As you already know, Overlord is one who rules Continent of Four and has word in any choice the Continent has to make. Of course, with gfeat power comes great responcibility. The Overlord's job is to unite nations when needed against the savages of Outter Lands, civilisations must be protected.

Legends speak of courage of Overlords who stood before. Some banishing the savages away from lands, some burning blood witches all across the country... and some taking heads of all rulers and throwing world in anarchy as never seen before before watching the land as if it was a play played by bards in local tavern.

It doesn't matter how powerful and good you are if you let yourself fall to a traitor and a player you will lose the game for the ultimate position, becoming Overlord.

How does one become Overlord?

Overlord regins until the end of their life and no earthly force can shorten their regin. That's why the Creator has created a way to choose who is the witties and strongest one, worthy of the title.

Each of the noble houses on Continent of Four holds their unique sigil. It may be shown on their clothes as decoration or on their banners but the true one of coated in gold and kept in their family castles, or around necks of the leaders of the house.

To become Overlord one must gather up all 11 Sigils available in the kingdom and present them before Angel Tower located on an island inside of Crystal Lake in the middle of the Continent. There, they say the Oath to be the blade that brings all other weapons in line and the smith who sharpens edges to defend the civilisation from savages. Once that is done, Creator itself crowns Overlord before all Gods who witness the crowning. God(s) in whose name the new Overlord fought then start new era for the world.

If Ancient God wins, winter embraced the land. Not all people freeze to death but temperatures drop, even in the South.

If Mighty Five win the world enters era of blooming nature and even West is filled with new life.

If God of Light wins, light shines over the world while shadows watch out for those who step into darkness.

If Black God wins, era of death for nature steps in place. As if poisoned, trees grow smaller and crops don't do as well as they should. Sun is to be seen rarely and dark clouds embrace the country like they do in the West.

If Drowned God wins, seas shall rise and flod lower land and fields so one is prisoned on their small island unless they have a ship.

After the Overlord is chosen, the sigils are returned to their original owners. Last time they have been returned a long time ago.

Now the last Overlord has fallen.

His dead body was burried in crypt below Angel Tower.
