That affects millions around the world
Myself included
Time for Unrest

A brave woman
Filmed herself in the grip of this
Horror
And reached out to others
Now this film

Is inches away from being
Oscar nominated
Her story
Is our story
Is my story

Regardless what stage
We are in
We were at one point
Or another
A part of the millions missing

The CDC
NIH
Have turned their backs
On us
We're the psychos with the made up disease

Not so, we've been silent enough
We lose people all the time
To this illness
Or suicide

No more
Enough is enough
We are ready to charge
Make the decision
We need to go to Congress

No one else will do a damn thing
It is truly time not just Unrest
But it's time for an upheaval
In this disgraceful medical community

The only way we can do this
Is to stand, sit, lay down together
For one common goal
Set our differences aside
Be they opinions or politics

We must have one common goal
To receive yearly proper funding
Without funding
So we don't continue to lose
People that could have been saved

I declared war on this disease
In 2015 and G-d heard my pleas
He granted me a second chance at life
I'm a warrior ready for battle
