~(Y/n)'s POV~

               。《•°☆☆☆°•》。

You drive into town and find a free parking spot right at the front of the Cafe you work at. You have been trying your best to keep up with the payments at work.

It's been hard to keep a low profile when you had this job. Thankfully Paris Texas was small so no one took notice in you. You enter the Café and get to work behind the counter and began to take orders from costumers.

Your shift was very slow. Not many people showed up. It was mostly elderly couples and middle aged people. A few truckers had came in a few times for their daily load of caffeine while others came in just for the measly wifi which was super slow.

You spent the rest of your shift cleaning tables and sweeping the floors, collecting dishes and taking orders. You didn't mind the cleaning, yes it gets annoying when you'd have to clean up after the sloppy ones but overall you enjoyed it.

You were currently taking the orders of a bunch of young teenage boys who clearly checking you out and doing cat calls at you. You felt your stomach go into knots as you noticed one of the boys creepily stare at your chest and roam over your waist.

"My eyes are up here you creep." You spat acidly as he only smirked at you. As he only laughed in reply, clearly unfazed by your little sneer.

"Oh, kitten has claws." One of the boys said as you clenched your jaw. "This kitten also knows how to use a knife." You spat as they all smirked and continued to eye you up and down.

"How about, after your shift you and the rest of us go have some fun?" One of the guy's said as your eyes widened for a moment before you clenched your hands into fists.

"I have a boyfriend." You spat as one of the guy's licked his lip as he leaned closer towards you, catching a loose lock of (h/c) hair with his index finger.

"Oh do you now? And where is he now?" The creep asked as you worked down a swallow. Optimus...

He looked at your now pained expression as he nodded. "Clearly he's not in the picture, I mean why walk away from a girl like you. That mouth of yours must've done wonders." The guy said finally snapping you out for thought.

You instantly pulled away from him and turned around, grabbing the semi-filled chocolate shake that one of the waiters has gathered from empty tables and dumped it all on his head.

"Fuck you!" You spat as you quickly spun around and stormed off back to the kitchen. The tears were threatening to form now as you quickly informed your coworker of what had went down and the boys were kicked out.

At this point you felt sick to the stomach. The only thing you could think about was Optimus. You missed him so much. You loved him. You still do and nothing would change that.

He's gone (Y/n). He's gone.

You didn't want to believe that he was dead. Part of you still wished he was alive or that he was gone away for a mission and he'd come back to you.

But lately you haven't felt that part of you in a while. Tears rolled down your cheeks which you quickly wiped away. Breathe (Y/n), lets just get through one shift. You encouraged to yourself but sadly that didn't work.

"(Y/n), maybe it's best if you go home." Your boss said who instantly took notice of your emotional state. "Hm? What no I'm okay (B/n), those boys just-"

"It's alright (Y/n)." Your boss said with a soft smile as you worked down a swallow and nodded. "Thank you." You replied as you forced a smile before gathering your things and exiting the café.

You head to Cade's truck and started up the engine before pulling out of the parking spot and drove home.

~Back at home~

By the time you had gotten home the sun was setting in was about 7pm close to 8pm. The sky was lit in a orange like red colour with a touch pink.

As you pulled in you see Tessa and her father bickering again.  "And yes, you can go out with your friends for a ride." Cade said softly as she smiled, kissing his cheek.

"Thank you, don't stay up too late and don't forget to eat dinner!" Tessa said as she walked away from Cade and to the gravel driveway were her friends had just pulled in.

"Hey (Y/n), you're back home early." Tess said as you shrugged your shoulders. "Something came up is all." You replied as she nodded, "be safe okay?" You added on as she smiled, giving you a hug before joining up with her friends.

"I made dinner! I didn't know when you were coming home so it's in the fridge." Tessa exclaimed as you nodded, "I'll be sure to eat. Thank you."

You smiled and waved good-bye as they made a quick u-turn and drove down the long driveway. Once they were out of sight you walked over to Cade who looked more than defeated.

"She'll be okay."

"She's my little girl."

"And She always will be. That will never change. But you just have to let her breathe." You replied as you rested a hand on his shoulder.

He looked over at you and forced a smile before sighing. "You should probably head inside and eat."

"You should too." You replied as Cade smiled, "my dinner is in the barn. I promise I won't stay up late." Cade ensured as you laughed softly before pecking his cheek with a soft but quick kiss.

"Okay, don't do anything stupid." You informed as he chuckled, "I'll try not to. Good night (Y/n)."

"Good night Cade."

With that being said and done you head inside, not bothering to eat anything because you were hungry. You didn't feel like eating, especially with your stomach all in knots.

You head upstairs to your room where you undressed, tossing your clothes to the side and pulled on a pair of cotton shorts and a loose white t-shirt. You brushed your teeth and washed your face and lastly kept your hair (up/down) and headed to bed.

You take in a deep breath as you switched off your lamp and got into bed, pulling the covers over your body and closed your eyes even if sleep didn't come to you fast all you wanted to do was close your eyes and block the rest of the world out

Optimus if you are alive and can hear me...

I just want to say that I miss you...

And I love you..

Yeah I know I haven't update since forever like the last post I did was in March! Like holy scrap!🤮
I was STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL AROUNS THAT TIME! To give y'all an update I graduated high school in October of this year cuz the school wanted to do it later in the year... I know it's dumb..

In college at the moment. I stared back in September. I'm in Orangeville Humber. And I'm studying for ECE but I might drop out for second semester or next year depending on how my grades are..
Semester 1 is almost over so I have my finales coming up and I'm drowning in assignments as of right now so I'm having a great life.
