chapter 2

"where are you going?" donghyuck squinted his eyes only to see his hyungs preparing to go somewhere. he just woke up and this was the first thing he saw in the morning.

mark looked at him and smiled, "oh, hyuck you're awake." he then approached the younger who looked awfully cute in his pajamas.

"hyung, are you going to somewhere without me?" he asked, feeling sad. he doesn't want to be alone in their dorm again. it's the nth time they're going out without him and he doesn't want to be alone again.

mark held his shoulders and sighed, "we're just going to practice, hyuck." he then ruffled the younger's hair.

the tanned male pouted and huffed, "can i come?"

jaehyun approached he two youngest members and looked at donghyuck in the eye. "hyuck, as much as we wanted you to come with us, you can't because your injury might get worse." he sighed.

"but hyung, i don't wanna be alone!!!" donghyuck started to whine and throw tantrums like a little kid.

taeyong approached the youngest member and tried to calm him down. he was seated on the floor like a baby, while hugging his knees to prevent his tears from falling.

"donghyuckie, as much as we want you to—"

"hyung..." he then looked at taeyong with pleading eyes. the older sighed and patted mark's shoulder. "mark, you talk to him. you know what to do." he then ushered the other members to go outside and leave the two alone.

mark sighed and sat beside donghyuck on the floor. he poked the younger's shoulder and tried to see if he was crying. and he was.

his expression softened when the younger looked st him with teary eyes. "hey, donghyuck, shh..." he tried to hush him down.

he was taken aback when the younger suddenly hugged him. "m-mark-hyung... don't leave me... i don't want to be alone... i-it's sad here..."

mark hugged the younger back and sighed. "calm down, okay?" he said calmly while rubbing the younger's back. he then pulled away from the hug and saw donghyuck's swollen eyes. he brushed the younger's hair from covering his face and cupped his cheeks. "hyuck, stop crying..."

donghyuck did what he was told and tried to stop his sobs from coming out. he then looked down, not wanting to look at mark.

"look at me." mark ordered, but he was ignored. "i said look at me, hyuck." he then lifted his face so that he would look at mark. "you can come with us, but no dancing for you, okay?" mark pressed his lips into a thin line.

the younger stopped crying and looked at mark wih a shocked expression. "r-really?" he asked softly.

mark nodded and smiled at him, "mhm... so if i were you, stand up and get ready. i'll just explain it to taeyong-hyung, okay?"

the younger threw himself to mark, hugging him tighter. "the reason why i love you, hyung..." donghyuck said.

the canadian chuckled and just nodded at what he said. "i love you too. now stand up." mark stood up first and looked at donghyuck who was raising his hands, gesturing mark to pull him up. but the next thing mark did shocked him.

"hyung, put me down! i can walk and you're carrying me like a baby!" he tried to protest when mark carried him like a child. his legs were wrapped around the older's waist, and his arms were around mark's neck.

mark chuckled and looked at the younger's flustered look. "you are my baby, remember?"
