People never understand

How their energy can affect

Perfect strangers

The election this week

Has proven to be

Historic

Not just with who won

And who didn't

But people's reactions

Have slammed into

All empaths everywhere

Like millions of vacuums

In every pore of one's body

Sucking energy away

And creating empty space

The protests on the street

Putting emotions into the air

Of hatred

Sadness

Disbelief

Madness

That same atmosphere

Drifted around the globe

Drained

Of the good

The positive

The wellbeing

That's why many

Begged for a cease and desist

Because being

Emotionally drained

Is how we break apart

And we are trying to

Come together

Find peace

That's not the way

Everyone is allowed to be upset

But at some point

Hate needs to be put aside

Peace needs to come forth

Along with love

For ones fellow man and woman

That way those who are so easily

Affected by

Malice in the air

Can recover from the

Heavily charged

Empathic gunk

Reverberating around the body

For those that don't know how it feels

Think of emotional

Food poisoning

Equilibrium shot

Lightheaded

Would you want to feel that

All the time due to someone else's

Constant negativity

Don't think so

Being drained like this

Is very hard

Because one can't function

With everyday activities

Stop and think before you

Spew something into the world

You may hurt other people

But ultimately

What you put out into the universe

Will come back

Be careful what you wish for

And say

Everything is heard

Hence why peace and love

Is the only way to live
