A sickness driving me insane

A word shaking me to the core

An emotion so ruthless that it kills

Its darkness so dark it sickens the night sky

A brother of the famous green-eyed monster

The root to the destruction of humanity

The only word out of the dictionary of kindness

Hate.... A four letter word, yet it holds oceans

Hate..... A one syllable word, yet it drives massive waves

Hate.... A small word, yet containing its own world

Hate..... A very strong word, yet it weakens my world

I wish it were a person, so I could end it

I wish it had a heart, so I could guide it

But Alas! It is invisible, it has no form

It lives but can be non existing if you wish it to be

It thrives but can be killed if you wish it to be

I wish it was never born, but-
Everything is for a reason

I wish it could be gone, but-
It makes love interesting
