In the PhD program
6 weeks
Where did they go?

Tomorrow I start number 2
New professor though
Many of the same classmates
Another 6 weeks starting

Grades from first class
Not in until this weekend
But it's
1 down, 19 to go

There's some things
I wish were different with
My school's way of doing things
Less confusing

And until I get my final grade
I won't consider it done
Though my mom wants to celebrate
But I've finished all of the work

One on the way
And tuition paid
