The next day, Pippa and Jazzy wake up to a loud and somewhat obnoxious knocking on their door. Pippa blearily opens her eyes and rolls out of bed onto the floor before springing up to answer the door.

"What is it?" Pippa asks, opening the door, just a crack. It's Lin, and he has a wide grin on his face.

"Get up and get dressed! I just found out that Vanessa and Seb are coming down for a visit!" Lin says, much too enthusiastically for it being 6:00 in the morning.

"Oh my gosh, that's amazing!" Jazzy squeals, bouncing over to the door. "But couldn't you have told us at a more reasonable hour?"

"They just now told me. I didn't even realize how early it was," Lin sheepishly admits. "They should be here in an hour! We are meeting at IHOP if you want to join."

"Oh my goodness, I would love some waffles," Jazzy replies, laughing. "I'm in. What about you, Pip?"

"Of course! I would love to see your family, Lin!" Pippa says. "How's Nessa doing with the baby?"

"She says that it's going surprisingly well. The baby is apparently extremely active."

"That's wonderful! Do you know the gender yet?" Pippa asks excitedly.

"I think she's telling me today!" Lin replies.

"Ahh! That's amazing!" Jazzy squeals. "Do we get to know?"

"Of course! You two are practically the baby's big sisters!" Lin says. "Although, I don't know if that's a good thing or not."

"I will have you know that we are a wonderful influence on children," Jazzy smirks.

"You know we're going to spoil it to death," Pippa adds. "Even if it is a boy."

"That's true," Lin admits. "Now, put some real clothes on and meet me down in the lobby in fifteen minutes so that we can get to the restaurant."

"Alright," Pippa replies, closing the door. She wears her Eliza Hamilton scarf (which has become her favorite article of clothing), jeans, and gray boots. Jazzy decides to put on a flannel (Anthony's), leggings, and Converse.

By the time that both girls get their stuff together and do their daily makeup, it's time to head down to meet Lin. They climb into the backseat of his rental car, and drive off to meet Vanessa and Sebastian.

"Lin!" Vanessa squeals, when she sees her husband. Pippa and Jazzy stand off to the side, until Sebastian notices them and runs full-speed at Pippa.

"PIIIIIPPPPAAA!" Sebastian squeals. "J-ZZZY!" He collides with Pippa's knees and she stumbles a little bit, then picks him up and twirls him around.

"SEBBY!" she laughs. "How are you, buddy?"

"Mommy has a baby in her tummy!" he announces, proudly.

"Really? Wow!" Jazzy says, overdramatically, in a high-pitched voice.

Vanessa walks over to the girls and takes Seb from Pippa's arms. "It's so lovely to see you both," she says, smiling.

"How are you doing, Vanessa?" Jazzy asks.

"I'm hanging in there," she smiles.

"You're getting so big!" Pippa tells her. "And you look wonderful!"

"I know! I can't believe it!" Nessa replies, happily. She sets Sebastian down on the ground and gives both girls hugs. Sebastian runs over to Lin and gives him a big hug.

"Buddy, you gave the girls their hugs before me," Lin pretends to pout. Sebastian giggles.

"Don't worry Daddy! I still love you more!"

"Let's go in and get a table," Vanessa suggests.

"That sounds good to me," Lin replies, scooping Sebastian up into his arms and carrying him into the restaurant. Jazzy, Pippa, and Vanessa follow them.

Pipps slides into the booth next to Jazzy, and Lin, Vanessa, and Sebastian are on the other side. Once everybody has placed their orders with their overly-perky waitress, a smile creeps onto Vanessa's face.

"So, I have some exciting news, that I think you three should be the first to know," she says.

"What is it?" Pippa asks, thinking that she knows what's coming.

"I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and found out the gender of the baby!" Vanessa says. Pippa and Jazzy squeal, and Lin kisses Vanessa on the cheek.

"Well, spill it!" Jazzy urges.

"Seb, do you want to help Mama?" Vanessa asks.

"Yeah!" he replies. He's playing with the tiny wolf keychain on Pippa's keys.

"Alright, come here." She hoists the little boy onto her lap and helps him pull off his sweatshirt, to reveal a pink tee shirt that reads "World's best big brother!" Sebastian squirms a little bit but then calms down.

"Is it a girl?" Pippa squeals.

"It is!" Vanessa confirms.

"Oh Vanessa!" Lin says, kissing her. He places his hands on her stomach. "We have a little princess growing in there."

"We do. She's healthy and due in February." Vanessa smiles, and pulls Lin into another kiss. Sebastian goes over to Pippa to sit on her lap. She picks him up and he immediately starts messing with her hair.

"Congratulations!" Jazzy exclaims.

"You know that we are going to be spoiling that little girl like she was our own," Pippa tells Vanessa.

"I assumed," she laughs. "Feel free. The more stuff that you two buy her, the less Lin and I will have to."

All of the adults start to laugh.

"You're going to have a little sister, Seb!" Vanessa tells him.

"Yay!" he claps his hands together.

Soon, everyone's food comes. Pippa ordered oatmeal, one of the only egg-free options, where Jazzy got strawberry waffles, Lin ordered a cinnamon roll, Vanessa got an egg and cheese omelette, and Sebastian had French toast. They spend another hour and a half catching up with Vanessa.

After they decide to leave the restaurant, Vanessa pulls Lin aside.

"I hate to ask you this, since it's a show day and everything, but Sebastian hasn't seen you in so long, and he wants you take him to that new Lego movie this afternoon. Would you mind? He misses you so much, Lin."

"Oh my gosh, of course I will!" Lin replies. "Come here, Seb!"

Sebastian runs over to his dad, jumping up and down excitedly.

"We can't be late to the movie, now, can we?"

Sebastian cheers, and Lin turns to Pippa and Jazzy.

"Can you tell them at the theatre that I'm taking a day off? Brett can go on for me if he's alright with it," Lin says.

"Of course. Have fun, Sebby!" Jazzy replies.

"Bye Jazz-jazz," Sebastian says, waving. "And Pippa."

"For once you're the 'and'," Jazzy laughs, turning to Pippa.

"And Eliza, that's me!" Pippa fires back, rolling her eyes.

"Since Lin took his rental car, do you need a ride back to the hotel?" Vanessa asks the girls.

"That would be wonderful," Jazzy replies gratefully.

They all get into Vanessa's car, where she drops them off at the hotel.

"Come on in! We can watch a movie or something," Pippa suggests.

"That sounds like fun, if you don't mind."

"We don't have to be at the theater for two and a half more hours. Especially if you can drive us, we will have plenty of time," Pippa tells Vanessa.

"Awesome!" Vanessa replies, and follows the girls to their hotel room, where they all flop down on Pippa's bed and start flipping through the TV.
