The world was created by The Creator, a mythical being followed and praised by all nations and tribes, independant of their gods and tribals. They are said to rule above space and time and while they for most parts don't actively interfere with humans and their actions like Gods do, they are responcible for some events of the world.

The Gods watch over the land and can grant their followers strength and courage. Each nation has their own beliefs and people choose God they will follow and just like that when time for choosing Overlord comes, depending on whose follower wins, that God gets most power and their era of power begins. Each god also chooses their Champion who is gifted with a fraction of their powers and sent to fight in their name. Those people are incredibly religious and powerful although even Champions fall when war comes.

Out continent is ruled by the Overlord and it is separated in 4 Regions or Kingdoms, each ruled by a royal. The four kingdoms are very different and independant of each other but all must follow the same Overlord. Gods have acces and power above all the land but Angelic Palace on an island inside of Crystal Lake. That palace is holy domain from where Overlord watches the land and is like the Creator's temple.

It is worth noting that Creator is not a good being which looks forward to peace and well handled matters of the land. Creator is a neutral being, like force of life and death. It is parently figure to everything, to war and peace, to sorrow and joy, to fire and ice.

There are lands away from our continent and the four regions but those lands are ruled by savages and hostility. Luckily for us, none dares crossing the seas separating them from lands of civilised men. There no moral laws exist and the only rule is survival of the fittest.

That's why we stay in out homeland, Erathia - the land of four.

The Four is name for four ancestors that wiped savages out of the continent and made their families - or noble houses, and their peasants thrive.
Their kingdoms are named by the side of the world where they are located. Kingdoms of North, East, South and West, each has grown differently with its unique strengths and weaknesses but more about it, you will know later.

By the way, there one more thing you should know. We're in middle ages. I have nothing against LGBTQ+ and I look forward to seeing it here but for a noble man to love another man isn't really a normal and widely accepted thing. One could lose his honor for that as well as head. Feel free to f*ck whoever you want but try to hide anything one would think of as bad unless you know how and can make people keep their mouth shut.
