You wake up to Optimus gently kissing your lips. "(Y/n), you need to wake up." He said softly as you slowly opened your eyes to be greeted by your handsome boyfriend as a soft smile framed his lips.

"Good morning." You greeted as you gently kissed his lips. You looked down at yourself to see that he had covered you in a blanket during last night.

You smiled, a soft blush swept across your cheeks. He chuckled softly as he handed your clothing to you. You laughed softly in reply as you dropped the blanket from your body and began to get yourself dressed.

"I don't can't remember the last time we had done this." You said softly as you smiled at the faint memory of the many times you both had made love with each other or how you both had shared small moments just like these with each other.

"So do I." He said softly as he gently tucked a lock of your (light/dark) hair behind your ear before kissing your cheek.

"So are we ready to go?" You hear Cade asked as you finished getting dressed and hopped out of Optimus's alt mode and he transformed into his bipedal mode to inform with the other Bots of what was the plan was with Cade.

"So where did you two run off to?" You head Swiftdagger asked as you see her human form get out of Bee's alt mode just as he then transformed to join the other Bots.

"W-we just went for a drive." You rambled out. Your face growing warm as she only laughed in reply. "Primus you make it so obvious." She teased as you huffed, crossing your arms over your chest.

"So do you." You fired back with a glare as she only smiled, "of course I do. Bee likes to flex about it too." She replied as she smiled, "all jokes aside I'm glad to see you and Optimus back together." She said softly as you smiled and nodded in reply.

"Congratulations on repairing the bond." She added on as your smile widened. She only laughed, "god your beaming from ear to ear, I love it." She replied as she wrapped an arm around your shoulders, "glad to have you back (Y/n)." She said as Crosshair hollered over at the both of you.

"Aye, lets get goin'! We got a mission to do!" The green mech called out as the femme rolled her eyes. "Quit your hollering loser!" She fired back as you only laughed in reply as Optimus transformed into his alt mode and you join him inside his alt mode once again.

Thankfully Bee and Swiftdagger took both Cade, Tessa and Shane, allowing both you and Optimus to have your own little privacy.

Optimus of course took the lead while both Bee, Drift and Crosshairs drove right behind us. Off to Chicago...

Location: Chicago

"There's a full-on manhunt out for us, so we have some new rules. Anyone with a badge is not our friend. We're gonna divide and conquer." Cade explained as he looked at Shane, Tessa and towards you as well.

"You two are in charge of stealing food and essential and nothing more." Cade added on looking over at Tessa and Shane.

"I'd like to help to." You pitched in as Cade bit the inside of his cheek, "I don't know...it'll be a little too risky." He said as you pursed your lips into a thin line.

"I know but...I think it's best I go with them. Just in case." You pressed on as Cade sighed, "alright, just be careful." He said as both Tessa, Shane and you nodded in reply.

"Chicago KSI headquarters is like a fortresses. I'm gonna a find a way to get into their top-secret military wing. Find something to blackmail this company and the government, we're gonna get our freedom back." Cade exclaimed as the three of you got ready to go.

Crosshairs thankful agreed to come along to be the transportation for both you, Shane and Tessa. "Be careful..." Optimus said softly as you smiled over at your Sparkmate.

"I'll be okay Optimus. Don't worry." You ensured, gently kissing his cheek plate before joining Crosshairs, Tessa and Shane once again.

"Okay, you guys know the drill right?" You asked once Crosshairs drove out of the Bot's new hide out. They both nodded in reply as you took in a deep breath.

"Just be careful okay?" You said as Crosshairs pulls up to the first store. "Okay, now you both go in first. Don't act suspicious, I'll come in right after you. Cross, stay posted." You directed as you all filed out of his altmode and he went for cover.

Once you both enter the store, the three of you parted ways and you got straight to work.

You tried your best to grab whatever you could. A box of granola bars and other snacks. You couldn't help but feel as if you were being watched. The only fear you had was getting caught or being recognized by anyone.

You heard the alarms go off back at the front. Shit they're gonna get caught! You begin to pick up the pace as you make it back to the front and witness Shane and Tessa making a speed get away through the front doors.

Your eyes widened as you picked up the pace. Damn it! Damn it! Damn-you stop yourself for a moment, realizing that they security were going after someone else.

You sagged your shoulders and sighed deeply. God that was a close one... you worked down a hard swallow as you exit the store and meet up with the young couple who were already in Crosshairs altmode.

"Primus I thought you guy's got caught." You rambled out as you seated yourself in the driver's seat. "We almost did..." Tessa grumbled out as you sighed once again.

"Let's just try to to be more careful..." you mumbled out as Crosshairs pulled out of his parked position as drove off to the next store you were planing on stealing from.

Time Skip:

The three of you enter the hideout once again. "We're back!" You called out as both Bee, Drift and Cade turned to look at you three as Crosshairs followed shortly behind you.

Cade looked over at at Tessa, "hey, I found a whole bunch of boxs of clothes, so sweetie you can get some long pants, nice, loosing-fitting ones, and lose the the short shorts, okay?"

Tessa only rolled her eyes as you and the other met up with Cade at the table.

"So what did you all get?" Cade asked as Tessa and Shane empty out the bags on to the table. Tessa then sat down, placing the container of protein powder on the table. "It's protein."

"Look I said the essentials ok?" Cade said, looking over at Tessa in frustration. "Well it wasn't easy, we almost got caught." She replied as Cade looked over at you.

"Hey don't look at me, I did my best." You replied, dumping your load of items on the table.

Cade took in a deep breath, shaking his head before noticing the bottle of mouthwash. Oh no...

"You stole mouth wash?" He asked Shane as he looked over at him and back at his daughter.

"I like to be fresh when I'm making out with your daughter." He replied as he flashed her a smile as she giggled.

"That's funny."

Cade clenched his jaw looking at Shane and then Tessa before grabbing the bottle and chucked it across the room making you and Bee let out a snort of laughter.

Cade sits back down, glaring at Tessa and then at Shane. "Yeah that's not happening. Ever." He demanded as he then glared at Shane once more.

Tessa looked over at him and let out a small laugh and flashed a shy smile. "Ever?" She asked her father as he shot her another glare.

"I'm heading out with Prime, we got a few things we need to do." Cade said as you turned to look over at him.

"I'll come too." You replied as he sighed, "I need you to stay here and keep watch of..." he paused for a moment and glared towards his daughter.

"Oh no I'm not a babysitter." You snapped as you caught on to why he wanted you to stay here.

"I think it's better if you do stay here." Optimus said as he was in his hologram form.

Cade was surprised to see him as a human, in fact they all were but that was not the time to explain the whole scientific reasons behind it.

"What why?!"

"I'd rather you stay here so that I know you are safe." He replied; his (dark/light) (colour) eyes met yours. You understood the meaning of this request. He doesn't want to see you get hurt but he had to understand that you could handle things well on your own as well.

"Optimus I'll be fine. I can handle my own."

But he didn't budge. You could see the frustration in his eyes and more importantly the fact that he was worrying about you again.

You take in a deep breath, all you wanted was to come with but clearly he wasn't gonna budge. "I don't want to put you in harms way, and it would make me feel a lot better knowing that you are safer here than with me." He added on as you forced a nod, "alright fine I'll stay. Just be careful." You replied as you quickly kissed his cheek.

Yes you were mad but you weren't going to cause a scene or storm off; it wouldn't help the situation and hurting his feelings wasn't on your checklist of what to do today either.

A little while later...

"So what was all that?" Tessa asked as she plopped down on the couch next to you.

"What was what?"

"The whole human Optimus thing. How did he do that?"

"It's called a hologram." You replied as she nodded, "an old friend of ours...his name is Ratchet. He designed them for the Bots after they arrived here on earth." You added on to furthermore your explanation.

"Yeah, he made them so we could blend in with you humans." Swiftdagger pitched in as transformed into her human look.

"Wait but yours isn't-"

"A hologram? Yeah I'm pretty advanced." She replied as Tessa stared in awe.

"What else can you guys do as a human?"

"Basically anything a human can do. Well at least close to it." You pitched in as Swiftdagger smirked before transforming back to her cyberwolf self and stalked off back to were Bee was.

After a moment of silence Tessa spoke again. "So you and Optimus...it's crazy that you're well dating him but...how? And why?"

"We met way back when all this all first started. The Autobot's had come down to earth originally to find the Cube which was yes a giant cube that was used back in their home planet. It crash landed on earth many many years ago." You began as Tessa listened with her eyes growing wide.

"My friend...Sam..." you trailed off for a moment as the thought of your deceased friend brought a frown to your lips. Not a day goes by that you miss him dearly.

"Sam...is he.."

"He's dead...he died back in the battle of Chicago." You replied to Tessa comment as you sighed deeply before continuing on.

"Sam's great-great grandfather found Megatron deep in the ice of the arctic circle. He had crash landed when he was trying to grab the falling Cube. Then the stupid Decepticon leader imprinted the coordinates on his glasses. Which is why the Autobot's needed Sam's help and it continues on from there." You states as Tessa nodded, still a little lost in all this history.

"I'm sorry for the loss of your friend." She said softly as you nodded in thanks, "I miss him a lot..." you turned your gaze towards the yellow scout who was in his hologram with Swiftdagger.

"Bee was his guardian...Swift told me about all the crap he went through..." you added on with a sad frown. You couldn't even imagine what he must've gone through due to the loss of his good friend.

Everyone had lost someone close to them. Someone they loved..tears formed in your eyes as flashbacks from the battle in Chicago took place in your mind.

You only wished that you could turn back time and try to save those you loss but in the end it could never be done. You can't change the past and you hated it.

Before Tessa could ask anymore questions, Cade had come back from his little side mission with Optimus.

"Hey Bee can you scan this image to this?" Cade asked the young scout as he held out a plain white card and his little bug drone.

"This is how were gonna get in." Cade informed as he smiled proudly at his accomplishment.

Moments later Bee had hovered over Cade, using his optics for the scanning for the code and picture for us to be able to get in.

"Nice job Bee, that'll get us in." Cade praised as the card was finished getting printed. You decided to walk over and see the card. "That's pretty cool. But are you sure it's going to work?" You asked as Cade nodded, "of course it will, when has anything I ever made fail?" He asked as Tessa snorted out a laugh.

You bite back the smile as Cade sighed, rolling his eyes. "You're all a bunch of assholes." He grumbled as you finally laughed, "aw don't be like that Cade, we're only teasing!"

He grumbled a 'sure you are' before heading over to do some more finding with his drone.

Later that night...

Later that night Cade was running through the plan of what was to go down tomorrow morning when they sneak into the CSI Headquarters.

Once the plans and discussions were made it was time to rest up for the busy day tomorrow. You noticed how tired Optimus was. He may be good at hiding it from his team but not from you.

You turn your gaze as Cade was I mixing in some of the fibre powder with the water. You were confused at first him how his sudden mood turned so sour till you followed to where he was glaring at.

You fight back the laugh as you see I Tessa and Shane who were cuddling on the old couch.

"That's adorable..." you said softly as you watched the young couple. It reminded you of how close you and Prime were back in the day. The long cuddle sessions, or when he'd give you the best hugs...forehead kisses...so much came flooding back.

While it made you both happy and thankful for having someone like him in your life while also making you hot and flustered.

"Ahem! There is no smooching in front of me ok?" Cade snapped causing you to snap out of your thoughts.

You looked over at Cade who was glaring angrily at both his daughter and Shane. You swear you almost saw steal flaring out of his nose.

Tessa and Shane pulled away from each other as Tessa glared at her father, "you're so square, who even says smooching?" Tessa asked angrily while rolling her eyes.

"I tell you no respect. It just impossible sometimes." Cade said in defeat as he looked over at Optimus who had his arms crossed over his chest plate, leaning against the cement wall.

"Yeah I went through that with Bumblebee." He replied as you giggled, sneaking a peek at Bee who became flustered while Swiftdagger teased him for it.

Soon after everyone had went to bed and it was just you and Prime that was still awake.

"Optimus?" You asked softly as he turned to look at you. He was now in his hologram, you were in his arms, your hands rested gently on his chest.

"Yes Sweetspark?"

"Do you think it'll all end soon? Like the war and all this mess?" You asked sadly as your (e/c) eyes met his (dark/light) (colour) orbs that locked on yours.

"I..." he trailed for a moment and sighed, "I do not know...but I won't let anything happen to you." He informed as a soft smile framed his lips.

His large hand reaching out and gently caressing your cheek. "I'm not going anywhere. I'll be by your side always." He added on as you smiled, tears weld in your eyes as he leaned down and kissed your lips softly.

You missed moments like this. Moments where it was just the two of you. In each other's arms...where you felt so safe and secure. As if no one and nothing could hurt you.

"I love you." He said softly into the kiss and you smiled, pulling his close to you, "I love you more." You replied as he smiled, a hint of that he wanted more of you.

Hell you weren't gonna stop at just a kiss either. You both didn't use words to speak, just the touching and kisses alone were enough for you and him to understand of what you both wanted.

Soon after you both had entered his altmode, and hunkered down for the night.

My god I'm so sorry for not updating is so long!!! It's literally been since April since I last updated!
How was everyone's holidays? Anyone excited for 2021?
I just hope it'll be better than this year!

Sorry for not updating, I've been working full time and shit just hasn't been fun being at home. Like it has become ✨toxic✨
I'd get into detail but no one likes trauma❤️
Anyways I'll try to update more cause I have about 1 week left off work and than I'm back to working again so I'll see with how many books I can update during that time!
