I'm already dead and gone
Nothing lost and nothing won
Buried deep below the clouds
Far away from dreads and doubts

Those who laid me down may rest
Heaven knows they did their best
I'm the one who has to thank
Still, they leave my tombstone blank

Faceless and alone I died
No one came and no one cried
Somewhere a lament is sung
For a man who died too young

I am sure that someone grieves
