I almost groaned ,the stay at Camp is defiantly going to be a long and painful one .

Chapter 27

As soon as the meeting ended ,I was the first person out of the big house, I sat down on the stairs while everyone slowly walked out of the big house already gossiping.

Finally Voldemort, the Death Eaters and Nico exited the house followed by Big D . Who was looking as grumpy as always .

I got up from the stairs and walked up to the door where they were all crowding for some reason.  Who stands in front of a door? I sigh as I stop in front of them them.

I cross my arms over my chest as I look at Bid D, he is not usually this grumpy.

" Heads up, he " I nod my head in Big D's direction " never gets anyone's name right, except for mine, so don't feel offended. " I informed them. Knowing Malfoy I knew he would definitely be offended.

" Come on, we need to get you all settled in, unfortunately since me and Nico are part of camp, we have chores, I'm stable duty ,Nico is patrolling the woods." I spoke as I descended the stairs and walking in the direction of the Cabins, I was not going to enjoy staying in my cabin, that I was sure off.

I did not need to look back to know that they were following me . We walked in a comfortable silence, with an occasional question about something that they found interesting or did not know about. We had almost made it to the Cabins when we were stopped.  Having no other choice I stood still and waited for the confrontation to be over with.

" Jackson. "

"Bella. " I greeted.

Bella was one of the children of Aphrodite and for some unknown absolutely hated me. She just like all of her siblings were absolutely gorgeous, strawberry blonde hair baby blue eyes that stood out with their tans and curves in all the right places. Even standing around them now made a huge dent in my ego.

Stacy and June stood behind her both looking almost identical with Bella.

" If theirs nothing we can help you with ,we must be going, things to do. " I said as I tried to step around them but she stepped into my path blocking me. I could feel the heat of the others gazes on me as they watched the confrontation.

" Actually it's very rude that you did not introduce us to your ............acquaintances ,so why don't you fix that mistake. " her high pitched voice said as gave me the order, one which I would not follow. I crossed my arms over my chest, leaning back onto my leg and raised an eyebrow at her, really I did not listen to the Gods ,why would I listen to her.

Nico seeing the possibility of a fight starting, intervened. " Bella theses are the wizards that we have an alliance with for the war.

Lord Voldemort.

Bellatrix Lestrange .

Lucius Malfoy .

Fenrir Greyback.

Rodolphus Lestrange.

Avery.

Yaxely.

Narcissa Malfoy.

John Zabini. " Nico pointed to each person respectfully.

" A pleasure, I'm Bella, and these are my sisters Stacy and June. If you ever need.... assistance " he looked Voldemort and Lucius up and down " we would more than happy to help. "she spoke before turning and walking away with what was supposed to be a sway in her hips but looked like she broke her hip instead.

" Idiots. " I said before continuing towards the Cabin. The Camp had finally build guest Cabins since we had gotten many visits from people and creatures and since they could not always got in the Big house, we did not want to out them in the Hermes Cabin we built several for guests . Thankfully they come in handy a lot.

Stopping in front of the cabin I turned towards the group," This is your Cabin, it's magically resizeable and you decorate to what ever you want all you have to do is the say what you want out loud, it's like a house elf but without the elf. I'd get rest if I were you, we're demigods, it's a permanent sugar rush. We are a handful ,Nico I'll leave them in your cable hands. " trying to ignore they way that Voldemort was looking at me I made my way towards the stables .

Finally reaching the familiar old stables I did not hesitate and pushed open the doors the different voices of pegasus's playing in my head.

" Alex is back-"

" Rub me first -"

" Feed me-"

" My Queen-"

" Princess-"

I smiled as they stomped their feet and threw their heads back in excitement and happiness. But I as much as they wanted my attention I had one horse in mind. I walked to the back of the stables and my goal, Blackjack.

He stood proudly head held up high, completely raven black hair covering his entire body and smooth raven black wings folded on his back. As soon as I neared him his head turned in my direction and he was about to rear back until he saw it was me.

I laughed. " Still trying to scare off everyone that comes near you, huh, bud. You know you shouldn't allow me to be the only one that can come near you." I say fondly as I rub his slightly wild mane, trying to smooth it down.

He snorts " I would if they treated me properly, but they do not, so they are not allowed to be near me, do you know how many times they tried to pluck my feathers or don't wash me properly. It's outrageous. " his voice speakers in my head, I shake my head.

" Clearly I have spoilt you. " I replied.

"  Only the best treatment for royalty like me. " he said in some put on accent. I laughed only Blackjack could make my day.

" Come on I'll let you out while I take care of everyone else. " I said as I opened the latch to the door and let him walk past me to lay on the hay.

With a huff I went to the tap filling several buckets of water and opened the stable doors, the Pegasus stood in a skew line, closing my eyes I concentrated on the soapy water in the buckets and with several hand movements the water rose from the buckets and started to clean the horses. Smiling mischievously I concentrated on some water to clean another horse and heard a angry stomp accompanying a angry voice in my head. " Why, I was perfectly clean and my coat was smooth, did you know how long it took me to make it in the condition it was. "

I only laughed as Blackjack continued to rant, waving my hand all the horses were dried and coats smoothed out, Blackjacks included.  The water used to wash the horses formed balls floating in the air,dragging my foot in a half circle from in front of me to my back, the balls of water moved into the horses stables and collected all the dirt cleaning the stables, the now dirty balls of water disappeared once the place was clean.

The winged horses moved back into their own stables and I filled each one with fresh water and a stack of hay that I dragged over. 

Wiping the sweat on my forehead I looked over the now clean stables proud of my work I locked all the doors ,leaving Blackjack outside his stable laying in the sun.

" I'll be back later to let you guys go for a fly, OK. " I said.

I got nods of agreement and okays.

" Come on Blackjack, let's go for a fly. " I said as I approached him.

"  About time , I've been waiting for you to fly for days, visit me more.  I am you main priority. "  he spoke to me as he got up and made his way around me before stopping besides me.

Not bothering with a saddle I climbed on easily ,with practices I had it was not difficult and Blackjack started to gallop , before I knew it we were air born and the wind blowing my air around. It was amazing  the feeling of being free, alive and I never wanted it to end .
