And god, was it contagious-but that's besides the point.

It was your smile that had everyone fooled.

You had it perfected.

With your lips curved, you revealed your perfect teeth.

And the dimples were just icing on the cake.

But if you looked close enough, you'd realize it wasn't perfect.

No, because for a fraction of a second, you'd twitch into a frown.

Your eyes would cascade to the floor and the right corner of your mouth would fall followed by the left.

The frown reached your sea blue eyes in a way the smile never could.

But again, no one noticed.

Because people don't like seeing things they can't make sense of.
