Rachel PoV

It was dark... Everything was dark.

We love you Rachel...

Mom? Dad? Where are you??

"Hey!! There's another gate arrival!!" I heard a distant voice call.

"Oh my god!! She's injured!!" Another voice yelled.

I didn't feel the pain until the voice mentioned it, it felt like someone had stabbed me with a chainsaw.

"Get the gurney!!" A female barked.

I felt my body get lifted up, and set on the gurney.

Pain shot up my side, as I was carried away.

*some time later*

I woke up with a start, breathing heavily. I was still in pain, but it was not as intense as before. I groaned, and put my hand to my side, feeling a thick bandage where it fell.

"Are you ok?" A voice asked me.

I looked up to meet a bright light. Squinting, I looked at the person who had talked. It was a man, with brown hair and a clean shaven face. His eyes were a deep blue.

I cleared my throat, "Uh.. Yeah, I'm fine."

He smiled, "that's good, here, take this."

He handed me a red pill, I took it cautiously. He took a water bottle from the bedside table, and handed that to me too.

"What is this?" I asked as I examined the pill.

"Pain killers." He replied simply.

Oh. Makes sense. I put the pill in my mouth, and flushed it down with water.

"The pain should ease in a few minutes." He said.

I nodded. He turned around, shooting one last thing at me before he left.

"The name is James, by the way. Well. See you around."

James?

Sounds, interesting.

I smiled and took another drink. And just as I did, another person walked in. Female, and obviously an important person.

"So you're awake? About time, you've been out for three weeks."

Three weeks?!

The woman smiled, but it wasn't very welcoming.

"Im Sargent. You will address me as so. Now that you're awake, I have a few questions." She said.

I smiled weakly, I felt threatened.

Sargent sat down. "Alright, what's your name?"

"Rachel. Rachel Smith." I replied.

"Age?" Sargent asked.

"Eighteen." I did not like this.

"Birthday?"

"Sorry to interrupt ma'am, but why do you need this information?" I asked.

Sargent looked up, "Well, I need the information for your file."

My breathing grew faster.

"Rachel... You need to cooperate." Sargent said with clenched teeth.

"No." I said.

Sargent flinched. "What. Did. You. Say?" She said slowly, her teeth clenched.

I sat on the edge of my bed. "I. Said. No!!" I brought my fist up as fast as I could and brought it down on Sargent's head, making her fall to the floor of a few seconds. I dashed out of the room holding my side as I ran.
