¦¦Gladion¦¦
My clothes were all wet again, stupid Po-town. Always raining. It's awful, I hate it. I pushed past two grunts that blocked the entry way to the old house. I heard them chuckled, but I didn't bother looking back until one of them walked up behind me grabbing ahold of my wrist. I forcefully pulled away from them. My attitude towards them was more than amusing to them. "Someone's grumpy." One of them said. Their voice was raspy, it was like they scratched the insides of their throats with sand paper. "Why's that, Gladion?"
"It's none of your business." I proceeded to walk, only to be stopped again, but this time by a girl. Her pink eyes met my emerald green ones.
"Oh, but it is. See, Gladion, you may not be part of our team officially, but technically, we own you." She snickered in a taunting way.
A laugh slipped through my lips, "No one on this pathetic team owns me. No grunt owns me. If anyone does, it's Guzma."
Her eyes widened when I said that. Her face was molded into a mad one, her fists clenched up at her sides and the male grunt behind her laughed. Wonder how many grunts have wanted to do this to me since day one. I may not care about certain rules, but I wasn't going to go as far as harming a girl. The grunt stompped her way to me. She raised her balled up hand ready to swing. She did so and I quickly got out of her way. "Come on you wimp! Fight me!" She lunged foward missing again. She then kicked, unfortunately that would later leave a nasty bruise on my shin. I muffled a groan. I continued to leer back from the grunt who was throwing punches left and right. Her frantic swinging was subsided when a women shouted.
"Hey! What's your problem, grunt?" Plumeria hissed, putting pressure on one hip. Every grunt here was referred to as what they were, grunts. Excuses of trainers if you asked me. Only people like admins and such were referred to with their real name. The grunt was frozen in place as Plumeria bore a hole into her . The grunt was acting as if Plumeria was a Pokémon and use the move electric wave. "Well? Don't just stand there and give me a stupid face."
"S-sorry!" She backed away from me bowing her head in shame.
Plumeria rolled her eyes at the grunt pushing her out of her way. "Come on Gladion. Guzma's been waiting for you." She spun on her heel, now facing the grunt with horrible blue hair, "Keep these idiots in line, or else." Plumeria threatened him, continuing to walk with my following behind.
¦¦ Plumeria ¦¦
Guzma always wanted to see Gladion at the end of a week to pay him. He always did it. Guzma never really showed it, but he did actually care about Gladion. The main reason was because he was Lusamine's son, and Gladion wasn't someone to mess with. He had attitude and edge which Guzma liked. Gladion and I headed into the old three story house. Several grunts turned their head, turning their attention to Gladion. They stared at him with hatred filled-eyes. I shot glares at them forcing them to avert my gaze. I really hated them sometimes. They were complete bone heads. The reason the disliked him was because he got more attention from Guzma than they did. I could see why however. Gladion never cared for attention, especially from Guzma. Other grunts actually looked up to him, just as they looked up at Guzma and I. He E made out to way to Guzma's room. He entered. I stopped at the door. Guzma never got nor Gladion liked me entering. It was weird, but whatever. I slid down the wall, burying my face in my arms. A grunt looked down at me. I could feel his blue eyes peirce the back of my head. "You okay sis?" Sometimes these bone heads would call me 'sis' since we were all very close. Yeah, we had our moments where we hated one another, but that just came to show the brother-sister relationship we all shared–or most of us at least. I looked up at him.
"Yeah. Just tired." I kept my straight face, burying my face back in my arms. Minutes later Gladion came back out. I looked back up at him. He had that same old face he always wore. He always looked pissed. "Hey Gladion." He hummed back. "What's got you so pissed?"
"This is just my face." Gladion practically growled at me. Gladion was like this because of what happened to him in the past. He shut people out all the time. When we was a small kid, he was loving and caring.
"Look Gladion," I sighed, standing back up, "I know you don't want to work with us. Most of the grunts don't like you,"
"Yeah. Thanks for reminding me." He hissed.
"but you can trust me. I'm being serious Gladion. I'm not the kind of bitch to turn my back on you and betray your trust." I told him being genuine. I don't show it either, but I do care for Gladion. Not because Guzma does, but because he isn't like these stupid grunts. Every now and then me and him talk. I really feel like he's my brother sometimes.
Gladion sighed crossing his arms, "Fine... I'm just... tired. I'm fed up..?" By listening to the way he described his feelings, he didn't know why he was feeling it.
"With?"
"There's this annoying ass kid.. I'm sure he'll leave me alone I just–I don't know. And Guzma didn't give me as much as he always gave me."
"Why?"
"It's because I lost to some stupid trainer." He groaned looking down at the floor now.
I sighed. Oh Guzma. Why'd you do that to the kid? He feels bad enough as it is. "Whatever. Beginner's luck, right?"
"Sure."
"Let's go get some malasadas. My Pokémon are hungry and poke beans aren't good enough for my sweet babies." I told him slinging my arm around him. He nodded.
