Chapter 7- Gods

"So you want to kill the king?"
"Yup. Then dragons will roam free, and won't have to go in hiding and shit. So, you in?"
Wag paused, flattening his ears and looking around, as if scared. But he quickly composed himself and acted as if nothing happened.
"Of course. It will finally bring justice to the land."
"Great!" Tom shouted giddily, throwing his hands in the air. "See, I told you! We won't be alone."
Tucker rolled his eyes, kicking a rock absentmindedly. "Yeah, but two tamers and three dragons is merely a nuisance to thousands of soldiers. That's nothing!"
"May the gods help us, then," Wag murmured quietly.
"Gods?" Tom suddenly seemed interested. As far as he knew, there was only one. "What do you mean 'gods'?"
Wag turned to him, surprised. "You don't know of the gods?"
Exchanging glances, Tom and Tucker shook their head whilst Jordan and Sonja nodded, not bothering to turn around.
"Educate us, Mr. Waglington. This is sounds interesting," Tom pleaded, shifting on Jordan's back to face him.
Sighing, Wag began.
"Legend says that the world, people and animals were created by three gods.
The first god was Mianite, god of good and the Overworld, creator of the people. He was the oldest of the three siblings, and was extremely strict and tight on being good, and ridding the world of evil.
"The second was Ianite, goddess of neutrality and the End, creator of passive creatures. She was the middle child, and was often breaking up the fights between her brothers. She was kind and caring, never one to leave an injured person or animal.
"The final god was Dianite, god of evil and the Nether, creator of hostile mobs. He was devious and cruel, often tricking and scamming people. He was hated, and banished from the Overworld from Mianite, causing the creation of the Nether.
"They were living peacefully, each in their own dimension. Nothing seemed to be wrong.
"But Mianite grew more and more strict, punishing those who opposed him and didn't follow rules. He became corrupted, and was unbalancing everything.
"Despite Ianite's valiant attempts to stop him, she was thrown aside, forgotten. Dianite tried to step up, but joined his sister soon after.
Mianite was finally thrown out of power when Dianite and Ianite teamed up. Mianite disappeared without a trace.
"Then Ianite meet Spark, king of Dagrun. Then I assume you know everything from there."
By the time Wag finished, the sun was setting, but no one seemed to notice. Tucker and Tom were both focused only on Wag, full attention and interest on his tale. Even Jordan and Sonja's ears were pricked, listening. For a moment, the only thing heard was their claws crunching into the rocks and grass.
"Yo, that's awesome! I didn't know that!" Tom exclaimed, blinking.
"Yeah, even I didn't know about them!" Tucker chuckled, looking up at the growing night sky.
Wag chortled, also looking up. "We should find a place to sleep. It's getting dark."
Soon enough, they found a decent sized cave, big enough to fit them all if they squeezed together.
Jordan and Wag were curled together and buried into Sonja's thick stomach fur, creating a warm blanket in the cold night. Tom was leaning against Jordan, using his fur as a pillow. Tucker was lying on top of Sonja, sprawled out and with plenty of space.
"Night, guys," Tucker yawned, glancing down to the three cuddled together.
Jordan and Sonja gave weak snorts and growls in response, half asleep.
"Night."
"Goodnight."

This was more of a filler I guess :P
Also sorry if the legend thing doesn't really work with the thing in the beginning, I tried to get it to work out.
Also, would you guys like it if I wrote in first person? If I did, it would mostly be in Tom/Tucker's POV, occasionally one of the dragons. It wouldn't start for about another 3 chapters. Just curious c:
