Sanjana Pov:

"I'm going to give this a chance" My words are echoing in my ears. Thinking about this marriage thing is sending shivers down my spine. My life is going to change after marrying him. How am I going to deal with him? He doesn't love or care me. He despises me. Getting betrothed to a person who doesn't love you is worse. 

But there is something called Hope which I don't want to loose. I know, I'm being a stupid but I can't give up on him so easily. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door. I got up from my bed and walked towards the door. It was Cami. 

"Hey!!" she said crashing me with a hug. I broke the hug and took her inside. 

"So you want to do this?" she asked me and I nodded my head with a smile.

"He will hurt you again. Do you get it?" she said holding my shoulders tightly. 

"Let him" I said and she rolled her eyes.

"You are my best friend so there is no wrong in worrying about me. But let me do this. I loved him, Cami. I think I still do. Maybe God has decided this. I didn't loved any one in these six years and he was still mourning on his heart break. He never loved anyone after his heart break. Why? Why did I met him in London? Do you get what am I saying? huh? We are destined to be together" I said and she gave up.

"You are going crazy. But if he hurts you then I'll avenge" she warned me.

"Okay, now help me with my outfit" I said and she stood up. She opened my wardrobe and searched for a dress.

"Wear this. It looks good on you" she said showing me a ocean blue colored frock. 

"Are you sure? It looks heavy" I said. She has good taste but it is more for this meeting. I just want to wear something simple and elegant.

"You will look Elegant in this, Sanj. Go with this" she stressed her words and I decided to wear it. She helped me with the dress and make up. 

"Did you talked to Reyaan?" I asked her.

"He knows about your marriage" she said shocking me. God!! News travels really fast. 

"How did he react?" I asked her. He must be hurt. I broke his heart.

"Why don't we postpone this topic to some other time? We will talk later" she said and I nodded my head. I heard a door knock again, my heart beat started to raise. It's a call for me. 

"Let's go.. Mr. Sidharth must be waiting for you" Cami said and opened the door. My maid informed me about their arrival and I nodded. We both started walking downstairs. I looked at the people who are waiting for me in the hall. I didn't find Sidharth in them.

"Why would he come when he despises you?" mocked my brain. It's right after all he hates me. I walked towards the couple and took their blessing. 

"God be with you beta" they both said and my mother in law hugged me. 

"See, I'm your mother from now on. You know what to address me right?" she asked keeping a hand on my head. She is lovely. I liked her. Mom? it's been a long time since I used this word. My mom started to flash in my head. The lady who left me and my Papa. I cleared my thoughts and nodded my head.

"Thank you mom!" I said with a smile hiding my tears. Suddenly, I heard Nihaar's voice from the other side. I didn't expect him to come. I turned my head and my heart skipped a beat. Sidharth? He was looking at me without blinking his eyes. I didn't expect this too.

"Mami, Sid wants to talk to her. It will be better if they know each other" Nihaar's voice brought me to the present. Really? But what he wants to talk? I have a lot of questions for him but I don't know whether he will answer or not.

"Mom, there is no need of all this" Sid said immediately. 

"Nihaar is right, beta. You both should know each other" Papa said looking at me. I looked at Sid and he gave up. Edwin asked me to take Sid to the lawn. Why is my heart beating fast? It's going to burst out soon. 

"Shall we?" I heard a smooth and refreshing voice. The voice which I fell for. The voice which can lit my heart on fire. I turned towards him and nodded my head. We both walked towards the lawn and we were in silence.

"So what do you want to talk?" I asked him breaking the ice. 

"huh?? Nothing.. It was Nihaar. He did this. I literally don't have any thing to talk" he said and I nodded. 

"Do you have anything to talk?" I heard his voice.

"Why did you agreed to this proposal, Sidharth?" I asked him looking straight into his eyes. 

"It's none of your concern" he said turning to the other side. He is rude. How can he say that? It concerns me after all I'm going to be his wife.

"What do you think about this stupid thing? I hate this actually.. I want to get rid of this" he said breaking my heart. 

"It may be a stupid thing for you but It's not for me. Thanks for being so honest for saying that you hate this. Even I do the same. I'm doing for my Papa's happiness. He is the only one left for me in this world" I said looking straight into his eyes. 

"It's getting cold outside. I'm going in" I said and left the place. He hates everything regarding this. 

Sidharth Pov:

She asked me why I agreed to marry her? How can I say that I agreed for my two projects, for my own growth? I don't want her to think that I'm a selfish idiot. 

"What the hell is this? She hates you. Then why are you worried about what she thinks? Yes, you are a selfish idiot who wants to play with her feelings all the time" mocked my brain.

"What do you think about this stupid thing? I hate this actually.. I want to get rid of this" I said turning towards her. She was looking at me with a smile. But I'm sure that's not for her heart. 

"It may be a stupid thing for you but It's not for me. Thanks for being so honest for saying that you hate this. Even I do the same but I don't have any other choice. I'm doing for my Papa's happiness. He is the only one left for me in this world" she said looking straight into my eyes and giving me a shock.

How can she be so selfless? She told me the truth. Her eyes were full of emotions. She left me and went inside.

"What are you going to do, Sid? Where is you document? Go and make her sign the contract" mocked my brain. I took a deep breathe and went inside. I looked at her and she was talking to Nihaar. They both turned into best friends, I guess. She was laughing at his stupid jokes. God!! It's been a long time since I saw her laugh. She looks beautiful when she laughs.

"Are you going take that beautiful laugh away from her?" asked my brain.

"It's the time for us to leave. We will make the arrangements and call you" I heard my dad's voice. I walked towards Mr. Arvind and took his blessing again.

"Accompany them to the parking lot, Sanjana" he said to his daughter and she nodded. We went to the parking lot and my parents took their car. I looked at Nihaar and signaled him to get into the car as I wanted to have a word with her. 

"Bye Sanj. See you soon" Nihaar said to her and got into the car. She turned towards me and stared into my eyes. I walked towards her and stood in front of her. 

"Bye Sidharth" she said and turned to leave. Why is she not giving me a chance to speak?

"Hey wait!!" I said and she turned towards me. She raised her eyebrows and asked me what. What am I going to say to her?

"Nothing... just wanted to say bye. Bye Sanj!! Take care!!" I said and got into my car. Why the heck is my heart running a marathon? I released my breathe and gave life to the engine. I started driving to my home. 

"Sid!!" I heard Nihaar's voice but I ignored him and changed the gear. 

"Sid!! We are in a wrong route. This is not the way to our home" he shouted and I stopped the car. Fuck!! What am I doing?

"What the hell happened to you?" he asked and I held my head.

"Did you told her about the contract?" he asked and I didn't answer him.

"Sid, I asked you something" he said.

"I couldn't.."

"What?"

"She is selfless, Nihaar. And I'm a selfish asshole. I hurted her once and I don't want to hurt her this time. My heart is not willing to do this to her" I said and I didn't realize tears in my eyes.

"I never hated her, Nihaar. She was the one who brought me back. I liked her. I thought her she was my friend but hell no. She loved me. I promised myself that I will never fall in that pit so I hurted her. I hurted her with my words and threw her away from me"

"I hurted her once. But this time I'm not going to hurt her again. I don't want to do this" I said and he smiled.

"Thanks to god for putting some sense into your head" he said smiling and hugged me. 

"So what you want to do?" he asked.

"I'll leave this to god. I want to know what he got for me" I said smiling.

"Let's go home, bhai. I'm tired" Nihaar said and I nodded. I turned to the car and started driving home. I reached my place and went inside. I went to my room and placed the document in my cupboard. Suddenly, my eyes fell on the craftbook. I don't know why I pasted all her notes. I literally don't know the reason. I walked towards my bed and sat on it. I opened the book and read all the notes. 

"What do we have in between us, Sanj? Why didn't you love anyone after me? Are we destined together?"
