Here we go

Sidharth Pov: 

It's been one week, where is she? When will she return? I cannot even concentrate on my work. The only thing which comes into my mind is her. I want to get ride of her thoughts but it's highly impossible. I used to call her every night because I missed her presence around me. What the heck is wrong with me? I shook my head to clear my thoughts. 

Sid!! Concentrate on the presentation, man. This project is important to you" my inner conscience warned me. I took a deep breathe and decided to complete my work first.

I completed my work by 6:00 PM. I passed the presentation to my assistant and decided to take leave. I decided to go to my dad's place. It's been a long time since I met them. I miss them. I got into my car and drove to my dad's place. I went inside and I heard some screams from the hall. What's happening here? I saw my parents arguing with each other. What happened to them? 

"Ahem" I cleared my throat and they both turned towards me. 

"Sid!!" they both said at once.

"What happened to you both? Why are you both fighting?" I asked walking towards them.

"Son, please take me to your place. I cannot stay with your dad anymore. I cannot tolerate him" mom said rushing towards me. I looked at my dad and he gave me a puppy look. These people are behaving like kids. They both fight with each other every time but they cannot stay away from each other. My parents prove that true love exists. They are the most lucky couple on earth. I don't know why but envy them. My past started to flash in front of me.

"Why mom? What did he do?" I asked clearing my thoughts. I don't want my past to disturb my thoughts. 

"He is eating candies. His sugar level is high yet he ate sugar candies. I told him strictly to avoid them but look at your father" she said in angry tone.

"Vicku, what is this? Look at my mom, her blood pressure might have increased. You are not supposed to eat candies. I will order cook to not to make any sweet dishes in the house. If he crosses my words then he will lost his job" I said and my mom agreed to it. My dad was a bit disappointed with my decision but it is good for him. We all went to the lawn and my mom ordered some drinks for us. 

"So how is your life? How do you feel now? How is Sanjana?" mom asked me. God!! why these many questions at a time. I ignored her questions and decided to concentrate on my drink.

"Sid?? I asked you something" she said. 

"What mom? What do you want to know? huh? Sanjana is not here. She is in Hamburg" I was saying but my mom cut me off.

"We know that. She will call us everyday and you know we will talk for a while" mom said and this shocked me. She never mentioned about this.

"Sid, we forced you to marry her. We know that but we will never regret that because she is the best for you. She will take care of you very well and I'm damn sure about that. You are really lucky to have her in your life" mom said and that brought a smile on my face. Am I smiling?

I spent some time with my parents and decided to go to my place. I got into my car and drove to my place. I looked my phone and found few missed calls from my wife. Shit!! my phone is in silent mode. Why did she called me these many times? I tried calling her but there is no response from her side. Where did she kept her phone? I tried again and still there is no response. I went to the hall and called the maid.

"Miss. Cat!! Did Sanj called you?" I asked her.

"Yes sir, she said that you didn't picked up her call" she said.

"Did she mentioned anything important? I tried calling her back but there is no response from her side" I said.

"Don't know, sir. But don't worry she will call you again" Cat said and I nodded. I went to my room to get a quick shower. I got dressed up and tried calling her again but my efforts went in vain. 

"She might be busy" I told to myself and decided to go down. I made my ways towards the stairs and my eyes fell on her room. My foot steps automatically turned towards the room. I opened the door and examined everything.

The room has her fragrance. I sat in her bed and my eyes fell on the night stand. I saw antidepressants drugs. What are these doing here? Is she taking these drugs? I was in my thoughts and suddenly I heard my phone ringing. It was Sanjana. An unknown smile came on my face as soon I saw her name.

"Hello!!" I said picking up the call.

"Hello Sidharth!!" she said. Why can't she call me Sid? I like when she addresses me Sid.

"I'm sorry. I was in kitchen and my phone was in hall. I couldn't hear the rings" she apologized. Why is she apologizing?

"Hey!! It's okay. I got a bit worried. That's it" I said.

"Between why did you called me? Is there any emergency? I'm sorry. My phone was in silent. I didn't check it" I said.

"No no. It's not an emergency, Sidharth. I called to inform you that I'm coming to London tomorrow. My work is done here" she said and her words brought a sudden joy inside me. Finally, she is coming after one week. My heart feels good now. I thought.

"That's a great news. I'll come to pick you up then" I said.

"No need. I don't want to trouble you. I'll take a cab" why will she say opposite to me every time? 

"It's okay. I'll come to pick you up and there is no trouble for me in doing that. Please understand this" I said and there is no response from her side.

"You there??" I asked and she hummed.

"Okay then. Will meet you tomorrow. Between when is your flight?" I asked her.

"Tomorrow morning, I'll be there by noon" she said. Shit!! I have a meeting to attend tomorrow. What am I supposed to do? 

"What the hell are you thinking,man? This is the thing which you're craving from long back. Fuck the meeting. my subconscious mocked me.

I even want to ask her about these drugs but I don't know how she will react. I'll ask her when the right time comes.

"Good night, Sanj" I said keeping my thoughts aside. I hung the call and came out of her room. Is she using these pills? But why? I looked at the bottle and it was half empty. She is using these pills for sure. But why?

Sanjana Pov:

My happiness is at peaks because I'm going to see him after one week. I miss him a lot. These days, a lot of things got changed between us. I never excepted his calls but he used to call me every night. He might be missing me. I thought and that brought a smile on my face.

"Get rid of your thoughts, darling" I told to myself and decided to pack my luggage. I heard my phone ringing and this time, it was Reyan. He is also travelling with me tomorrow. I tried a lot to say no to his offer but being my boss, he didn't gave me a chance to say no. I don't know how Sid will react after seeing Reyan with me.

"Hello Reyan!!" I said picking up the call.

"Hello Sanj!! Is your packing done?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's almost done. Cami is there to help me" I said walking out of my room.

"Okay then, I'll catch you up tomorrow. Be ready" he said and hung the call. Why the hell did he called me now? Just to say toq be on time. Idiot. I went down and saw Cami waiting for me. We both had our dinner and I went to my room to get some sleep.

"I'll miss you" Cami said hugging me.

"Me too. You will come there right?" I asked hugging her back and she nodded. Me and Reyan bid her bye and took our boarding pass. God!! I'm existed. I took my phone and texted Sid to pick me up.

We reached London and we both walked out of the airport. I looked around but I didn't find Sid. 

"Are you waiting for someone?" I heard Reyan's voice. 

"Yeah. Sid will come to pick us" I said looking for him. Where is he? He should be here.

"Hey look there, he is Sidharth right?" Reyan said looking at my back. I turned back and I saw Sid hugging a girl. Wait!! Who the hell is she? I have seen her somewhere. Who is she? Yeah, I gotcha. She is Mihika. I saw her on our wedding day. Why the hell is she hugging Sid? 

"Who is she?" I heard Reyan's voice. I ignored Reyan's words and walked towards my husband. 

"Ahem!!" I cleared my throat  and they both turned towards me. I looked at Sid and he gave a breathtaking smile. Immediately, he pulled me close and hugged me. God!! what happened to him? He hugged me so tight that I couldn't even breathe. Something started to fly in my stomach. I'm going to die for sure. I looked at Mihika and she gave me a disgusted look. What the hell is wrong with her? 

"I missed you" he whispered in my ears and that made my heart to run a marathon. Did he mean it? He broke the hug and looked straight into my eyes. 

"Mihika, you know her right? She is Sanjana, my wife" he said holding my waist and pulling me close to him. Whoa!! What happened to him? 

"It's time for us to leave now. Bye" he said and waved a hand to Mihika. He took my hand into his and started walking.

"Where is your luggage?" he asked.

"Did you see Reyan? He holds my luggage" I said showing my finger towards Reyan.

"Did you travel with him?" Sid asked and his grip on my hand got stiffened. His expression got changed all of a sudden.

"He also works for your project" I said.

"Whatever. Let's go home" he said dragging me towards Reyan. What the hell is wrong with him? He gave a angry look to Reyan and took the luggage. He took me to the car and asked me to get in. I looked at Reyan and he waved his hand. I mumbled sorry and got into the car.

What the heck is wrong with him?

"What happened Sidharth?" I asked but he ignored my question.
