Chapter Six
"You do realize bounty hunters don't usually show themselves, right?" Dan mumbled. Phil raised an eyebrow before rolling his eyes.
"Uhh..." He mumbled, before making gestures with his arms.
"I get it, you are one. I know, you've told me this a million times now. Specially since you followed me all the way home to make sure I was safe, Phil." Dan chuckled.
"You are kinda wanted, Dan. I'm not the only bounty hunter. It seems they want you because your dad is a child predator and it would attract him if they showed him his long lost son." Phil spoke, coughing on his drink.
"Well, yeah... I understand. I'm just not used to this. Phil, honestly... Are we friends?" Dan asked with a hopeful look. Phil looked at him being chuckling.
"Dan, I'm still learning the definition." Phil told him. Dan only did a small smile. He understood how Phil still didn't get the definition. So he wasn't going to get offended.
"I'll just have to teach you then, eh?" Dan smiled. Phil nodded, before the door swung open.
"Hi Dan, I got Chinese food because I know you loved it and I bought you some pastel sweaters and flower crowns! I had to, I was so tempted." His mother said, kissing Dan on the forehead casually walking past Phil, who leaned on the wall now. Phil stared at Dan amused, waiting for her to realize.
"Dan, there is a strange boy in our house. Why didn't you call the police?" His mother realized.
"Oh, mum remember. It's Phil!" Dan gestured to Phil to say hi, but Phil only stared at his drink with his eyes narrowed.
"Is that fruit? Oh, how cool. I didn't notice that." Phil said casually, he looked up to see Dan giving him a unamused face before pointing to his mother.
"Oh, hi." Phil replied, doing a light wave before staring back at his drink. Dan looked at his mother who stared at Phil in confusion.
"Err, hi? Dan, I like him." She said before walking away.
"That's nice!" Phil shouted randomly after her, earning a laugh from Dan.
I cried when I saw Dan carrying Phil smh.
