Roles

Most of these roles will be gender neutral. Unless specified otherwise, go wild. Of course, if the balance leans too much in favor of one gender, I will stop accepting that gender.

Ignore the masculine names. I will be using the original names but that does not mean they have to be males. When you request a character, please tell me which gender you would have them as.

Robin Hood - Male - Reserved, spartan0372

Fox Shifter

The fearless outlaw of King John's court, he fights to uproot this martyr. He fights in the name of the true King Richard and is the leader of the Merry Men, though that term is a bit false. He is respectful of all genders and is hopelessly in love with Maid Marian, betrothed since before these events.

Maid Marian - Female - Taken

Fox Shifter

A spy in King John's court, she secretly relays information to Robin Hood, her one true love. Her best friend, The Handmaiden, is the only one on her side inside of the palace walls. King John - Male - Open

Lion Shifter

The usurper of the throne in hus brother's absence. The male hates Robin Hood and would like nothing better than his execution. Of course, he is smart and battle wise but would much rather not involve himself, personally in such affairs. He is a bit of a coward but spiteful and dangerously intelligent.

The Handmaiden - Female - Reserved, -OldDuskNewDawn-

Mouse Shifter

Due to her animal's small size, she is the chosen runner between Robin and Marian. Brave and quick, she often takes the path of least resistance but will turn if need be. She is faithful toward the renegade and harbours a deep hatred for King John, to be explained in direct messages.

Little John - Neutral - Taken

A secret lies under their fangs though that drives their anger deeper, to be learned in direct messaging.

Will Scarlett - Neutral - Reserved

Wolf Shifter

Another prized member or Robin Hood's Merry Men, this individual is quite possibly the best hunter. They can quickly avoid danger and has a keen sense of traps. They may also pick up on bad feelings that affect their jovial manner. Secrets hide beneath their coat that would explain this, to be discussed in direct messaging.

Gilbert Whitehand - Neutral - Taken

Neutral

The best sentry for Robin Hood, this character seems to know where every little flaw in camp is. They can find the smallest of gaps in towering walls or a minor crack in a wagon wheel. Oddly enough, this character is also respected due to the certain air of power they carry.

Arthur A Bland - Neutral - Open

Neutral

Possibly best known for their great strategy and witty conversation, this individual tends to hide information that they deem not necessary. Truly a bad habit but most of the time in turns out well enough. Perhaps one of the least decided characters, they are with the Merry Men but also protect themselves.

Alan A Dale - Neutral - Open

Neutral

Seeming to take it upon themselves, only they can create the art of Robin Hood. Often prone to overexaggerate a situation, they truly wish the best to dear friends. Maybe also one of the best ears to the outside world. No one suspects the wandering bard after all.

David of Doncaster - Neutral - Reserved, -OldDuskNewDawn-

Neutral

The very person responsible for keeping Robin Hood and his fellows in the loop. The owner of a tavern not far from the castle, they inform Robin of ongoing events and can be seen feigning soft smiles at King John. Despite the fact they dislike the usurper, they are smart enough to pretend otherwise, and of course, everything they know gets to Arthur A Bland.

Sir Guy Of Gisborne - Neutral - Open

Neutral

Another member of King John's inner courts, this individual harbours a deep, possibly deeper than the king's, for Robin. Call it childhood jealously and a bitter rage that grew. They are the guard to Maid Marian and can't get over the feeling she is a liar, which she is.

Much the Miller's Son - Neutral - Open

Will Stutely - Neutral - Open

Neutral

Another spy in Robin Hood's band, primarily on the Sheriff. Due to a proficiency at disguises and unnerving silence, they are excellent at their job. Of course, no one is flawless and this character in particular is quick to anger when seeing innocents being hurt.

Friar Tuck - Neutral - Open

Responsible for uplifting the spirits of the Merry Men, make no mistake. As quick to laugh and spark joy, this character is just as quick to draw a blade and go to battle. Heated tempers make this one person to tiptoe around, or purposely anger to go toe to toe with in the ring.
