chapter 11

Alex POV

I tried to keep my open for a little longer . I was currently I in a meeting with the elders and I was exhausted . I wasn't even listening to what the elders where saying . Ts a wonder they didn't say anything on the fact I was half asleep in my chair or well ............throne .

'I'm sure they won't mid if i closed eyes for a few seconds I though ' going to close my eyes when one of the guards came in and announced that Nicolas was here and wanted to see me .

Don't I ever get I tiredly thought . I let out a huff and told the elders we will continue to discuss the meeting tomorrow . I got up and led Nico towards my room .

I knew the only resin he was here was to tell me something about the Lord Voldemort . He never visits so that has to be his reason .

As we get to my room I turn my back towards him and move my hair out of the way . Giving the silent request for him to unzip me . The first thing I do is change into something more comfortable while I let Nico gather his thoughts on how to break the news to me .

Finally after 5 minutes of him staring at the fire and me at him he speaks .

"Alex, my lord wishes for you to teach his death eaters how to fight , physically .He says its so that they can defend themselves in fights because if they loose their wands they are sitting ducks just waiting to killed . Before you say anything he said that all you have to do is stay in the castle and teach them to fight .You can come home whenever you want . He will be paying and helping out your kingdom's in every way possible such as wards  and protection charms and /spells ." he said so fast that I almost couldn't understand him.

I stayed quite not actually knowing what to say . I looked up into Nico's eyes , I stared at him for some time before I came to conclusion.

"You're scared that you don't get me to come you'll be punished ."

"Well......you can be very stubborn". He said with a slightly forced chuckle .

I thought about Voldemorts offer , we really do need ore protection and all I have to do is teach several people how to fight .Its not a bad deal but then I'll constantly be on wizard territory . That means also that I'll be seeing more of Voldemort.

"When does he want me ?"

"In two days " came his instant reply .

Two days ..........that's a little time ,I needs to get everything ready for my departure. Make sure paperwork is done the guards are doing there rounds and put someone in charge .There is no way i  am putting my father in charge even is sober.

"I'll be there in two days , but till the I need to get everything ready."
I said ." Can you fetch me at the lake in two days , at sundown I'll be ready ."

"Sure , just don't be late "  he said curtly .

I wonder what's gotten into him he is completely acting out of character . He is also being formal Nicolas is  never formal with me but then again I am me and have known hi since diaper days , to at least know its stress that's bothering him. Properly his father that is giving him work and the work of his lord is a lot to do.

Though it does anger me. all he ever does is sit around following Lord Voldemort orders . I haven't seen in three years before the episode in the Gat Hall.

I curtly say goodbye and Nicolas leaves without a second glance at  me .

The bastard.

I let out a tired sign as I rub my back trying to relieve some of the pain. It give one last longing look towards my bed and start walking towards my studies. I have lots of planning to do for my absence.

As I sit down behind .my desk I take one moment just to look at all the paperwork. This i going to be along two days I thought tiredly As I picked up the closest set of paperwork.
