3-year-old Danielle was running to her 8-year-old brother, Wally's, room with tears streaming down her face.

"Dani, what's wrong?" He asked quickly running over to her and hugging her. "Da-ddy h-it me ag-gain." Dani sobbed into his shoulder. Wally picked Dani up and carried her to his bed and laid down with her.

The next morning their mother, Mary, came in and dragged Dani out of Wally's arms. "Come on, get up," Mary said as she threw Dani to the ground. Wally quickly got off the bed and ran over to Dani. Dani had tears streaming down her face when Wally grabbed her and pulled her in for a hug.

"Let her go, she's a worthless piece of shit and you're just a damn mistake." She told Wally. Wally looked up at her with tears in his eyes. "Now, get out! BOTH OF YOU!" She screamed at them. Wally quickly stood up and ran outside.

In Central City Barry received a call from Mary.

"Hey Mary, what do you?" Barry asked.

"Can you come and pick up Dani and Wally, please?" Mary asked 'crying'.

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Barry asked concerned.

"Something happened and they shouldn't have to see it." She answered still crying.

"Ok, I'm on my way right now," Barry told her and hung up the phone.

---

Wally and Dani were outside on the front lawn hugging each other. Dani was hugging Wally like she would lose him if she let go. Wally looked down the street and saw Barry's car.

"Uncle Barry!" Wally yelled standing up. Barry pulled in the driveway. Wally ran over to the car still holding Dani.

Barry noticed that Wally was holding onto Dani and tears streaming down his face. "Wally, what happened?" Barry asked running over to them.

"Mom threw Dani to the ground and called a worthless piece of shit and called me just a mistake and last night daddy hit her," Wally answered still crying. Barry looked him confused. "Are you here to pick us up?" Barry nodded. "Get in the car. I'll be right back, I'm going to talk to your mom." He told them and Wally nodded. "Please don't tell her I told you what happened," Wally told Barry.

Wally walked over to the car opened the door. He sat down on the back seat. "Dani, I have to buckle you in," Wally whispered in her ear, her grip on Wally tightens. "N-no," she told him shaking her head, "she'll come back and hurt me."
