Chapter 2: All on our own now

Five hours later, the three of us get out of the car, followed closely by Rapunzel's parents, gawking at the huge building in front of us. Anna dropped her Starbucks cup when she saw it. Upon realizing that she'd dropped it, she groaned and stomped her foot.

"But I wasn't done with that!" She whined.

"Wow... That's..." Rapunzel trailed off, staring at the building in awe.
"...gigantic," Anna said.

"Huge," said Aunt Prim, coming up beside us

"What's another word? Oh, yeah. Colossal," I said and we all giggled while our uncle stared at us.

He cleared his throat. "Shouldn't you ladies go get checked in while I go pick up our lunch?"

"Good idea! We'll meet back here in an hour or so," Aunt Prim grinned.

He turned and headed to the trunk of their blue truck, opening it and revealing boxes, suitcases, and bags. Prim walked over to the luggage cart area, and returns with three of them, all large enough for all of our things. We each load our own carts and start walking towards the front of the building, watching as the truck pulls out of the parking lot.

When its finally our turn, we approach the plastic grey table with papers and envelopes covering every inch. Two girls, a few years older than me, smile up at us.

"Hi! I'm Kirsten and this is Jess," says a green-eyed brunette, pointing to the girl beside her helping out another group. "I'm going to need your names, please."

Aunt P steps forward. "Elsa Winters, Anna Winters, and Rapunzel Summers."

She nods and hands us each  an envelope and a large bag with books, t-shirts, and other stuff in it.

Aunt Prim directs us over to a bench and we plop down. Anna opens hers immediately and starts reading it out loud.

"Anna Winters, grade 10. Room 522, building 2A. Roommate..." she reads it silently, then squeals, "RAPUNZEL SUMMERS!" They both start squealing and hug each other as they jump up and down. I smile and roll my eyes, and open mine carefully, sure as not to rip it. I notice Anna tapping her foot impatiently.

"Hurry up, Elsa!" She complains. I ignore her and open it, taking out a blue sheet of paper.

"Elsa Winters, grade 11. Room 222, Building 2A. Roommate Merida Mordu."

Rapunzel smiles, "Hey! Same building!"

We stop at Anna and Punzie's room first, since Anna won't stop begging.

They had a decent sized room.

Inside, there are two twin size beds on opposite sides of the rooms with wooden frames. Each have those pull out drawers underneath, and there are wooden shelves on the right wall in the room and a small desk under the shelves. The same types of shelves are on the left side of the room too. They are right above the side of the bed. There is a door with a mirror on the back of it on the left side; a window with a small window seat is in between the two beds. Everything is very clean and crisp, which means that they're the first people to use it. Returning students are allowed to decorate their rooms. On each of their beds, there is a box with the school colors and logo on it. On each desk is a tag with their names on them. We unload their things and head downstairs to my room.

My room is the same as theirs, but the other side has already been decorated. I take in the green carpet and tan coloured sheets, along with the other splashes of green and brown and the patters on the wall that make up a bear and some trees. I see that the room has two window seats instead of one. Each of us has our own.

We unload the boxes as my aunt calls my uncle and tells him the room number for Anna and Punzie's dorm so he can bring up the food. We head back upstairs and Punzie lays on her bed.

"Can you guys help us unload our stuff a bit to set up before the food comes?" She asks.

I shrug my shoulders. "Sure, why not?"

After lunch, we walk to the parking lot to say our goodbyes. Uncle Thomas and aunt prim pull us all into a hug.

"I'm going to miss you three so much!" she wails.

She looks at us and smiles.

My uncle smiles at us. "Remember, no boys, no drugs, no drinks, no parties, no kissing, no hugging, no-"

"Okay, honey, I think they get the point"

"Okay. Its just-"

"I know. I know."

As they pull out the parking lot we wave until the car turns around the corner and disappears. The three of us then look at each other and up at the girls dormitory that towers over us.

"Well, we're all on our own now." I say and we head in side, discussing what we would do tomorrow.

Was it OK? Hope it was! I know I'm no good at this stuff help me out please! give me tips! They are greatly appreciated!
