. "Where's Pyrrha? She was just with me." The Valentine admitted, looking between the pair, who didn't know what to say. They didn't know where anyone else was.

It had been an absolutely perfect evening.

The first years common room had been completely decked out with Christmas decorations.

Yang, Stella and Ruby put up a Christmas tree, which Nora and Ren helped to decorate. Some first years wandered over and put wrapped presents under the tree.

Pyrrha, Myx, Zaff and Jaune hung tinsel around the room, mostly from the ceiling.

Maeve, Nova and Blake wandered into the common room, carrying an arm full of ugly Christmas sweaters.

As soon as Crim laid his eyes on the sweaters he frowned. "No." He huffed, which caused Nova to grin. "You have to wear it. I bought one for everyone." He said smugly as Crim groaned.

"They look itchy." Sun complained, before Blake handed one to him. "Nova picked one especially for you." The Belladonna teased, as Sun held up his red and green Christmas sweater, which had a cartoon monkey on it.

He smiled at it, before he looked to Nova. "Fine. I'll make an exception." He decided, as Nova flicked him a grin.

Stella and Pyrrha stood by eachother's side, Stella wearing a red sweater and Pyrrha wearing a pink. Nova had bought the pink for Stella and red for Pyrrha but they decided they wanted to wear eachother's sweaters.

"What do you want for Christmas?" Pyrrha asked, taking Stella's hand. Stella looked to her girlfriend, before she smiled. "I have everything I want already." She insisted, "I have an amazing girlfriend. Two of my sisters are here. I have an awesome team and pretty cool group of friends. What more could I want?"

Pyrrha smiled, before she nudged the pinkette. "That's so cheesy, babe." She teased. Stella laughed, shooting her girlfriend a smirk before she decided to break out into song.

"All I wanted was youuuuuu."

Maeve smiled smugly before she began to sing along too, "All I wanted was you." Blake, who was sitting next to Maeve on the sofa, gave the fox an impressed smile by her voice.

Stella continued to sing, as she spun around Pyrrha, loosely tying a yellow piece of tinsel around her shoulders. "I could follow you to the beginning, just to relive the start. And maybe then we'll remember to slow down, all of our favorite parts. All I wanted was you."

Pyrrha rolled her eyes playfully at pinkette's dramatics, before she leant down to kiss her. Stella's eyes fluttered shut, as she kissed the redhead back.

"Get a room!" Rocky huffed teasingly, causing the couple to break apart. Stella and Pyrrha leant their foreheads together, as they giggled at the teasing. Their faces reddened, as they grew embarrassed.

"Come on, Myx and Jasper made us some hot cocoa in the kitchen." Ruby announced excitedly, as everyone began to follow.

Everyone got to their feet and left the common room, making a beeline for the kitchen. Stella and Pyrrha giggled, before they followed after their friends, hand in hand.

Moments later, Teams JSMN, RWBY, JNPR and CRMZ were all in the kitchen, drinking hot cocoa together. Jasper passed around a bag of marshmallows, so everyone could put some in their cocoa.

Rocky, Weiss, Nora and Yang then worked together to make gingerbread cookies, as the others loitered around the dining area.

Stella and Pyrrha decided to get away, heading back to the common room. The girlfriends were soon cuddled up together on the couch, as they shared some of their cherished Christmas memories.

"One time Yang, Ruby, Nikki and I wanted to stay up all night so we could see Santa and the Reindeer." Stella explained. "My older sister Seylah found the four of us all fast asleep on Christmas morning, underneath the Christmas tree."

Pyrrha giggled before she said, "One Christmas, Myx and I had a competition on who make the most Christmas cookies... we went overboard and were eating those cookies for weeks." The redhead laughed.

After sharing more memories, their friends slowly piled into the room, wanting to unwrap presents. Weiss came in with a plate of freshly baked gingerbread cookies.

The students sat in a large circle and opened presents together for a while, Jaune looking thrilled by his new sword sheathe.

Nora was given a lot of Christmas cookies, which excited her. Rocky looked over at the pile of cookies tins, trying not to drool.

"I have a present for you." Pyrrha said to Stella, before she got to her feet. The redhead took Stella's hand and helped her up, before the couple walked towards the tree.

"I have one for you too." Stella smiled, before she bent down to grab a wrapped present from the tree. When she stood up, facing Pyrrha, the Nikos held a small wrapped box in her hand.

"Wait!" Yang called out, catching the girlfriend's attention. Ruby giggled mischievously, as Stella and Pyrrha faced the Xiao Long with confused expressions as she burst into a fit of giggles with Ruby.

"You're standing under the mistletoe." Weiss pointed out, with a smirk.

Stella and Pyrrha looked up, noticing the mistletoe hanging from the ceiling. They both giggled before they looked at eachother. Stella flashed a loving smile, before the pair leant forward to share a kiss.

And that was when it happened.

The first loud smash was heard, as half the common room's roof was gone.

"What the hell?!" Jaune blurt in a panic, as Grimm began to destroy the school. "Everyone! Get down!!!" Crim ordered, as more crashing sounds were heard. His eyes darted to Rocky instantly.

Everyone tried to avoid the wreckage as best they could and hide, before the entire roof came tumbling down.

"Pyrrha and I were going to exchange gifts and... a Grimm attacked the school..." Stella recalled, as Jasper nodded. "Yeah.. most of our friends have been too injured to fight, so most of the older students have been trying to fight off the Grimm." Jasper explained. "So many people got injured... but suddenly the Grimm all seemed to have stopped... almost like they turned to stone." Myx confessed, confusedly.

"What?" Stella blurted, as she turned to look over some of the rubble, to see that the Grimm had indeed stopped moving.

"Stella!!" A voice yelled out, belonging to Ruby. The pinkette spun around, to see Ruby and Nova approaching her, as they were holding eachother up.

"Ruby!" Stella blurted, in relief before the two girls rushed into eachother's arms. "I'm so glad you're okay." The Valentine said, holding her younger sister tightly.

"Where's Yang?" Stella asked, once her and Ruby broke apart. "She's safe. She's with Nora and Weiss." Nova answered.

Stella looked to Jasper and Nova, relieved to see two of her teammates, but Maeve was absent. "And Maeve?" The pinkette asked. "She's with Blake and Crim." Jasper said.

"And what about Pyrrha? Where is she?!" Stella demanded, as everyone stayed quiet before Ruby and Nova shared a look. "Where is she?? If you guys know something, tell us!" Myx suddenly snapped, not liking how quiet the others were being.

Ruby's lip quivered before she confessed, "Pyrrha is gone."

Stella froze for a moment, before she shook her head, "What.. do you mean? Like she's not on school grounds or?"

Myx's eyes widened, before she lifted her hand to cover her mouth, to stop herself from letting out a pained scream.

"She was fighting a girl with black hair..." Nova began, holding a now crying Ruby. "And... she lost. She's dead, Stella. I'm sorry."

Stella felt her body stiffen, as her eyes darted from Nova, who held a crying Ruby, to Jasper who was holding onto a sobbing Myx.

"No.... No this can't be." Stella managed to choke out, as tears filled her eyes. The girl broke down into a sob, and let out a pained scream as the best thing that'd happened to her was gone.

Pyrrha was gone.

The pinkette sobbed, unable to focus on anything else but the pain she felt inside... she ignored the people calling out to her which fell on deaf ears, or the heat she felt in her fingertips from her semblance being partially activated by her emotions.

She felt truly alone and heartbroken.

After a few minutes of sobbing, she found herself sitting on the step to the fireplace, beside a charred Christmas tree.

Her blue eyes eventually trailed a small box, which Pyrrha had held what felt like only moments ago. The wrapping paper had been burnt off, but the box still remained intact.

Trembling, she reached out her hand to take the box. Her fingers wrapped around the box, before she pulled the present into her lap.

She held it in her hands for several minutes, knowing that once she opened it, it would be the last surprise she'd ever receive from Pyrrha.

Eventually, she opened the box, to reveal a golden locket, in the shape of a love heart. Reluctantly, she opened the locket up, and felt her heart clench at what was inside.

One one side of the locket, was a picture of Pyrrha and Stella, taken in a photobooth in Beacon. Pyrrha had her arms around the shorter girl, as she kissed her cheek. On the other side of the locket were the words, "Always and forever."

Stella wiped away her tears, which only made room for more. She clutched the locket to her chest, as she cried.

"I will love you... always and forever..." The Valentine thought, remembering Pyrrha's recent words to her.
