PERSONALITY
Lanie is a quiet, softspoken girl. She's a sweetheart, yes, but she doesn't go out of her way to make herself known to others. If you need help, and ask for it specifically, she will help you. But growing up with four older brothers has kind of...quieted Lanie. Her brothers were always very protective of their only little sister. Yes, there was the teasing and the roughhousing and the sack-of-potatoes when the siblings were younger, but as she grew up into a beautiful young woman, Lanie's brothers became very protective of who she was hanging out with, where she was, and what she was doing. They spoke up for her when things at school got messy, or when she was catcalled in the streets of the city. Never really getting to speak out for herself, Lanie shrunk back into the shadows of the family, letting her brothers become who she was supposed to be. So, when she was tossed into the chaos of what we call life, Lanie was not prepared. She had become a reserved young woman, not saying a word when someone insulted, catcalled, or complimented her. It wasn't that she didn't want to speak out; she just wasn't sure what exactly to say. Her brothers knew every possible comeback or snarky comment that could be used to reply to an inappropriate comment, but Lanie did not. So, she made up for her lack of self-confidence by helping others out. Or, at least, trying to.
BACKSTORY
Growing up with five older brothers was a blessing and a curse. Because Lanie's parents were always traveling for work, Lanie was glad to have someone to pass the time with at home. Lanie loved having five of her best friends by her side when she was upset. She loved being able to run to her brothers for hugs, comfort, laughs, anything to take her mind off that bad grade, or that bully, or maybe the jerk-y substitute that moved her clip to yellow for laughing aloud at one of her friend's jokes. It really didn't matter what was on her mind. Her brothers were always there to dry her tears. Especially Cody, Being the closest to Lanie in age, Cody was always the most understanding towards Lanie's problems, and vice versa. While Lanie's other brothers would listen to her problems, promise everything would be okay, give her a hug and a kiss and send her off, Cody actually listened. He gave advice. He kept her secrets. And he told her of his troubles as well. She loved and adored Cody. She looked up to him. And Lanie still does. Cody was the only one of her five brothers to actually sort of lay off the protectiveness as Lanie grew up. And Cody even tried to keep her brothers from being too much like a parent, but they didn't listen.

SCENARIOS
Scenario One
It's getting late. You've been up late at the library, studying, but unfortunately they're about to close up. You're not too happy about the amount of studying you were able to get in, but you had a reading lamp back at your dorm. Pulling all-nighters wasn't anything new to you, so you weren't worried. Grab a cup of coffee, or four, some good snacks, your textbooks, and earbuds and you were good to go. You're packing up your bags, back turned to the doors, when you hear a crash and a surprised yelp. You turn to see a girl with dark hair sprawled out on the floor of the library, five textbooks laying besides her. Was she seriously trying to carry those all by herself?! She was rubbing her head, tears of pain and embarrassment springing to her big, bright blue eyes. You?
Scenario Two
Make one up!
