Get together to feast

And be merry

Christmas

Are on the same eve

Though the latter

Only lasts 24 hours

And the formal

A whole

8 crazy nights

They bring together

Something that eludes us

A lot during the rest of year

Peace

Hope

Unity

Happiness

Even if people

Are part of a small family

Don't have one

Or are alone during the

Holidays

The universe smiles upon them all

It's when we realize and are thankful

For yet again

Everything and everyone we do have

In our lives
