I should think about my life
All the things I need to do
What I wish for, what I strive
How am I not getting through

Think of problems and solutions
Get it right and set things straight
Be adult, make contributions
Be the author of my fate

But it's hard to think
When waves are breaking
Inside my soul
Against my mind

But it's hard to think
Of something else
When you live by the sea
