It was a beautiful day-

Amalia: *Ugh* My feet are like jelly. I can't take another step.

Nora: Come on Granny! Walk another ten kilometers and we will finish with the warming!

(y/n): Nora, Not all of us are hyper-energetic monsters like you. How many pancakes did you eat at breakfast?

Nora: All the pancakes you made.

Ruel: That explains why we eat apples for breakfast.

Yugo: We're completely lost!

Evangelyne: And whose fault is that, I wonder?

Ruel: Bah, this map doesn't help. It's too easily insulted. I was only joking when I say it.

(y/n): I don't think he like being compared to toilet paper.

Ignoring the narrator, huh? Our dear adventurers ended up lost in their journey due to problems related to the self-esteem of the map. A handkerchief with the symbol of a crown fell at the feet of Dally who took it to inspected it, even sniff it.

Dally: I wonder who this wonderful and beautiful scent belongs to.

Dally looked around, listening to the voice of a damsel in distress asking for help in the forest.

???: Help me! Help me! Help me!

(y/n): Do you hear that?

In the distance, in the center of the forest, there was a tower with some walls around it and it was from where the cries for help came from. From one of the windows of the tower, came out a delicate hand with a red glove and a hair with a crown, obviously it was a person but it wasn't clearly who it was, probably it was a princess. 

Dally: *drooling* Huh? A princess? A beautiful damsel in distress?

(y/n): I don't know dally, a tower in the middle of the forest with a princess as a prisoner and without any kind of security, don't you think is a little suspicious?

Dally ignored your warnings and ran to the tower without thinking twice about it.

(y/n): *sigh* Why be cautious with an obvious trap for boobies?

Nora: Heh, you say-

(y/n): *clenching your teeth* I know.

From the same window of the tower which the hand showed up, a long hair fell, doing the function of a rope to climb to the top. Dally started climbing quickly to the top of the tower. Meanwhile, the rest of the group finally caught up with Dally, only to see him climbing the tower to the top.

Ruel: That's it. The last ounce of intelligence just drooled out of his mouth.

Eva: Ah, men. A bit of makeup, some sweet talk, and they lose their head. They're all the same.

(y/n): You know I'm standing right next to you?

Eva: ALMOST All the same.

(y/n): Thank you?

Yugo: At this rate we're not gonna get to Oma Island any time soon.

Amalia walked towards a sign with vines around it that made it very difficult to read. But she used her powers to make the vines move and get away from the sign, revealing the sign that has several warning symbols like skulls, target shooting, even radioactivity warning!

Amalia: Hey, look! There are real pretty pictures hidden under here.

Nora: Pretty?

Amalia: I can't understand them, though. What is this gibberish?

Eva: That's Osamodas. Should have gone to class more often, princess.

Amalia: Hmp.

(y/n): I don't think you have to be a genius to know that these are warning signs.  

Eva: "Leave all hope behind. Run for your life. Very grave risk of death."

Nora: Sounds like fun to me.

(y/n): Sounds like a nanny job for me...

Ruel: Ah, that explains why there isn't a soul in sight. 

Eva: "And above all, do not enter the haunted tower."

(y/n): This reminds me of the first days of study about the magic I had. The warnings of the books were always at the end of the chapters.

Yugo: We'd better warn Percedal.

Dally continued climbing the tower and he was a couple of meters away from finally reaching the top. Everyone tried to warn Dally before it was to late. Unfortunately, he got the wrong message.

Dally: Ha-Ha! Watch them cheer their hero! Dry your eyes, beautiful damsel! Sir Percedal has come to rescue you! 

Dally began to jump against the wall while holding the rope, this gave him enough impulse to reach the window on the top floor of the tower with a good jump.

Dally: Here I am, gentle maid! 

???: Ah, finally. A brave hero.

When Dally saw the princess in the tower, he saw that she was a woman of medium height with a giant beard and her hair covered most of her body, with the exception of his face and arms.

Dally: Huh?

???: *Giggles*

Dally: AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Dally desperately tried to jump out the window to escape, only to end up being trapped by a rope made of hair that dragged him back into the tower. Everyone else heard Dally screaming from inside the tower.

Yugo: It was Dally.

(y/n): Well, I tried to warn him.

Yugo: He must have come up against a fierce monster or something worse!

(y/n): I don't think it's a monster, I saw a person with small arms from that window.

Yugo: We can't let him have all the fun, so let's go!

Ruel: You are dead right, young man. Where there's a tower, there's always something hidden. Perhaps even some gold!

Nora: NOW WE ARE TALKING MY LENGUAGE!

(y/n)(mind): *sigh* Another disaster to clean.

Nora, Yugo and Ruel left running excitedly towards the tower, while Eva and Amalia walked calmly towards there. 

Eva: Those Iop brains. 

Before you were with them, you saw a blue light behind you, a light that was familiar. You turned around and saw a small blue fireball with a pair of eyes and a small mouth.

Its size was very small, the size of the palm of your hand. But for a strange reason, your face went pale when you saw this creature.

???: Greetings lord (l/n), my name is-

Before the creature could finish speaking, you took a glass bottle from your pocket and locked it inside it.

???: Lord (l/n)?! What are you doing?!

(y/n): If you are going to transmit a message now is not the time, wait until I get a more private place, otherwise I will turn off your candle!

???: Y-Yes, my lord.

You put the glass bottle back in your pocket and started taking deep breaths.

(y/n): Damn it, I knew that sooner or later he would want to know the progress of the mission. But send a spirit of dark flames as a messenger... that bastard doesn't care for the safety of others. These creatures are highly explosive.

*BOOM*

A small explosion coming from the tower caught your attention and after a few seconds, the rest of the group returned running towards you.

Amalia/Nora: *Running towards you* (Y/N)!!!

(y/n): No! Wait! 

Nora and Amalia tackled you to the ground while they cried on your shoulders. In some miraculous way, the glass bottle that you had in your pocket didn't break with the fall.

Ruel: Lady-killer.

Amalia: (y/n), it was horrible! There was a giant catapult!

Nora: And a star-shaped creature that touched my ass!

(y/n): I don't understand exactly what happened. But Nora, we have to talk, we have to talk like NOW.

Nora: Huh?

Nora and Amalia let you get up and you quickly dust yourself off. 

(y/n): Guys I'm sorry, but Nora and I have something urgent to do.

Yugo: What do you mean?

(y/n): I mean it's in your hands to save Dally.

Everyone: WHAT?!

(Mecha: This may be done in a couple of chapters. Moments in which you and Nora have to get away from others to do things related to the world where you come from)

Ruel: But with your magic I'm sure that-

(y/n): I CAN'T! 

Everyone was surprised by your sudden outburst. Since they met you, they always saw a calm and peaceful person, it was the first time they saw you angry.

Amalia: Okay, leave Dally in our hands, just be careful.

Everyone: Huh?

Amalia: I'm sure (y/n) wouldn't leave us like that unless it was important.

The others were not sure about this, but decided to listen Amalia and let you attend to whatever was so important.

(y/n): Thanks Amalia.

Amalia: *Blushing* J-Just don't do anything fun with her!

Nora: Hey!

(your POV)

Nora and I move away from others, we begin to walk towards another part of the forest. Nora tried to ask me along the way what was happening. I was so upset about what was about to happen that I ignored each one of her questions. Once we were far enough away, I stopped and saw Nora, she didn't stop looking at me with concern.

Nora: (y/n), are you okay? I never saw you like this before.

Me: Nora... I have a blue fire spirit in my pocket and it have a message for us.

Nora: Blue spirit? But that means- *GASP* YOUR FATHER?! (y/n) please, tell him I'm training!

Me: Why?

Nora: I have to... Umh... go to the bathroom!

Me: You can go and then-

Nora: Thanks! Bye!

Nora ran away, leaving me alone for a conversation father and son... great. I took the glass bottle out of my pocket where I kept the spirit of fire and saw that it was sleeping peacefully in it. I start shaking the bottle to wake it up.

Me: Wake up!

Spirit: Good day, my lord. Are we alone now?

Me: Yes.

Atlas: Very well my lord. My name is Atlas, I bring a message from your father, Lord Percival.

Atlas began to increase its size. In a matter of seconds, it was as big as the trees from here. Then, Atlas opened its mouth, its interior was similar to a portal. Inside that portal, a projection appeared and took the form of a tall man with a beard, that man had a patch on his left eye and his clothes were typical of the royal families.

Percival: Greetings, my son.

Me: Greetings, Lord Percival.

Percival: I've told you several times that you can just call me father.

Me: I'm sorry, the only way to go to someone like you is like Lord, that applies to me too.

Me(mind): I rather die than call a jerk like you my father.

Percival: I see. Tell me, how's your mission going? 

Me: I suspect that the Eliacube is in the hands of a Xelor, but this one is proving to be somewhat complicated to locate.

Percival: A good challenge for you. Tell me, is Miss Valkyrie with you?

Me: She is training right now.

Percival: Perfect, I have a little extra mission for you.

Me: Extra mission?

Percival: The next time you see Miss Valkyrie, kill her.

Me: WHAT?!

Percival: It has recently been discovered that Miss Valkyrie has committed an act of treason against the rules of abyss, surely you have already noticed.

Me: I-I don't understand.

Percival: She didn't complete her training, this makes her a danger and a threat to everyone around her

Me: But she did finish her training! 

Percival: Fake documents! Confirmed by his father, Sir Reinhardt! 

Me: I-I-I... I understand.

Percival: Good, Atlas will remain with you until the next time we communicate. 

Atlas returned to its original size and flew towards the sheath of your sword. He transformed into energy and when he touched the sheath, he turned into a mark on it.

I was so furious that I could not take it anymore, I used my magic to create a sword made of magic energy to cut a tree near me. I heard a few steps behind me and slowly I turned with nothing but fury in my eyes, the person behind me was Nora.

Nora: So... Uh... Didn't go well?

Me: You lied to me...

Nora: (y/n), I-I'm sorry.

Me: Nora, you committed a lot of pranks that got me in trouble when we were kids and and I never told anyone that it was you. I always faced the responsibilities for each one of your mistakes... but this was way too far, even for you.

Nora: I-

Me: I accepted this mission to save the life of my younger brother Ryan, I literally abandon my life and my dreams of being the ruler of the abyss for this. I was going to become the king and then change things for our people for a better good, our people would be able to return home and without the need to stay trapped forever in another world. But I left all that behind and for what? For one of your jokes that put at risk this mission and make all this not worth the sacrifice I made! WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!

Nora started to cry quietly, she walked towards me while looking at the ground. Nora stopped in front of me, I can't believe that she could have been so irresponsible.

Nora: I heard what your father said... if you must kill, then me do it.

Me: W-What?

Nora: You always obeyed the code of the abyss knights, it is your duty and it is the only way in which I can pay you for everything I did to you.

There was a long moment of silence. My hand was squeezing tightly the hilt of my sword, I was unsure of what I was doing, can I do this? Nora is my childhood friend, she is the person who knows me best and the only true friend that I had in my family's castle. But at the same time, she is representing a problem that, if is not solved now, it will have enormous consequences in the future. I released the hilt of my sword and put a hand on Nora's shoulder.

Me: *sigh* Fuck this shit, it wouldn't be the first time I go against the orders of my father. 

Nora suddenly started giving me a bear hug while crying uncontrollably, I could feel the bones of my arms breaking slowly.

Nora: *crying* I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! 

 Ignoring the pain, I put a hand on Nora's back and gave her a soft caresses to calm her, this seems to work since her breathing returns to its normal rhythm.

Me: We will find a way to solve this together, don't worry- And I think I have a great idea!

Nora: *sniff* W-What is your idea?  

Me: I'm going to train you!

Nora: Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!

Me: Tell me, what is it that you need to complete your training?

Nora: Em, master the dark side of my aura...

Me: O-Oh... that can be problematic, especially if we start now that you are sad and afraid, it is essential that you keep yourself calm for this part of the training. Otherwise your aura could get out of control and... well...

Nora: What would happen to me?

Me: You could become a demon of the abyss.

Nora: WHAT?!

Me: Why do you think it's important to finish the training?! *sigh* For now, we'd better help the others.

Nora: Okay... (y/n).

Me: Yes Nora?

Nora: Can you let me go now?

Me: What?

I did not realize it at first, but it was me who was now embracing Nora as if her life depended on me. Quickly I let her go and I back away from her a bit.

Me: *blushing* S-Sorry.

Nora: *muttering* Score!

(time skip)

Me: Security system, huh?

Nora told me what happened the last time they tried to break the security of this tower. It is a machinery that is repaired automatically after suffering damage, it is a simple but not an invincible thing. With Nora we walked to the entrance and once in it, a creature that looks like a little demon came out of a drawer that was in the door. 

(The small one)

The creature tried to approach Nora, but I slap the little monster before It could touch her. The little creature ran out to hide and the machinery of the tower began to move. Before that machinery could do anything, I stretched my arm and a rune appeared in front of my palm.

Me: Absolute zero.

A beam of light came out of my rune and hit the machinery, and in an instant, the defense system of the tower was frozen with ice.

Nora: I wish I could do that.

Me: Only the royal family has the ability to control the six elements and you know it.

Nora: Thats why I say "I wish". How are we going to climb to the top?

Me: Nora, you have a hammer, Would you be so kind to knock the door for me?

Nora: Gladly!

Nora took out her hammer and with a good swing she knocked down the door. We started running up the stairs to the top floor of the tower... and running... and running... This may take a while.

(Time skip)

Me: FINALLY! 

This place is bigger inside than outside. With Nora, we reach the top floor of the tower to see... a bunch of ugly princesses along with our companions disguised in a strange way and Dally chained to a throne?

...

...

Me: What is gong on here?

Nora: Is this a costume party?

Everyone: (y/n) and Nora?!

Dally: What are you guys doing here?

Me: We came here to save you, but now I'm a little confused, what is happening here?

(Mecha: I do not remember the name of the princesses and I'm too lazy to look for them. I'm going to give them simple nicknames and thats it.)

BeardPrincess: Oh my, what do we have here?~

MummyPrincess: We have a new knight~

MusclePrincess: and he managed to enter here on his own, it must be the destiny~

BeardPrincess: And he is more handsome than the Iop over there~

Dally: Hey!

Me: I don't like where this is going...

MusclePrincess: Come here mr. knight, give us a kiss or two~

Nora: He is MY knight! Get lost!

Me: Eh?

Nora: Well, we are not "together-together" yet.

Me: Y-Yet?

MusclePrincess: Then I'll take him first!

The muscular princess moved her hand in the air and from a closet, a lot of plates and kitchen utensils went flying towards Nora.

Nora: Bring it on!

Nora hit the plates and utensils with her hammer and sent them back to the muscular princess, burying her in a pile of her own porcelain. For some reason, Eva shot an ice arrow into the closet, causing it to slip and fall to the floor and then break into pieces.

Me: Why the closet?

The bearded princess tried to trap Yugo with the hairs on his beard that moved like tentacles. But Yugo used its portals to escape the grip of that beard, which ended up wrapping around the princess. Ruel took advantage of the situation to free Dally from his chains, cutting them with his shovel.

Ruel: Surprised, my handsome knight?

Dally: No! I knew it was you all along!

Me: Ruel, why are you disguised as a woman? 

Ruel: I tell you later, for now, we have to get out of here.

We all get into battle stance, ready for anything... or that's what I thought. Suddenly, the muscular princess took off her dress, revealing a heavyweight fighter costume. She started making several poses to show off her muscles, she even hit the ground with her foot making it tremble like a sumo fighter.

Me: That can't be good.

Dally: Gross!

Ruel: Sexy~

Amalia: Been nice knowing you guys.

AcnePrincess: Hurry! This way!

The acne princess held the bearded princess near the window, allowing us to use the beard as a rope to escape from the tower.

AcnePrincess: Save yourselves! I won't be able to hold them off for long! 

We all started quickly to slide by the beard towards the ground outside the tower, the princess mummy tried to reach us but her attempts were useless since we were out of reach

MummyPrincess: No! My kiss! I want my kiss! Come back handsome! 

Me(mind): Nope! Nope! Nope! So much nope!

(no ones POV)

AcnePrincess: Leave, valiant knight. Forget about us. I'd rather disgust you with my appearance than with my treachery. Oh, I just hope you can forgive us one day.

Dally: Shame on me! It's not with dresses, perfumes or beauty that a princess is made, but with a noble hearth instead! Thank you, princess!

Dally released a kiss in the air, which flew out to the window on the top floor of the tower. Then, a small explosion happened on that floor and rose smoke came out of the window. 

Everyone: Huh?

A light began to surround the tower and began to transform it into a castle. At the top of the castle, everyone could see through the window the princesses who had returned to their original form, since a true kiss of a pure heart broke the curse.

(y/n): What is this, rapunzel?

Dally: Wow! Princess!

Dally tried to run into the interior of the castle, but you held him, preventing him from going inside again.

Dally: Princess! (y/n), let me go! 

(y/n): You just got out of there!  

Dally: Please!

(y/n): What happened in there?!

Amalia: He is just a Iop brain. He's still not learned his lesson.

Dally: Come on! Just one!

(y/n): You are acting like a perv dude!

(A small time skip)

Everyone was walking through the forest, it was late and the sun began to slowly hide. Dally was super depressed and even without learning his lesson. Eva was happier than usual, as if she had discovered a new side of her. Ruel and Yugo were just talking to each other about how funny it was to wear a dress. You were walking along with Nora, there was a somewhat awkward silence between the two, or at least that's how it was until Nora broke it.

Nora: Thanks (y/n).

(y/n): For what?

Nora: For being my friend. No matter how many times I've gotten you in trouble or the times I bothered you, you never left me alone. You were always there to help me and make me feel better with myself every time I messed up something. 

(y/n): We still have a lot to solve and you know it.

Nora: I know, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun while doing it.

Amalia: What are you two talking about? Did something happen while you two were alone?

Nora: Oh nothing, we just have a nice date today~

Amalia: You did what?!

(y/n): THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED!

Amalia: I told you not to do anything funny with her!

(y/n): We were just... training!

Yugo: Training?!

(y/n)(mind): Oh for fuck sake!

Yugo: Can I train with you guys!

Dally: I would like to have a sword match with you, (y/n).

(y/n): Sorry guys, this is a special training for us.

Nora: Yeah, tell them what kind of special training is~

(y/n): *clenching teeth* Nora, you are not helping!

Amalia: Seriously, what did you two do?

And this discussion continued and continued until the next day, most of the time you spent it evading questions with excuses or ingenious comments. What will happen to our adventurers in the future? You can only know it in the next chapter.

AAANNNDDD DONE!!!

I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Today I felt really good writing this chapter, although I want you to know that I spent four hours writing it xD
