Both you and Cade came up with a plan to break into one of the trains that were parked in the train station. "Dad, I'm tired of running and stealing." Tessa said with a defeated sigh.

With a loud grunt, Cade opened the door revealing the luxury lounge area. "A place to sleep." He said, looking back at Tessa with a faint smile. "Yeah. Just another break-in." Shane grumbled just as you turned to glare at him.

"Get in and rest up. We're gonna need it." You exclaimed with a sigh as you let them get in the train first.

"Oh look at this jackpot!" Shane said as he found snacks and drinks that was in the small fridge of the lounge area. Cade noticed as you awkwardly stood by the entrance of the train.

"Hey you coming in?"

You bite the inside of your cheek as you shook your head. The news that was given to you today still freaked you out. It made you sick to your stomach at the thought of the Autobots leaving earth.

Why is Optimus talking about leaving? He never told me about that... Tears weld in your eyes at the thought of being left behind. Of course you wouldn't be able to go with them. You are a human after all.

"(Y/n)? What's going on?" Cade asked as he rested a hand on your shoulder. "I...I don't know if I can handle loosing him again." You barely managed out as the tears finally rolled down your cheeks.

"I can't loose Optimus again, Cade. I can't." You repeated as he pulled you into a tight hug. You begin to burst into tears as you wrap your arms around Cade.

You hated feeling like this. Feeling helpless and afraid...you lived for five years thinking Optimus was dead. Now that you had him back you were going to loose him all over again.

You were beyond terrified about the new war that was soon to come. From the past battles you had face you lost so much. You couldn't bare to even think about the outcomes of this battle.

The fear of loosing anyone else you cared about made you nauseous. What if I don't survive this one. What if I'm the one who dies?

Once you and Cade broke the hug, he gently cupped your face in his hands. "(Y/n) look at me, okay? Optimus isn't going anywhere. He's gonna stay and he's gonna help us fight. Just like he always did."

You forced a smile and nodded. "You should get some rest, I'm going to check in with the bots."

Cade nodded as he stepped back into the train as you went to search for Optimus. The rest of the Autobot team was simply gathered around each other. While Optimus kept his distance from the team, clearly lot in thought.

"Optimus?"

It took him a moment to finally look down at you. "You doing okay?" You asked as he nodded, in kneels down in front of you as you gently rest your hands on his cheek plate.

"You don't look okay, my love. I know you're upset..."

"I fear for the worst (Y/n)...with Megatron's return and his ambition to build a new army I fear that this could be the end."

"Optimus..."

"I don't want to loose you.." He added on, a servo extended towards you as he used a digit to ever so delicately caress your cheek. Tears weld in your eyes as you leaned against his touch.

"I don't want to loose you either."

After a long moment of silence, you blinked away the tears and looked up at him; dreading to hear the answer to your next question.

"Did you really mean it when you said you were done? That you're going to leave earth?" You forced out, your heart now racing.

He turned his gaze away from yours, his optics ridges furrowed and a frown formed on his lip plates.

"Optimus?" You pressed, urgency laced within your tone. "I...I don't know...we've been hunted by humans for so long (Y/n). I have done so much for earth, lost so many friends along the way..." Optimus said triedly. His blue optics were filled with pain, angry and sadness.

To this day he still blames himself for Sam's death along side his partner Carly. There are times when he even blames himself for when you have gotten hurt while under his protection. It made him simply want to go offline.

Optimus loves you dearly and would go beyond the end of the earth if that means you'd be safe from harm. "I know..." you forced out as he sighed heavily. "What about us?" You asked, your throat felt tight as he looked up at him.

"I don't want to leave you (Y/n). You mean everything to me."

"But?"

Optimus looked down at you. He transformed into his alt mode and activated his holoform. "What's wrong? You're holding something back." You said as he sat down on a stack of metal beams, his eyes glued to the ground, his shoulder sagged in defeat.

"Optimus..." you pressed on, fitting yourself between his legs. Instantly his hands rest on your waist as you gently cupped his face with your hands.

"When I was taken to Lockdown's ship he told me things that made me want to rip his fragging spark out." Optimus said with a faint growl, "he mentioned how mixing our kind with humans upset the cosmic balance." He added on as you looked down at him with wide eyes.

"He threatened to hurt you." He forced out breaking the long silence between you as he pressed his face at the nape of your neck. He wrapped his arms around your waist, holding you as tightly as he could.

He never felt this scared before in his entire life. Losing you would send him over the edge of creating mass destruction. "What does Lockdown want from you?" You asked softly, your fingers running this hair which helped him relax.

"Lockdown was sent from my creators to come collect me."

"Creators...like your parents?"

Optimus shook his head, "from what Lockdown had said was that I was never born. I was built." He replied as you nodded slowly. "And they want you back because of us? Because of me?"

He didn't answer this time which made your heart sink. "No human has ever sparkbonded with a Cybertronian. We only were to be with our own kind. What we have is forbidden." He exclaimed as he pulled away from your neck and held your face in his hands.

You gently rested your hands over his and leaned into his touch. "Have you ever..." you trailed off as he nodded, a small frown framing his lips.

"Yes. Her name was Eilta-One. But she had been killed during the war of Cybertronian. Before me and the Autobots came to earth."

"I'm sorry.."

Optimus shook his head sadly, "nothing to be apologize for...she was a great warrior. We fought side by side, things like this happen. Things that we cannot control. I swore I would never love another but then you came along and my perspective changed."

Tears weld in your eyes as he smiled softly, "I don't care what everyone else says (Y/n) I love you. My spark beats only for you. I don't care that you are not a Cybertronian like me. I don't care if our relationship upsets the balance. I'm never going to stop loving and protecting you. Even if it kills me."

Before you could burst into tears Optimus pulls you into a tight hug, holding you as you begin to cry into his shirt. "I love you so much Optimus." You said inbetween sobs as he rubbed your back, closing his eyes as he held you.

After a long heart felt moment between the both of you, Optimus pulls away and looked down at you, resting a hand on your cheek as he leaned down to kiss you. You pull him close and kiss him back. You knew that he didn't have much of a choice to leave earth if it comes to it.

But where would that leave you? You knew you wouldn't fall in love with anyone else unless it was him. He has been the only one to ever love you throughout your highs and lows. It was him who made you feel cared for and loved. Without him who knows where you'd be right now.

Optimus left a trail of kisses on your face, your forehead, cheeks, lips and neck as he massaged your hips with his large hands. You and Optimus craved intimate moments like this. Sometimes its all that you both needed to simply just relax.

"We've intercepted the encrypted communications. Joshua Joyce is headed to his factory in Guangzhou, China." Drift exclaimed as he lowered his digits from his audio receptor.

Cade had regrouped with the Autobots. Both you and Optimus finally joined the group once again and smiled over at you. "Want to help me make a call?"

Within a few rings the prick answers on his end of the line. "Hey big shot, you're company is in serious trouble." Cade said as his grit his teeth, he was just as furious as you were.

"You better have a good lawyer Mr. Yeager."

You rolled your eyes as you injected, "Oh really? You better have a great one 'cause you're about to be responsible for the annihilation of a city."

"Now you listen to me. Your tech has been hacked. Your prototypes are infected. And now Galvatron is after that Seed. Look I know you have a conscience because you're an inventor, like me, do not let Galavtron near that seed." Cade exclaimed as he put the call on speaker.

"I control Galavtron, I created him." Joshua replied as you scoffed, crossing your arms over your chest. "Deep down, I know you know.." Cade said as you smiled, "..your prototype has been controlling you." You finished, grabbing the phone and throwing on the ground before stomping on with it with your foot.

"How fast can that thing get us halfway around the world?" Cade asked Drift as he played with his sword. "Very, it's a spaceship." He replied as you look out into the distance to see a helicopter.

"Looks like the cops found us." Swiftdagger growled out, rolling her red optics in annoyance. She turned her gaze towards the tree line where both Tessa and Shane were watching as multiple police cruisers came into view; speeding on the dirt road towards the tracks.

"Come on." She directed as she lead both you and Cade to the young couple. Hound following close behind just in case. "If we're traveling, now's the time." Hound suggested looking down to Swiftdagger as both him and Bee stayed back as the three of you approached Tessa and Shane.

"All I want is to have our life back. It's your call. Whatever you want." Cade said as Tessa continued to watch the cops getting closer.

"Are we safer on our own, or we are safer with them?" Cade asked as the police cruisers lights flashed brightly and their sirens blaring loudly.

Tessa turned to look at Swiftdagger. Surprisingly the both of them seemed have a bonded pretty face given the little amount of time they have interacted with one another. Surprisingly they bonded a lot faster than you and Tessa have.

"Look kid..." she transformed into her human form. "I know what it's like to have your life taken from you and dragged into something unexpectedly.  Trust me I know. Things are a little scary right now but I promise you everything will be okay." She reassured, resting a hand on her shoulder.

"I've known these bots for eons Tess. They'll make it right. I can't promise that things will entirely go back to normal but we'll be okay." You said, looking at both Shane and Tessa.

Tessa took in a deep breath, smiling over at you and Swiftdagger before stepping back and heading towards the ship. You sighed with relief as both you and Cade shared a small smile of relief.

"She's a keeper, must take after her mom." Shane said as he started to follow Tessa. "I can't argue with that kid." Cade mumbled as you and Swiftdagger followed them towards the ship.

"You and Tessa seem pretty close." You said as she nodded, transforming back to her normal self. "She reminds me of my younger self. She's a good kid." She said softly looking over at you. "And I promised I'd keep her safe, just like what I promised you."

"You still are my guardian Swift. Nothing will change that."

You both shared a faint laugh as you both aboard the ship. "Move! We're retrieving the Seed, but then we're done defending the humans." Optimus informed, Swiftdagger joined her sparkmate, as you walked next to Cade as Crosshairs walked behind.

"Done? What do you mean done?" Cade asked as he jogged up the ramp of the ship, Shane jogging right next to him.

"It means finished, see ya, bye!" Crosshairs replied as Cade looked at you. "Did you know about this?" He asked as you sighed, "I wish I didn't..." you mumbled as Cade sighed, "I'm sorry, (Y/n)..."

"We'll figure it out Cade..." you said as you tried to not only reassure Cade but yourself as well. It was scary to think about no longer seeing the Autobots but you trust that Optimus knows what he's doing. He is your sparkmate after all and even if he does chose to leave, you'll do your best to support him no matter what.

Shane and Tessa were huddled together, sitting in the curve of one of the windows of the ship, getting the perfect view of the scenery below us.

You were sitting next to Cade as Optimus sat just inches away from the both of you. "When you said you were done fighting for the humans, you didn't mean that, did you?" Cade asked as Prime became tense.

"How many more of my kind must be sacrificed to atone your mistakes?" Prime spat as he stood up, from where he was sitting.

"Well what do you think being human means? That's what we do. We make mistakes. And sometimes out of those mistakes, are the most amazing things." Cade exclaimed as both you and Optimus locked eyes for a moment.

"You know when I fixed you, it was for a reward. That was it. That was why. For money. And it was me making a mistake. Without it, you wouldn't be here." Cade added on softly as Optimus looked at him before looking away once again.

"So even if you got no faith in us, I'm asking you to do what I do. I'm asking you to look at all the junk and see the treasure." Cade said softly, looking up at Optimus once again.

"We located the baldy." Hound informed as you and Cade ran over to Hound. "Where is he?" Cade asked as Crosshairs scoffed, "he's on the roof..."

"I can't believe we have to save his ass. Why don't we kill him and just take the damn Seed?" Swiftdagger grumbled out as you shot her a quick glare. "Oh come on, I'm just saying what everyone is thinking.."

"No! God damn it!" Joshua yelled out as Hound hovered the ship over the building and activated the ramp to open.

"Joshua!" Cade shouted, "hey baldy!" Hound shouted as Joshua waved us over. "Hey it's me! Hey!"

"Come bring it over let's go!" You shouted out as both you and Cade stood as close as you could near the edge of the ramp.

Bee took a knee as his one servo extended towards Tessa as she held onto his one metal digit. Tessa held onto Shane who kept watch just in case either you or Cade were to fall, and he was also incharge of holding onto Cade's gun.

"Hurry up, run!" Cade yelled as Joshua grunted, dragging the bag to the tip of the ramp.

"Let's go, move it!" Hound snapped as you and Cade including Joshua struggled to get the seed up and onto the ship.

Just before any of you were able to react, the robots that Joshua had created came into view. "FRAG! They found us!" Swiftdagger yelled out as one of the Bots known as Stinger shot three missiles towards you.

"We're hit! We're hit!" Hound yelled as Bee whirred, loosing his footing on the ramp. Tessa screamed as she fell off the ramp.

"Swiftdagger!" You cried out as the swaying of the ship caused her to loose her footing and fall backwards and further into the ship. Bee, Hound, Cade, Shane, you, and Tessa all fall off the ramp and onto the roof of the building.

"Optimus!" You cried out as you watched helplessly as the ship lost control. "Fuck!" Cade cursed out as the rest of you were stranded on the roof with the prototypes hot on your tail.

"Are they going to be okay?" Tessa asked urgently as Bee looked more that distraught at the fact his Sparkmate went down with the ship. "*bzzt* they'll be alright *bzzt*."

"Come on let's get out of here." Cade said as both him and Joshua grabbed the straps of the bag as you, Tessa and Shane followed behind them.

"I count ten below!" Hound shouted as you looked over the ledge of the roof. Your (e/c) eyes widened as you see all the prototypes roaring with anger as they began to climb up the buildings.

"I though you had one prototype get infected?" Cade snapped snapped at Joshua.

"Now he's got operational control of my other 50."

"Come on let's go." Cade demanded as he led the way once again. "I may have started the apocalypse but you brought your family. And that's on you, horrible parenting."

"I'm about one second away from knocking you out, taking the bomb and just leaving you here." Cade said as you scoffed, "I'll help you do it."

"Please do me a favour." He fired back as you glared over at him, "Cade might not but I sure as hell will."

"Optimus, Autobots, you alive?" Hound asked through the comlink as one of the prototype's managed to get on another roof just across from where you were.

"Come on, bitch!" Hound shouted out as he quickly shot it down.

"Duck!" You yelled out as a  missile headed your way, hitting the corner of the building spraying bricks everywhere.

"Come on!" Cade shouted as your team scrambled back onto their feet and ran, trying your best to dodge and escape the gun fire and missiles.

"Fuck!" You screamed as another missile was fired, whizzing in between both you and Shane and it hits the shed you just ran past.

Bumblebee quickly caught up behind you, shooting at yet another prototype that was firing at you from the rooftop of the building next to you.

"Evac! Evac! We're getting flagged!" Hound shouted as he fired more bullets before he shot two missiles down between the two buildings.

"We got company below!" He shouted as he leaped over to the next building, only to crash into it and getting himself stuck.

"My fat as is stuck! Bee, take the shot!" Hound shouted as Bee fired his cannons as he leaped over the building over and onto the next one over.

Both you and Cade managed to find the elevator. Cade cursed under his breath as he repeated them pressed the button to open the doors.

The elevator beeps, and the red metal doors of the elevator opened and you push everyone in. "Come on, hurry up!" You ordered, pushing Joshua in last.

Just as Cade was about to get in, four to seven shots from a hand gun was fired, nearly taking his head off. You all ducked and tried to shield yourselves as the bullets bounced off the metal of the elevators walls.

"Get down! Get down!" Cade shouted as you huddled all close together.

"Close the door! Close the door!" Cade shouted through the loud dings and bangs of the bullets hitting the metal. "It won't go! The door won't close!" Joshua shouted back as he pressed all the buttons on the key pad while Savoy was loading another mag into the handgun.

"It's too much weight, get back down to Bumblebee!" Cade yelled out as he scrambled 6o his feet and ran out of the elevator.

"DAD!" Tessa cried out as he ran out. "HEY! YOU WANT ME!" He shouted out as he took off, with Savoy chasing after him. Finally the elevator doors close and you and your team start going down.

"Hes going to be okay." Shane assured Tessa as she tightly held his hand. You turned to look at Joshua. "That fat prick that's with Savoy is going to expecting us on the ground floor. We need to get out now." You informed as he turned to look at you.

"How are you so sure?"

"Don't be an idiot." You sneered as you stood up and quickly pressed another floor button. "We'll use the stairs to make the rest of the way down to meet up with Bee."

The elevator dings, both Shane and Joshua held onto the seed as the four of you run out.

"Alien bomb! Alien bomb coming through!" Joshua yelled out as the four of you run down the narrow hallway.

"Clear the way! Clear the way," he turned to look at a mother and her children peering out their door, "hi kids!"

"Coming through! Ladies!" He yelled out as you come to hault as three old woman walk slowly down the hallway. "Excuse me! Excuse me, ladies! Excuse me! Oh my god how the fuck do you say "get the fuck out of the way" in Chinese?!" He yelled out as you smacked him upside the head.

You push through to the front and gently tap one of the old ladies shoulder. "Excuse me miss, me and my friends are trying to get through." You said calmly even though you were seconds away from bursting at the seams.

The old lady nodded as her and her friends moved out of the way. Joshua looked at you in shock as you rolled your eyes, "lets go! Come on!" You yelled at him as he quickly nodded and the four of you were on the move once again.

After many flights of stairs, the four of you manage to finally get outside to where Bee was waiting. "Bumblebee!" You called out as he quickly made his way over to you.

"*bzzt* you guys okay? *bzzt* where's Cade?"

"He ran off to get Savoy off our tails."

"Well where is he?!" Tessa cried out as you grabbed her shoulders, "Tessa breathe, your dad is going to be okay. I promise." You assured as you grabbed her hand as the both of you follow Joshua and Shane as you all take cover by the parking payment booth.

Meanwhile both Cade and Savoy were jumping from level to level of the apartment buildings.

"I'm coming for you!" Savoy shouted as he landed on the same metal panel just like Cade did and ran towards him,  crashing them both through the window.

They both fall over the bed and down onto the floor. Both men scrambled to their feet, Savoy grunted and grabbed a vase, smashed against the side of Cade's head.

Cade grunted as Savoy punched him across the face and then in the gut. Savoy then shoved him against the table, punching him against across the face.

Cade grunted, throwing a punch before grabbing him by his head and slamming Savoy against the book shelf. This was life or death and Cade wasn't planning on dying. Not today.

. . .

Savoy grunted grabbing yet another vase and smashed it across my head, I grunted; grabbing hold of him again, pushing him against a shelf. It breaks with ease and I shoved right against the stove.

As I tried to throw another punch he dodges and shoves me against the window, I was breathing heavy now. All I was seeing was red. He put his hands around my throat, cutting my airways. I grunted, grabbing hold of his face and shoving my thumb against his eye as I used my other hand to shove him backwards.

I grabbed hold of him and throw him down, smashing his through the coffee table. He quickly rolls over and gets back up. I take in a deep breath as I create some distance inbetween us.

I turned to ny left and eyed yhe football that sat on the tall and narrow teal painted shelf before quickly looking back at him. His eyes were full of rage as he got into another fighting stance.

"Never should've hidden that truck." He growled out between his gritted teeth.

"Should have never came after my family." I fired back, my hands clenched into fists as my heart was racing at rapid speeds.

"Tough luck Yeager. We all have family."

"Yeah but I'm going to live to see mine."

He clenched his jaw never taking his gaze off mine as he pulled out a large knife.

I spun around, grabbing the football, hitting him right at the face. He turned his head away as I ran forward, pushing him right out the window.

He let out a loud scream as he falls. I lean over, watching him fall to his death. I step away from the window, quickly apologizing to the family before running out of the apartment and down the hallway.

"Bee where's Tessa?!" I screamed out as soon as I caught my sights on him. Bee whirred before quickly pointing to her.

"Dad!" She cried out as I pull her into my arm for a tight embrace. "Cade!" (Y/n) cried out as (she/he/them) ran over to me, pulling me into a hug.

"You thought I died or something?" I asked as I looked down at (her/him/them) in disbelief. Given by (her/him/them) expression (Y/n) clearly didn't have much faith in me.

"Wow I am offended..."

Your POV:

"Lets forget about all that okay? Look I'm just glad your okay."

You both smile at each other just as Joshua calls out to that woman named Darcy who was from KSI who quickly joins your group.

"We got three more coming in from that way!" Shane said as he rejoined the group of well. All that could be heard was the sound of people screaming at the top of their lungs and everyone running in all sorts of directions. 

Joshua runs over to you and Cade, sighing heavily. "We got a real dilemma here. Okay? I created incredible robots." Joshua explained as he adjusted his glasses.

"It's all designed to kick that fat Transformer's ass! So, really, this is a no-win situation. It's over!" He exclaimed as Hound looked over at him and flicked his bullet cigar at him causing him to stumble forward towards Cade.

"That was mean."

"Hey! I'm sorry you can't handle the cold hearted truth!" Joshua spat, glaring up at the large mech, "shut the fuck up." You spat, glaring daggers at him.

Hound pressed two digits to the side of his helm where his communicator was. "Optimus, what are my orders for these humans? Can I squish the bald guy?"

After a long moment of silence you looked up at Hound we a small smile, "What did he say?" You asked, as he pouted in reply. "He said no."

Finally a new chapter! So sorry for how long its been taking me.
I haven't had much motivation to write but I promise I'll get this book done before the end of 2022 :)
