Made of Steel

The night rests on her shoulder
The sweet lips betray how sober
Her conscience could have been
Though her patience does run thin

Roses on her fingers
While a rosewater scent lingers
Streaks of chocolate in her eyes
Do betray how wise

The sea is waving goodbye
As the men wave and sigh
Thought she would cajole
But she duped them, how drole

An aura of fearless in her heel
They say her heart is made of steel
But then does she ever rust
Or is it all part of her curse

For she bears the weight of her beauty
While pursuing her eternal fantasy
Fighting saints and hooligans alike
It won't be long until she'll strike
