Sanjana pov:

No one will stay forever. Forever is a word which sounds magical but there is no forever in life. Everyone leaves you when time comes. No matter how much you want them stay, they just can't stay. At last the bitter truth is, life goes on. People will come and go, and it's the memories which stays with us, not the people.

It's been two days and now I'm totally fine. Papa got discharged from the hospital and Edwin appointed a nurse to take a special care of him. I went downstairs and I saw Papa talking seriously on phone. Why is he looking tensed? It's not good for him. I walked towards him and sat next to him. He completed his call and gave me a warm smile.

"Good morning Princess!!" he said placing a hand on my head. 

"Morning Papa. Who is on the phone? Is everything okay?" I asked taking his hand into mine.

"Nothing.. It's just a small issue with our clients. They want to cancel the deal" he said in a worried tone.

"But why? Between you must have signed a contract with them right?" I asked.

"No Sanjana. I haven't signed it yet. We just talked about the partnership a few days back and they all agreed. But I don't know what happened to them now" he said holding his head. He is looking so worried.

"Papa, why are worrying about the project? It's not good for your health. Stop thinking about that" I said with concern.

"I know that, but I can't stop worrying" he said giving me a weak smile. I should do something about this issue. I can't let my father ruin his health because of this damn project.

"Papa, you take rest. Leave this thing to me. I'll take care of it" I said and got up from the place. I decided to go to the office. I will talk to the clients and convince them. I took my phone and dialed to Edwin. 

"Hello Sanjana!!" he greeted me and I greeted him back. 

"Where are you Edwin? There's a problem with our new clients" I said walking towards my car.

"Yeah, I came to know about it. I don't know what to do now. It's a great project. I can't even understand their problem" he said sounding low. I'm going to help you out, man. I thought.

"Okay, I know what to do, Edwin. Just arrange a meeting with them. I'll see you at the office" I said and hung the call. I got into my car and started driving to my dad's company. Soon, I reached the place and went inside. Everyone greeted me and I gave a warm smile. I went to my dad's cabin and I saw Edwin talking to a girl.

"Hey!!" I said keeping my bag on the table.

"Hello sista! How is Mr. Joshi?" he asked folding his hands.

"He is fine,Edwin. So what about the meeting? Did you talked to them?" I asked taking my seat.

"Yeah, they agreed and the meeting is in the afternoon" he said and I nodded.

"Okay, make a presentation. I mean make it more clear and one more thing, you are going to present it" I said and he gave me a horrified look.

"You are kidding right? How can I do that?" he asked giving me an annoying look.

"What's wrong in that, Edwin? You must be aware of the project and it will be good if you handle it" I said.

"Sanjana, it will be not nice. Your father...." he was trying to say something but I cut him off.

"Okay, you will do it only when my father orders you right?" I asked and he gave up.

"Not like that.. Okay, I'll present it" he said and I smiled. 

"Don't worry. I'll help you with the presentation" I said and he nodded. Soon, a presentation was made and I verified it. Later, in the afternoon Edwin gave his presentation and it went well. I convinced them a little and they finally agreed. Thank god!! I can see my papa in relief.

"Great job!!" I said to Edwin as soon as the clients left.

""All because of you, Sister. You convinced them well" he stated hugging me sideways.

"Now, let's inform your dad. He'll be so happy" he said taking his phone.

"No Edwin, let the clients talk to him. He will be surprised" I said and he agreed. Soon, we left to a mall as I decided to treat Edwin and also I need to get some dresses.

Sidharth Pov:

I got up when I felt sun rays on my face. I looked at the time, it was 7:00 Am. God!! I'm late for the workout. I thought and rushed to my washroom. I got dressed up and went to the gym. I saw Nihaar doing one armed push ups. 

"Ahem!!" I cleared my throat and he turned his head towards me.

"You are late, Sid" he said in between his counts.

"I didn't have a good sleep last night" I said doing the warm up.

"What happened? Are you thinking about your so called wife?" he said and I turned towards him. he was smiling. I walked towards him and stood in front him.

"Who is my so called wife?" I asked folding my hands.

"Now you started acting. You know whom I'm referring too. The girl at the tower bridge" he said standing up.

"She is not my wife. I even don't know her" I stated with a stern voice and he raised his eyebrows. God!! why is he playing with me.

"I know that, Sid" he said and I walked towards the punching bag.

"But I think she is really a good girl. I liked her " he said shocking me. 

"What the fuck? You even don't know her name, Nihaar. How can you say that?" I asked.

"Her name is Sanjana" he said and I turned towards him. What's going on? How did he got her name?

"I talked to her, Sid. She called for thanking me. She has a angelic voice which I had ever heard before but I feel guilty because it was you who helped her" he said

 "I started to admire her, I guess" he added and I started feeling uneasy. What's wrong with me? 

 "What happened to you now?" he asked shacking me a little.

"Don't talk about a stranger. I don't like it. It's your wish to talk to her or admire her. But I'm not going to listen to your fucking bullshit " I shouted walking towards the exit.

"What?Wait.. Wait.. Why are you shouting now?" he asked blocking my way and I gave him a deathly glare. I held my fist tightly to control my anger. Why the hell is he admiring her? I started gritting my teeth.

"I need to go. I'm getting late" I said and left the place with out answering him. I went to my room and hit the door with frustration. I took a quick shower and dressed up in a suit. I made my ways towards the stairs and I saw Mahika talking to my parents. God!! what is she doing here? Why did she came? I took a deep breath and counted numbers. I don't want to face her. She is a mess.

"Hey buddy!!" I heard her voice breaking my thoughts. Buddy!! I'm not one for god sake.

"Hi!!" I said with a fake smile. I walked towards her as there is no other option. She got up and threw herself on me. I hugged her and she smiled.

"What are you doing here?" I asked and everyone's eyes turned towards me. What? I didn't ask anything wrong. 

"I came for you, dear" she said and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, breakfast is ready. Let's eat" Mom said and everyone nodded.

"Mom, where is Nihaar?" I asked her as I didn't find him.

"He had already left. He didn't even ate" mom said in a worried tone. Nihaar, you are upset. I'm the reason. I thought. Soon, I went to the dining hall and Mihaka sat next to me. I gave her a strange look and she smiled. Fuck!! She is born for irritating me. I thought.

I quickly had my break fast before everyone especially before Mihaka. I cleaned my hands and got up from my place.

"Mom, I'm leaving" I said walking towards the hall.

"Why don't you drop Mihaka at her place? She came for you, son. It will be good if you drop her" Mom said and I gave an annoyed look.

"No mom.. I have an important meeting to attend. I'll tell the driver to drop her" I said and left the place without waiting for her reply. God, you saved me today. I took a deep breath and got into my car. I asked the driver to drop Mihaka and I decided to ride my car. Soon, I reached my place and I directly went into my cabin.

"So what are meetings we have?" I asked my assistant and then she dictated the list looking at her i pad. 

"Okay, check the presentations and correct the errors, And one more thing bring me an Espresso" I said and she nodded. She left my cabin and I started reading some pending files. I heard a door knock. It must be my coffee. I thought and asked to come in. My assistant placed the cup on the table and left the place. 

I got up from my place and took the cup into my hands. I walked towards the glass door and stood there looking at the tower bridge. Suddenly, Nihaar's words flashed in my mind.

"She is really a good girl, Sid"

"She has a melodic voice. I started to admire her" I clenched the cup tightly. He don't know anything about her. 

What do you know, Sid? asked my brain and I remained silent. Because of her, I got into a fight with my cousin. 

"But why the hell am I interfering in his life? I asked myself.

"He is my beloved cousin and I'm just taking care of him" I replied back.

"Is he talking to a criminal or what? She is the person who loved you once. You are her first love remember that" my sub conscious mind said and I decided to give up. I took my phone and dialed to Nihaar as I want to apologize him. 

"Hello!!" I said as soon as he lifted the call.

"Hey Sid!!" he said in full active mood. He is so different. I never expected this from him. He should be angry with me for god sake. 

"Are you there, man?" I heard his voice and I decided to clear my thoughts.

"Yeah.." I said taking a breath. I don't know how to apologize him. 

"So what? What's the reason for your sudden phone call?" he asked and I don't know where to start. I'm not good with apologizing. I thought.

"Okay, I got it. You called me for apologizing. Am I right?" he asked and I hummed.

"Chill dude. I'm not serious with the morning issue. It's just like you can't control your damn anger and I know you brother, so don't worry" he said making me smile. He is awesome.

"But you owe me something?" he added and I know what he will ask.

"Time bhai. I wanna spend some time with you" he said and I was shocked this time. Last time he asked me to booze with him. He is funny. I thought.

"Okay, I have some meetings to attend and after that we can hang out" I said and he agreed. 

"I'll come to your college and pick you up" I said and hung the call. 

Later, I attended all the meetings and finalized some deals. I checked my clock it was 5:00 PM. I should take my leave now. I thought and took my things. I got into the car and went to Nihaar's college. I got down from the car and waited for him. I saw him walking towards me with a girl next to him. I raised my eyebrows and he smiled. He gave a peck on her cheek and bid her bye.

"Who is she?" I asked as soon as he got into the car.

"Just a friend, Sid" he said blinking his eyes. He is a big flirt for sure. He is lying on my face and his eyes are saying a different story.

"Okay leave it. Where shall we go?" I asked changing the gear.

"Let's go to Victoria Place" he said sipping the coke.

"What? What we will do in a mall?" I asked with a frown.

"Let's shop" he said smiling.

"Seriously? You are not a women for god sake. I don't want to go there" I said feeling irritated. I thought of going to a pub and enjoy. 

"I have buy a gift for a girl and I need your help" he said shocking me.  Girl? I'm not going to encourage this. I don't know anything about girls and I can't help him.

"Sid, you saw the girl right? She is Jesica. Tomorrow is her birthday and I should gift her something which is really different from others" he said breaking my thoughts.

"Why do you want to gift something special? Are you interested in her?" I asked raising an eye brow.

"Oh damn!! She is already in relationship man. I just want my gift to be different" he said rolling his eyes.

"Sid, you promised me so please help me" he added and I agreed as I don't have any other option. I took him to the mall and parked my car. We both got down and walked in. 

"So what do you want to gift?" I asked slipping my hands into the pockets. 

"Don't know.. May be a dress" he said and I heard my phone ringing. It was from office. 

"Nihaar, look for a beautiful gift. I'll be right back" I said and excused myself. I went to a corner to take the call.

I completed the call and looked for Nihaar. He is nowhere. Where the hell is he? I thought and went to a clothing shop. I didn't find him in the ground floor. He might be in the next floor. I thought and went to the next floor through elevator. There I saw him talking to a guy. Who is he talking to? Maybe, a friend.

Suddenly, I heard a click sound and I saw a girl walking out from the trail room. My heart beat skipped a beat. What's happening here? Immediately, I turned around so that they won't notice me.   

"Hey Sid!! I'm waiting for you man" I heard Nihaar's voice. There is no other option Sid. The time has come you to face her. Everything will be fine. I said to myself and turned towards them. She was looking at me without blinking her eyes. She was looking like an angel in the dress.

"Come on. Let me introduce you" Nihaar said dragging me towards them.

"He is my cousin, Sidharth" he said looking at me to which I gave a fake smile.

"Sid, he is Edwin" he said and I gave a handshake to him.

"And she is Sanjana. The one I rescued that night" he said. Sanj!! My stalker. I can't forget her. 

"Hi!!" I said and she just smiled. Why is she not talking?
