For months and years

We would critique

Through many doubtful fears

Others voices that were unique

Yet within the names

There were people of different races

These weren't online games

Each of us had canvas faces

Seeing each other for the first time

Made everything real

As the universe aligned the perfect rhyme

It gave us all a very warm feel

3 days spent together

Working hard; brains fried

Getting started on what would last forever

Our own Mount Everest, knowing we tried

We have very far to go before we sleep

As we head home away from this community

We made promises to each other we must keep

Never to give up or squander the opportunity

Strangers we came

Now each has friends in new places

None of us will ever be the same

And to think we started out as just canvas faces
