Our first date as official couples, i was afraid of the idea of a public date where everyone would start spreading words about us but i knew I was overthinking,

he was right people are going to know one way or the other, so as long as we are able to enjoy ourselves we are good!

"wait wait eat that churro, let me take a picture of you" Mason said mid conversation where we were laughing and talking about past Christmas parties, I squinted my eyes and bit into the churro as Mason took the picture.

He looked at his screen while smiling and a ping from my phone diverted my attention to it, masonmount: tagged you in a story.

I looked up from my phone to meet his joyus eyes as I smiled, I shifted closer to him and he placed his arms on my back as I leaned up to leave a sweet kiss on his lips.

We held hands and rode rides and had food till late at night, we went to his place after we spent our evening in Winter Wonderland and talked and exchanged kisses.

I was sitting next to mase with my legs draped over his thighs with my head on his chest as he raked his fingers through my hair while I drew circles on the palm of his hands on my lap.

"Yara?", "Hmm yes?" I asked "come over for dinner with my family on Christmas i want you to meet them" he said, I looked up at him with my eyes trying to comprehend what he said, "yeah? Are you sure you want me to meet them now?" I asked reassuringly, he nodded "yes I am sure, I like you a lot, besides my family would love to meet you"

I mumbled a 'ok' and and sat upright on his lap tangling my hands into his perfect hair and he trailed kisses down my neck.

"are you ready yet?" Mason asked while looking at me through the mirror of my bathroom as he sat on the ledge of the bathtub tying his shoe lace as I put my earrings on "yes i am, we can leave now but do you want a drink before we leave, I'm nervous" I said, he came close to me and said "don't be, everyone loves you darling" in a low voice tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, I nodded and he pressed a kiss on my forehead and took my hand in his and pulled us out of the bathroom.

On the way to dinner he kept on talking about summer his neice and how much he adores her, he was good with kids and loved them, he was a philanthropist, he put his money into charities and always helped the unfortunate, i adored that.

"we're here!" he announced with a smile on his face, clearly excited as he parked his car.

We got out and rang the doorbell, and Jasmine, Mason's sister opened the door with a huge smile and summer on her hip, "hi! Oh my it's so nice to meet you finally, Yara, come in!" she beamed and I gave her a hug.

We sat on the dinner table where Mason's brother and parents met us, "oh! Merry Christmas Mase and Yara" Mason's dad said walking over to us as Lewis Mason's brother shook my hand introducing himself, "Hi Mr. Mount, oh and Mrs. Mount" i said glancing over at the couple, "Hi darling! , Merry Christmas, It's so nice finally meet you Yara, Mase has told us so much about you" Mrs mount said as she hugged me, "oh haha that's nice, and if you don't mind I got presents for all of you on my behalf" I said handing Mrs mount a huge bag filled with smaller bags with name tags with everyone's individual gifts i got.

"That's is so sweet! And you can call me Deb" she said and I smiled.

We cuddled up by the fireplace in pairs of couple and talked about family orientation, "you seem really family oriented, that's good" Tony, Mason's dad said with a smile as he sipped his glass of champagne, Debbie, Mason's mom then neared me and whispered in my ear, "I'm glad Mason has found you, he loves kids and you seem like someone who does too, I ship you guys" she said and a smile creeped up on my face, she smiled and then got up grabbing Tony's hand,

"well, we'll head upstairs now and take some rest it's already almost 2 am" she said and left, Jasmine following them with the same reasoning.

We were left in the living room, cuddled up in the foot of the couch in front of the green Christmas tree that was decorated with white lights and ornaments.

"before I forget I got you a gift" Mason said our of the blue just as I was about to give him a kiss, "oh what is it?" I asked as we already had exchanged gifts earlier that day, he pulled out a ring box from his back pocket, the red box had Cartier written in gold, i looked at him with love and adoration shaking my head, he opened it and it was a gorgeous gold band with a diamond on it, "Mason you didn't have to-" I was about to say, "No i did cause I want this ring to be a memory of us" he said and slipped it on my finger grabbing my hand, he held my now ringed right hand in his hand and then kissed me, "let's go to my place tonight yeah? , you can sleep over" he said and I knew i wanted to too, he stood up and grabbed my hand and walked towards the foyer.
