Chapter 1

Izuku's POV

At lunch I had decided to stay behind at class. Iida had pestered me to get some food, I promised I would be down with them in 20 minutes.

Iida agreed, but properly made sure that I would eat something. He said he would buy my lunch for me.

I feel bad for it. I will have to pay him back soon. Uraraka and I had said our temporary goodbye, right now I was working on transferring my notes from my old notebook into a newer version after ripping the All Might signature page and sticking it to the first page. I had finished last night but decided to add another hero.

Hero Analysis : Eraserhead.

Place of work : His place of work takes place in the underground community. This may show that he has a very dissociative personality or wants no attention in the eye of the media. Such behaviour shows he is more about saving people than money or the spotlight. It could also show he doesn't work well with other people. It is more likely to be due to hating the spotlight.

Quirk : Erasure : Allows the user to erase a persons quirk with the use of their eye, or mainly the retina, maybe pupil. Which may be a reason it can only work on one person with direct eye contact or why the pupil turns red.

Weaknesses : Weaknesses for his quirk is quite obvious, it could easily include dry eye, limited effect on people (can only do a person at a time.) From studying more into his fights it is possible his quirk cannot erase mutation quirks, like Tokoyami.

Strengths : He uses a capture weapon made of carbon fibres and a special metal alloy. There's a chance this alloy could be nitinol, because of its flexibility and ability to retain its original design. It's a strong alloy that could be strong enough to restrain someone. He has goggles to confuse people from his line of sight. Helpful when fighting big groups of villains.

Extra : His hair and capture gear seem to defy gravity. It could be an effect of his quirk, as an extension his hair rides up for him to get a greater view of his opponent, without his hair up, Eraserhead's view can be broken. He may not be able to see his opponents. However it could also be possible that his genes include a minor gravity quirk perhaps dormant or just lightly linked to his quirk or family. Or his quirk somehow erases gravity.

Summary : His strengths mostly rely on his support gear, without them he is —

The 20 minute timer I had set on my phone rang. I quickly stuffed my notebook into my bag, rushing towards the cafeteria.

Iida and Uraraka were waiting for me for the remaining lunch period.

Aizawa's POV

I silently walked through the halls, where I could hear countless laughter or shouting from students. I sighed sipping the coffee I was thankful that I had made.

'Perhaps now is a good time to nap...'

Suddenly a green blur flew through the halls, their bag seemed to be open and as they ran I saw a small book fling through the air. I bent down to grab it, when I looked up the student was gone.

Hero Analysis For The Future #13

By Midoriya Izuku.

I sighed when I read the problem child's name, I hastily placed it in my arms.

'I'll give it him tomorrow'

I soon decided to return to the staff room.

Authors POV

"YYYYEAAAHHHHHH"

Aizawa openly groaned at the loud noise tossing the book on the table next to him.

"Hmm... Aizawa what's that?"

The underground hero stared at the principle for a moment before sighing.

"It's Midoriya's analysis book."

Nezu hummed before grabbing it. He mouse-like creature flicked through the book.

'Such detailed notes...' he thought.

"Aizawa I am going to take this for a while. I will give it to Midoriya personally..."

Aizawa just stared for a moment before nodding and walking off towards the coffee machine.

Izuku quietly walked into his house. As he was about to call to his mother, there was a quiet chatter coming from inside. He stopped slowly to listen only catching snippets of the hushed conversation.

"Dormant quirk... rare.... tell him."

Izuku stopped at the voice of his cousin. He was now intrigued and gently placed his head against the door.

"Auntie, if you don't tell him now he'll get angry"

Angry? Why would he be angry?

"My baby won't get angry at me." His mother snapped.

"It's wrong to hide something he was robbed of auntie, I know the feeling."

"If I tell him he'll use it! We don't know anything about the quirk!"

Who was him?

"So!? He is going to be a hero, he needs all the benefits auntie!"

"Don't you dare take that tone with me" His mother snapped.
"I am not going to tell him"

"Well you'll have to considering the fact that he's been listening to us this entire time!"

Pure silence.

Izuku paused. He was what they were talking about?

"Izuku?...."

He quickly opened the door and stared at them.

"Hello mom..."

Itsuki winced before sighing.

Into stared at him before nodding defeatedly.

"This is awkward..." Itsuki murmured.

"W-what are you two talking about?"

"Izuku, sit down honey"

He nodded stunned.

Once he was on the couch, his cousin stared at him.

"Izuku you have a quirk"

"Of course I do—"

"Not that one!"

And yet again they were thrown into more awkward silence.

"Izuku, remember the check ups I've been giving you ever since the doctors refused to check up on you because of your quirkless nature?"

He got a slow nod in response.

"Well... I found out on previous records that your quirkless nature was based solely on a toe joint. A freaking toe joint. A myth. Which I why your mother went to court when you were 5"

"I soon preformed a genetic test on you... You had a dormant quirk."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"Dormant quirks have a high chance of never activating. Your mother didn't want to give you false hope... But it seems it activated... a little over a month ago actually..."

There was a moment of silence. One that heavily weighed down on Izuku's shoulders.

He had a quirk. After all these years of suffering and pain he had a quirk.

After all the suffering.

After all the pain.

After all the unneeded hurt, the unneeded gesture 'you'll never be good enough' just to learn he was good enough.

He endured it all the taunts, the pain.

Only to find out he had a quirk.

"I have a quirk..." he choked.

"Izuku honey. I know it's shocking— but please understand—"

"Understand WHAT? I have a QUIRK? Is EVERYTHING FINE now?" Izuku stopped to breath as tears flooded down his cheeks.

His own family had lied to him.

"You should have told me mom... I'm not angry... I'm .... dissappointed."

Inko's eyes widened, that was worse.

Itsuki gave her a look as if begging her to leave. She gently turned and made her way upstairs, contemplating her choices in regards to her sons first quirk.

Itsuki turned towards his hurt cousin before gently pulling him into a hug, one Izuku didn't struggle from.

After a few minutes Izuku had calmed down.

"Why didn't you..."

"I tried I really did try. I'm sorry I should've told you myself." He mused.

Izuku nodded. Before gently getting up to leave.

"Where are you going?" Itsuki whispered.

"To my... room"

Itsuki nodded but quickly grabbed Izuku's attention

"Izuku... can you forgive us?"

Izuku stared at his feet for a moment. Seconds seemed to pass but, slowly antagonising both the boys. Until Izuku spoke.

"I don't know... if I can. It's so much to take in..." Itsuki's heart deflated a little,

"But I'll try."

Itsuki nodded as he watched Izuku retreat to his room.
