I just finished my 10th class
I have 20 total
Dissertation not included
In a year and 5 months
I got here
Halfway there

With another A
A perfect score
To add to my expanding collection
Of those
Only 1 A- thus far and I hope
To keep it that way

Just thinking that I'm slowly
But surely putting a dent
Into my Ph.D. is exciting and
Kind of unbelievable

Because at first, it seems
The road is long
Like a horizontal abyss
With no end ever in sight

And yet
So much ground gained
Even with this 2.5-month break
Which I need for my health
Class 11 starts on 9/18

Not that I shall be staring into space
I have 3 projects to do
2 of which I will try to complete before
School restarts

While the 3rd, will take time and
It's a group effort
Nothing more on that

But after finishing another quantitative
Class successfully, I know I can do them
As I was unsure before

Hey, I can do anything and everything period
Because as I write this
On July 1st
I'm 35 months into remission
And that's another prideful aspect of things

I'm lucky
I'm eternally blessed
Despite hiccups, I'm at peace
What else can anyone ask for?
