Chapter 12

Alex POV.

As I water traveled to the lake I told Nico to meet me I was shocked when I saw their in all his glory was Voldemort.

What was he doing here though and where was Nico .Then it hit me Nico must of let him pick me up properly trying to get answers out of me .

I slowly made my way over to and stood several feet away from him.
He stool a few steps forwards until he was merely inches from me and took hand , he slowly lifted my hand up and kissed the back of my hand his lingering on my had longer than appropriate. All the while he never looked away from my eyes.

" It is good to see you again Alexis ,its been two long . You look beautiful as always ." he said his voice smooth like silk.

"Thank you " I said as I felt my cheeks heating up.
"It is good to see you again as well .I hope you are doing well."

"Yes I am well ,thank you." He replied.

"I have to apparate us to my Manor so I need you to hold on tight alright." He said stepping towards me and wrapping his arms around my waist .

I was sure I was the colour of a tomato ,all I did was nod and copied his actions by wrapping my arms around his middle .He was a lot taller than me ,my head only coming until his chest.

"You ready?"

I nodded again then I felt the worst feeling ever . It was like being squeezed through a tube .If it wasn't for Voldemort holding me I'm pretty sure my legs would have given away.

"Are you OK?" I vaguely heard him ask but I was to busy trying to control my upset stomach and trying not to through up. I laid my head on his chest and took several deep breaths . It helped slightly but I still felt nauseous.

"I'm good , though I never want to do that again .It was horrible you wizards need a better way of transportation." I said with a light laugh still leaning into his chest. It made me feel safe and warm being wrapped in his arms .

"Come on I'll show you to your rooms so you can settle in ." he said pulling away from me .I suddenly felt cold ,all I wanted to was jump right back into his arms .Wait jump into his arms what the hell are you thinking Alex get your head out of the gutter.

We started walking up the hill toward Hogwarts when he suddenly put am arm around my waist .

I felt content ,I haven't felt like this in years .I looked up at him with a questioning gaze only for him to raise a perfectly shaped eyebrow back at me .

"You never know who might be lurking in the halls ."

I silently nodded and paid attention to everything he told me as he gave a tour .We were just about to go towards my rooms when I angry screech was heard and the next thing I knew I was thrown into a wall behind Voldemort . My head collided with the wall and I felt a trickle of blood run down my face .Though I could still hear a discussion going on .

"My lord ,she is bewitching you . I will protect you my lord she will not get her filthy hand on yo- " that same screeching voice was cut of Voldemort angrily hissing at her .

"Bellatrix ,control your self .She was not doing anything she is a guest and will be treated like one now get out of my sight before I do something I will not regret."

"Yes My Lord."

I heard the sound of footsteps ruing in the other direction and I suddenly felt a hand cup my cheek the thumb running over my cheekbone.

I looked up into a pair of concerned crimson eyes .
"Are you alright , ever mind you are clearly hurt let me help you up and we can Clean you in your room ."

I gave a whispered OK and leaned on him as we made our way towards y rooms . I didn't take note of where we going ,my head was killing me .I must of hit it harder than I though.

We came to door which he opened I didn't take note of as he lead me to the bed and sat me on the edge of the bed . He got up and went somewhere ,I'm not sure where but I think a bathroom because I heard running water.

Voldemort came back with a wet cloth in his hand and kneeled in front of me .We were eye level and he gently started to clean my wound .

"Thank you for pushing me out of the way." I said breaking the silence.

He glanced up into my eyes for a moment before continuing cleaning my wound .

"Your welcome , but I didn't do such a good job if you got hurt."he said and you could clearly hear anger in his voice .

Why is he angry ? Was he worried something might happen to me ?Why was he worried though we hardly now each other but even in this short time I feel like I've known him for ages .

" Don't worry about it ,I've had worse. " I said trying to ease him.

He finished up on my face and took it in both hand gently stoking my cheek bones . I could feel star to blush .

"You shouldn't have to have gone through any of that .You are practically a child and everyone expects a lot from you .You deserve a break ."he said in gentle tone looking into my eyes .

" We do what we must for those we care about ." was my only reply .

He slowly got up taking his hands off my face and walking towards the door .

"Hope you have a good night Alex .I will see you in the morning .I hope your head feels better ."

Before I could reply he was gone and I was alone in the room .

I signed and started to get ready for bed .Why did he have to be so confusing ? I laid on back staring at the ceiling as I though of how complicated my time here will be .

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep .Tomorrow would be an interesting day ,hopefully the banshee won't hold a grudge .
