It all began in the year 2319. Astronomers from Earth had begun to find habitable planets in their galaxy, and set out to colonize them. By the end of the year 2478, all habitable planets who were far enough from any life threatening anomalies were home to humans. In the year 2512, the Andromeda galaxy was detected to have habitable planets.

However, these planets were already home to a new, humanoid species.These people were called 'Andromedans'. The Normans, as the people of the Milky Way were called, made treaties with the Andromedans, and received permission to colonize. Each planet was named, and introduced to Democratic governmental system.  

But one planet refused to be colonized by the Normans. The planet was called Cytros. Their people were known throughout the galaxy for being fierce warriors. The planet was ruled by the Xios family. They ruled the planet wisely, and their people never felt any need to overthrow them. But that soon changed. 

In the year 2516, the Normans began sending spies to Cytros. They were planning on influencing their people to revolt against the Xios family. When the planet was on the brink of a civil war, the Normans swooped in, and took control of the planet. The Xios family was captured, and offered a deal. 

They would be allowed to rule their planet, but under Norman laws. The then king and head of the Xios family, Maxim Xios, refused to fold beneath them. The Normans were desperate to take control of Cytros, so they decided to kill the Xios. When Maxim learned of this, he decided to hide his wife and son among the common folk.

Maxim and the rest of his family were executed, but his wife and son were saved. They continued the Xios family, always maintaining their true origins a secret. The Xios family continued growing. But in the year 2714, the Normans ruling Cytros discovered the Xios were still alive. They hunted the Xios descendants down, until there were no more found.They were certain of their victory over the Xios. 

But one descendant remained. 

Alive, and living in the planet's capitol without being aware of her ancestry.
