Back at it again with Chapter Eleven, this chapter will involve a bit more backstory to Devin's quirks and training, so I do hope you all enjoy it.

The next morning, everyone would be up as Toru went to check on Devin, also not seeing Mineta as she was more curious.

"Don't think you wanna find them," Chelsea said, approaching Toru, causing the invisible girl to jump slightly.

"Sorry, just concerned, you know," Toru said as Chelsea nodded, pointing to the first door on the left. Toru smiles, but Chelsea wouldn't be able to tell as Toru gently knocked on the door before quietly opening it.

"Hey-" Toru whispers before stopping as if the others could physically see her eyes. They would be cartoonishly wide right now. Chelsea approaches smiling at the scenario.

Devin would be cuddling Mineta's sleeping bag as Mineta had turned into Devin's body, fitting himself into the crook of Devin's neck.

"Do be a dear and wake them up?" Chelsea said as Toru nodded, approaching Devin and Mineta. Toru would wake Mineta up first as the smaller boy would jolt up panting slightly.

"Woah there," Toru said as Mineta quickly calmed down, eyeing Toru.

"What time is it?" Mineta said as Toru was smiling, which Mineta could tell, "What?"

Toru would point as Mineta slowly looked at a sleeping Devin, going wide-eyed and bright red face. Toru began shaking her head as she immediately noticed the change in Mineta's attitude.

"Wonder what your body would look like visible~" Mineta said pervertedly, earning a slap from Toru, but her hand would reach Mineta's face as Devin woke up pissed.

"Touch him, and I break your arm," Devin said as Toru gasped at Devin's protective look. Toru nods as Devin eyed Mineta, who gulped slightly at Devin's attitude.

"Damn dude, what do you have for a pervert?" Toru then asks as Devin eyes Mineta, who blinked, then sighing.

"Toru... I'm gay," Mineta said as Toru went extremely wide-eyed, "I pretended to be straight and perverted because of my parents. They're not exactly... supportive."

"Oh my gosh!! I'M SO SORRY!!" Toru shrieks as Devin covered her mouth quickly, hearing small grumbles coming from the living room, "Seriously?"

"Yeah, seriously, and I've been a complete total ass to you and the other girls. There's probably no words to tell you that I'm sorry," Mineta said as Toru looked at Mineta. Mineta would be crying as Toru rubbed his shoulder, smiling yet again; the guys couldn't tell since she was invisible.

"I forgive you, Minoru," Toru said smiling, "Believe me."

"R-really?" Mineta hiccups as Toru nods before hugging Mineta tightly. Devin smiles before he gets up, stretching as Toru eyes him.

"Ok, seriously, your abs can cut diamonds," Toru said as Chelsea and Mineta then smirked.

"Damn straight~" the two said as Devin snorted, laughing hysterically.

"I fucking cannot... I'm getting dressed and picking up Dëm," Devin said throwing his arm around then changed into his casual clothes and headed out. Toru and Mineta soon exited Devin's room as the others began getting up smelling food as Chelsea was cooking eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy which Mineta began salivating over.

"Hungry aren't ya?" Chelsea asks as Mineta nods with the others stretching.

"Good morning, Chel," Ochako said eyeing Toru standing next to Mineta tilting her head.

"Hey girls," Toru said still sleepy as Jiro had launched her earphone jacks at Mineta, "Woah! He isn't being perverted!!"

"Wait... seriously?" Jiro asks as Momo and Mina were wide-eyed as was the others, "That's complete bull!"

"It's the truth," Toru said frowning a bit as Mineta eyes Toru.

"It's fine, Toru," Mineta said as he shook his head still not comfortable about his homosexuality being out.

"Ok Minoru," Toru said as the girls went wide eyed at Toru's calmness.

"Did he do something!?" Jiro immediately questions as Toru frowns.

"No, I finally talked with him like a decent human fucking being, how about you girls try that for a change?!" Toru exclaims as the other Class 1-A students were extremely terrified of Toru's defense towards Mineta as Mineta was wide-eyed.

"Wow," Izuku said as Bakugo nodded. The girls then eyed Mineta out of curiosity but enraged.

"You did something to put her on yo-" Jiro said as Chelsea eyes Jiro with her eyes going solid black.

"I suggest you watch your tongue," Chelsea said as Jiro immediately shut up with Mineta and Toru smiling at her. A couple coughs emerged as the group eyed Devin and an eighteen year old male wearing gray casual clothes smirking smugly at them.

"Are we interrupting something?" Devin asks as the class was wide eyed staring at the male noticing the tattoos on his arms and sheath on his right hip.

"Not at all... Holy fuck," Bakugo said as Dëm began chuckling a bit waving at the class.

"Greetings Class 1-A, the name is Dëm," Dëm said bowing as the others smiled.

"So formal..." Mina said as Dëm held up his left hand having a wedding ring.

"And married too," Dëm commented as the girls pouted. The guys chuckled as Izuku eyes Dëm.

"What's your quirk?" Izuku asks as Dêm smiles.

"That's actually a bit complicated to explain but the name of it is Nephalem," Dëm said, "But that's after my quirks evolved sort to speak."

"Evolved?" Denki asks as Dëm nods thinking.

"It's a phenomenon that can happen with certain quirks," Dëm said, "Not gonna go into much detail without you all experiencing it."

The class pouts as Dëm began laughing a bit.

"I could give you a demonstration," Dëm said as the class smiles with Dëm eyeing Devin who was frowning.

"Devinion?" Dëm questions as Devin had walked off.

"Is something wrong?" Sero asks as Dëm sighs thinking.

"Yes and no," Dëm said motioning for the class to sit down as Dëm held the ridge of his nose, "So you all know about Devin's quirks?"

"Yeah, Yin and Yang," Mineta said as Dëm blinks eyeing Chelsea.

"Have they seen the Yin-Yang quirk?" Dëm asks as Chelsea nods, "Right at the Sports Festival. By the way, Midoriya, is it?"

Midoriya nods as Dëm approaches holding out his fist which Midoriya fist bumps smiling.

"Bloody brilliant," Dëm said as Bakugo frowns with everyone laughing, "Actually everyone in the Sports Festival was awesome in my book. I was on the edge of my seat..."

Chelsea coughs smirking as Dëm noticed the students smirking at him.

"...And I'm rambling," Dëm said as the others began laughing hysterically causing Dëm to sigh, "Anyways, Devin's quirk can be taken another step further from the Yin-Yang phase. And it's more potent than my Nephalem quirk."

The class were silent as Chelsea blinks eyeing the direction Devin had went frowning.

"Hope..." Chelsea thought to herself as she hums a bit with the others having the same look as she did. Dëm smiles a bit tilting his head.

"Seems like you all care for him?" Dëm replies as the group nodded.

"He's someone that means something to us, and a bit more to certain ones," Toru commented as Chelsea smiles a bit with Mineta looking down but smiling small.

"I wanna see you all in action first hand," Dëm said as the class smiles.

"What do you suggest?" Denki asks as Dëm smiles a bit motioning for the group to follow him outside.

Meanwhile, Devin was in his room on his bed meditating with several black and white candle lit breathing in the scents of volcanic ash and vanilla mist as he exhales every five seconds inhaling for ten seconds. Memories of the incident began playing over and over again becoming more intense. After about the tenth rep, almost golden white flames escaped his lips. This lasted about five seconds as screams and yells brought Devin back to reality.

"What the absolute fuck?" Devin asks as he put his shirt back on blowing the candles out before heading out onto the balcony. His eyes widen slightly watching Toru and Chelsea fighting with Dëm refereeing as the group was cheering. Devin leaps over the railing landing on his feet before walking over out of curiosity.

"What's... going on?" Devin asks as Bakugo eyes him.

"Oh Dëm wanted to see what we're made of so he is reffing matches to see what we're capable of," Bakugo said as Devin smiles, "But we're already in a tournament. Sorry but it's for cool people."

Devin was taken aback as he steps back before frowning slightly hurt then nodding.

"I understand..." Devin said walking towards another side of the beach away from the group. Dëm would take notice immediately stopping the fight.

"Dude, that was fucking uncalled for," Dëm said to Bakugo who blinked.

"What?" Bakugo asks.

"Bakugo, seriously, it's for cool people only?" Mineta questions, "That's probably the biggest asshole statement I've heard. And I've said much worse to the girls."

Mineta sprinted after Devin as Bakugo was taken aback by Mineta's statement which was turned into immediate rage.

"You go after him and I will stomp a mudhole so big that even your ego will say 'Fuck this shit I'm out!'," Dëm threatens immediately shutting Bakugo down.

"Devin?" Mineta calls out before hearing sniffling in the woods as Mineta calmly entered the woods, seeing Devin on a branch, crying and looking down slightly.

"What...? Came to poke fun at me?" Devin asks as Mineta shook his head before using his quirk to scale the tree sitting next to Devin, eyeing him.

"Never, you deserve every bit of respect," Mineta said frowning, "Honestly, if I wasn't afraid of Bakugo's temper, I would kick him in the dick."

Devin would snort slightly as Mineta smiles slightly.

"And that was a bad joke," Mineta said as Devin nodded, wiping his eyes sighing, "Are you ok?"

"No, I'm not," Devin admits as Mineta would crawl onto Devin's lap sitting down in a more comfortable position staring at him.

"Talk," Mineta said, "You listened to me about my situation and never ran away."

"That's a different scenario," Devin said frowning a bit but smiled seeing Mineta smiling back at him still intent. However, unbeknownst of them, the other Class 1-A students had appeared searching for Devin and Mineta quickly finding them but decided to listen in on the conversation.

"It's just us," Mineta said as Devin frowns thinking.

"It was about three years after I was born, I began showing signs that I was... different than what either Yin descendants or Yang descendants had showed," Devin started as Mineta stared at him, "My quirk control appeared long before I actually received my quirks from my mother and father."

"That's cool!" Mineta said cheerfully as Devin shook his head.

"No, it's not," Devin said, "I didn't know about it until I was on the run. But there was an incident that pushed my emotional state to its limits and..."

Mineta noticed Devin's body trembling with Devin crying.

"Something happened?" Mineta asks as Devin sips in air looking up at the sky.

"In a moment of unrivaled rage towards a group of civilian thugs..." Devin said, "My quirks evolved to something uncontrollable... unthinkable... and I remembered standing in a pool of blood amongst dead bodies."

Mineta's eyes widen as the other Class 1-A students were trembling.

"Did you kill them?" Mineta asks as Devin shook his head.

"I don't remember," Devin replies, "But I know I'm not a hero and don't deserve to be one. I was hoping UA would be my ticket at a normal life. But seems history is to repeat itself."

"Devin..." Mineta said as Devin pushed Mineta back.

"You should go back to the others," Devin said, "Don't worry about a monster like me..."

Devin would take off deeper into the woods as Mineta would reach for him but trembled slightly as Chelsea's tendrils wrapped around him pulling him down.

"Are you alright?" Chelsea asks as Mineta trembled slightly. Bakugo reached from him before Mineta fully tackled Bakugo onto the ground and began nailing Bakugo with right and left hooks.

"Mineta!! Calm down!!!" Dëm yells as he and Midoriya ripped a thrashing and crying Mineta off Bakugo.

"I FUCKING HATE YOUR GUTS BAKUGO!!! YOU HAD TO MAKE THE ONE PERSON WHO UNDERSTOOD ME UNHAPPY!!!" Mineta yells as Bakugo got up growling.

"Say it to my face you damn extra!!" Bakugo growls as Mineta snarls with Chelsea frowning a bit. Mineta would jump towards Bakugo extremely pissed off as Jiro and the others got between the two.

"What is your problem?!" Jiro yells at Mineta as Dëm eyes Mineta immediately recognizing the familiar look, "Why are you so obsessed with Devin!?"

"BECAUSE I'M FUCKING GAY, KYOKA!" Mineta yells at the group not caring at the moment as everyone was wide eyed, "I DON'T LIKE GIRLS THAT WAY! THE ONLY REASON I ACTED LIKE A PERVERT WAS BECAUSE OF MY DAMN PARENTS!!! BUT YOU ALL NEVER REALLY GAVE A DAMN?!"

Mina and the girls except for Chelsea and Toru had backed down noticing Mineta was crying.

"Chelsea, you and Mineta go after Devin," Dëm said as Chelsea nods picking up Mineta placing him on her back before breaking into a full sprint going after Devin.

"Dëm..." Bakugo said as Dëm slugged Bakugo.

"You all will sit down and shut the fuck up," Dëm said as he pointed to Toru, "Except her."

Toru nods standing behind Dëm.

"I've never been anything less than mad but for the first time in my existence," Dëm said, "I'm truly disappointed in you all."

"But..." Jiro said as Dëm growling demonically would instantly quiet the Earphone Jack hero down.

"Aren't heroes supposed to be understanding of everyone?" Dëm asks as the group went wide eyed, "If the answer is yes then in this situation and before, would you call yourselves heroes?"

"..." the class began tearing up as Dëm frowns eyeing Toru.

"I better tell you this too, Devin's actually bisexual," Dëm said frowning, "So when you disrespect Mineta. You disrespect someone whom you told me that you all care about."

The class went wide eyed as Bakugo was really now taken aback.

"You all better pray and hope Chelsea and Mineta find him," Dëm said.

Chelsea and Mineta would easily find Devin who was meditating as the two approached him frowning.

"What?" Devin asks coldly as Chelsea frowns sitting next to him with Mineta doing the same.

"...How long?" Chelsea asks as Devin eyes her tearing up.

"Too damn long," Devin said as Chelsea hugs Devin tightly as did Mineta with the two rocking Devin back and forth letting Devin get all of his tears and sadness out.

"It's OK, it's in the past," Chelsea said kissing Devin tenderly as Mineta smiles at the two.

"We better get back to the others," Devin said as he fully calmed down noticing the sun setting. The others nodded as they got up heading towards the beach house.

"Hey Mineta..." Devin said as Mineta pauses before Chelsea kept walking but smirked. Devin had picked up Mineta planting his lips on Mineta's shocking the smaller boy as Mineta quickly returned the kiss.

"What was that for?" Mineta asks as Devin chuckles.

"For being you, and listening to me," Devin said as Mineta chuckles chasing after Chelsea. The three would appear back onto the beach as Devin would be instantly tackled by Bakugo.

"I'm sorry," Bakugo said, "I was a total asshole and shouldn't said what I said."

The others appeared as the girls had tackled Mineta crying and saying their apologies in quick succession.

"Woah! Woah! WOAH!!!" Mineta yells as Devin created energy ball shields around himself and Mineta separating the group as Dëm approaches smiling.

"We're terrible friends and classmates!" Iida said bowing rapidly as Devin blinks eyeing Dëm who waved.

"Thank you," Devin mouthed as Dëm nodded. The group would head back to the house as they listened to Mineta talk but Dëm and Devin hung back as Dëm eyes Devin.

"Seems Minoru Mineta has a thing for you," Dëm said, "I saw the way Mineta was defending you when he was giving Bakugo hell."

"Mineta? Beating the shit out of Bakugo?" Devin replies as Dëm shows Devin the recording as Devin was wide-eyed, "I have a newfound respect for short people..."

Dëm snorted, then laughed hysterically as Devin hums.

"So, you have someone you can get in case something happened to Chelsea?" Dëm asks as Devin bit his bottom lip, "I don't need to hear that reply."

"Shut up," Devin replied as Dëm smirked a bit.

"Serious question... still a vir-" Dëm asks as Devin would sprint away before Dëm finished the question, making noises.

"What the hell!?" Bakugo yells, seeing Devin run by. By the time everyone had returned to the house, night had fallen with everyone showering for tomorrow they would head to school then do their hero studies. Devin and Mineta would be up talking about other things as Mineta crashed in Devin's room.

"You know... I've never been in more peace with myself than now," Mineta said, looking outside at the full moon.

"Peace is something everyone deserves," Devin said, moving a chess knight smiling, "Checkmate."

"Damn it," Mineta said, smiling as he sighed, "Chess isn't really my thing anyways."

Devin chuckles before hearing Mineta yawning. Devin would point to his sleeping bag as Mineta climbed into it before automatically falling asleep. Devin snorted at the situation before he eyes the medium black box Dëm gave him at the airport.

"Use it whenever you feel like you're ready to..."

These were the words that echoed in Devin's mind as Devin smiled, putting it with his hero costume, then climbed into bed cuddling Mineta, who smiled from ear to ear.

"Night Grape Head," Devin commented as Mineta sighed softly.

"Night... Hope," Mineta mumbles as Devin smiles quickly, falling asleep.
